Broadstairs Undercliff Walking Trail | Dumpton Gap To Viking Bay

Along the Broadstairs Undercliff Walking Trail to Viking Bay, Broadstairs. Beginning or ending at Dumpton Gap beach and linking to Viking Bay, the Broadstairs Undercliff Walking Trail is just over 1km in each direction. At low tide it is possible to walk the entire distance along sandy beaches. There is also a parallel pathway along the top of the cliff named the Broadstairs West Cliff Promenade making it possible to go in one direction along the top or bottom of the cliff, returning along the other path in a loop.
This section of the Kent coast has many sandy beaches, mostly below chalk cliffs. At low tide rock pools are exposed containing a variety of marine flora and fauna.
