- Learn HowTo mount and use a Power-Pole Micro on Yamaha Waverunner FXHO.
I run these ski's out of Islamorada, The Fishing Capital of the World, in the sunny Florida Keys, about 90 miles from beautiful Key West. Nothing is better than Florida Keys for fishing. These WaveRunners provide great family entertainment, whether it’s at the Holiday Isle sandbar for a friendly party or offshore fishing for Tuna, Mahi-mahi, or Wahoo. It is difficult not to smile while cruising on these fishing machines.

Great stuff! Just looking at getting into this! This is an excellent option with a lot of versatility!
Super cool! Looks great! This is Robbie, thanks again! Awesome ski!
Will give your info out in a future video, so others interested in getting a similar cooler cradle can contact you. Thanks for the awesome product.
Great! Thank you Dean! Your very welcome!
VERY NICE!! How much weight have you added?
Not sure if you know the Answer but here it goes… Do you think the shorelock PWC rack will hold the micro power pole? I’m not sure if you’ve even seen one of these rack systems but I figured I’d give it a shot. Thanks and I enjoy your videos
Tipical life at the fl keys. A lot of money. and time. To play. Jjjjj enjoy.... good toy .
.
Awesome
That is one awesome looking machine. I'm just looking into the jet ski fishing units and what's going to get a SeaDoo fish pro but I'm wondering if I should get a Yamaha. What's your opinion on the Fish pro trophy? Both my boys went into the Marines so I don't need a big boat anymore it's hard to do that by yourself so I thought this would be the way to go. I sure hope you could reply soon. Thanks
How does the power pole, in the up position, handle chop and waves? Has it ever come out? For reference I have a Yamaha SVHO for play and a OldTown MinKota powered kayak with 8ft power pole for fishing. Power pole has been my favorite accessory however even on the Kayak that 8 ft pole feels unstable on the back through any kind of waves. I have everything needed to set up the Ski as a fishing vessel just need to plan a trip and debating if I set up the power pole.
I use mine to mount my Water lily underwater generator on my fish pro-Prevents me from getting stranded without power in middle of gulf.
Damn that thing got a grill too.
Sweet rig. Only thing that ur missing is a trolling motor. Hahaha
Sir, may I ask you if you'd sell this ski ? I am an disabled vet and simply can not deal with setups like yours.. If you want to upgrade yours some time this year, please sell this ski to me.. thank you for your time.. Cem.
Everything he got done was custom. You would have to buy a jet ski then take it to a boat fabricator and get everything installed
Where can I find a cooler rack like you have installed?
How much did this cost ?
Dang that thing is decked out
Very nice! I have an '17 FX SVHO that I'm in the process of setting up. I'm looking to set mine up very similar to the one you have here. I looked at the fishmaster arches but it looks like they discontinued the front arch as it is not on their website anymore. I see you are using the rotopax vs the 12 gallon fuel tank. How has that setup worked out for you? The rotopax only offers a maximum of four gallon tanks right? You must be running two 4 gallon for a total of eight? Looking forward to your build video that I'm sure will answer many of the questions I've asked or am thinking of!!
Hi Joe, the 12 gallon tank works great but I wanted to try something else on this build and have a bigger cooler. Stay tuned for the build HOW TO video. thanks for watching
Is the cooler rack your design? Or is it purchased through a manufacturer? I really like it, seems to hold rotopax too

@@dpbaynon was about to ask this same question! lol
HE SPOKE ON IT, HE BOUGHT IT CUSTOM MADE
If you dont mind me asking how much $ did you sepend to make this rig
How did you run the transducer wire?
Need detail parts list n blueprint
Working on it. Thanks for watching.
Set up a blog online maybe
Those arches look similar to the ones made by Fishmaster. Is that where you get yours ? Nice setup BTW
Yes, for this setup I used their product.
Stay tuned for the "How To" build video on this WaveRunner
With the cooler rack, it looks like it is covering the water jet that shoots up from the back deck. Did you redirect the jet? Looking to build a cooler rack for my FX HO... thanks!
Hey Lovin, so you are able to re-direct that jet anywhere you like or even remove it and plug it permanently. It is not a necessary mechanic for the operation of a Yamaha, more of a trademark. Look near your jet output and bring a flathead screwdriver. Have fun!
That’s an easy bypass switch you can hook underneath the swim deck above the drive. And having the valve bypass is nice if you tow tubers as to not spray them the whole time. Did it on my 2012 Yamaha VXS
Hi, I am considering getting into jet skiing and maybe fishing.
So newbie question..with the rig on the back of your ski.
How do you mount your Ski if you end up in the water?
Can you climb over it?
Hello and thank for watching. The WaveRunners are very stable and I have never turned one. The one time I slipped off, it was an easy pull back up from the side. If one is heavy or not in good muscular shape, I imagine it may pose a problem, but that would apply to re-boarding from the rear also.

If your gonna do all that why not get a boat? What about all that electronic stuff when you decide you wanna play? You can make a pvc cooler rack for about 20 or 30 bucks and revet it together. Ive made two. Anything you put on the back makes it hell to board in deep water. You cannot use your step plus you have to crawl all over the cooler. Poorman`s humble opinion.
I have a boat but like my ski way better and play all the time. We can all board from the side without any difficulties.
I DON'T LIKE THAT STICK SO HIGH UP LIKE THAT, LOOKS GOOFY
Just get a boat at that point
BOAT MAINTENANCE AND GAS IS SUPER EXPENSIVE, NOT WORTH IT
