BRICS is not just about possible alternative currency for trading. It’s about expanding trading partners that are willing to trade amongst the group using one or more currencies from within the group. I know there is a lot of attempts to present BRICS as disorganized and not important. But as the saying goes… when your enemy is making a mistake, don’t interrupt. The U.S. will lose its dollar dominance because of weaponization via sanctions and (if they actually go through with it) this madness being contemplated of seizing Russia’s $300B in reserves. The global south is SICK of the U.S. bullying and hypocrisy. Reputation is damaged. Who would trust a bully… thanks to exhibit Ukraine & Gaza.
The way this girl said create currency overnight over and over again is crazy. Digital currency system is all you need not a new global currency that goes into the ring and knocks the dollar in round one. All you need to present is the infrastructure to enable other countries to trade in local currencies and give the members options to divest from dollar trading. U.S. cut off Russia from swift and Russia found an alternative, showing the global majority what’s possible.
Firstly, these ladies with post-graduation qualifications are not practically hands on experience. Secondly, BRICS plus is not anti dollarisation. It's an alternative financial services that allows countries to trades freely without being sanctions by the US & its proxies (western countries). I believe it is just a matter of time the world realises that multipolar systems is a better solution for peace, economy etc etc. Therefore, long live BRICS plus.
