I find it funny how it's always the players that don't always play the most games and get the most minutes that are the most lively around the training ground. Even if they don't always score goals, they're great players to have around for so many reasons

I recall watching the 2002 Brazil World Cup documentary.Those players who got the fewest minutes (by the way that team was insane,even Kaka' rarely played) ,those players were happy,joyful, cried and remained humble..U will find that the 3rd choice Argentina goalkeeper are more laidback & humble than Martinez haha.
In the end I guess it must be team spirit of football and the patience no matter if you are substitute or rarely used.

From being at River Plate, To signing to the Champions of England, to being called up to the National team, to making his debut in the EPL & UCL, To being called up to the World cup, scoring in the tournament, and even starting the Final & end up winning it is just insane to think about.

I've seen french commentators/former players saying afterwards that the win was fair and they were HAPPY for Messi. As an Argentinian, seing the comments and reactions from around the world (though specially from our latinoamerican siblings) has been one of the most emotional parts of it all for me. The whole planet wanted it, just like when watching a huge movie, we all want the good guys to win. I don't even really like fútbol that much. But Messi just, simply, DESERVED IT. We made manifest, even if for one day, we all co created a fair world were the good, humble, most talented one won.
Many fans don't understand that once the match is over, practically all the players get back to the start. Can there be more gloating after? Obviously. Will some players still hold some grudge? Yeah, but the good ones know that once the match is over, all they have to look forward to is the next match

I Honestly think the 6 months here at city helped Julian so much for Argentina. He impressed everyone with his finishing, and was probably the hardest working forward Argentina had. He was pressing like a monster and deserved every minute he played. Was so happy to cheer for Argentina AND see my boy Julian balling out on the biggest stage. Well done son, well done

Thats why I say coming to City last January was huge for him to learn how one of the best of the best teams operates. Also working with Pep and understand what it takes to win at the highest level helped as well. Julian has so much potential and will be a top player in the world in the coming years

Great to see everybody congratulating Julian. Extremely well deserved👍 He was one of the most impactful players at this word cup imo. Every time I watch him play for City, he’s always one of the stand out players on the pitch. It baffles me every time when I see Pep not starting him. With departures of Gabby Jesus and Sterling in the summer, we’ve lost that high intensity pressing from the front (and it shows this season). Julian is the only player in our squad who has these qualities naturally, plus he provides a huge goal-scoring threat. Probably the the biggest one aside Haaland. Pep must integrate him into our starting lineup imo.
