Hi Angelina!!!❤❤❤ Happy New Year! I can't believe you remembered mentioning me regarding the Receptiva dx test.😂 I am glad you finally got some answers!!!. I am wishing you so much success in your journey this year!!! The Lupron should definitely tame down whatever the inflammation is thats going on. Just like you, i tested negative for cd138(plasma cells) to test for endometritis and if you remember, i tested postive back in November of 2022 for bcl6 with an hscore of 3.4. I was scheduled for a laparoscopy in June of 2023 that i ended up canceling but rescheduled and finally had it done in Novemeber of 2023, so just under two months ago now. My doctor found 0 endometriosis!!! 😮 it was disheartening and confusing. My doctor advised that in order to do lupron, i would need to do ivf bc it puts you into medical menopause and they would need to do meds to restart my cycle in enough time for the Lupron to still have an effect on the inflammation. Its exciting to know your doctor is allowing you to try it with natural cycles. I cant wait to hear your update! 🎉❤
Hi Crystal!! Thank you again for telling me about this test 😊 wow so you tested positive for silent endo bcl6 but had no endometriosis inside? So you only have inflammation like me? I didn't have a laparoscopy after those results, instead I started Lupron for 2 months. I'm sorry your journey has been confusing, I still feel confused myself! I had 2 natural cycles already, and both were unsuccessful in getting pregnant (currently on day 1 period cycle 2). So despite the Lupron treatment, I have yet to get pregnant but, I think my body needs to get into a rhythm 😅 we are going to try one more cycle and if it's not successful we will meet with my specialist to talk about it. We aren't going to do ivf so natural is the way for me, even with Clomid I'm terrified bc I did one round on that and it ended up ectopic 😭 im hoping 2024 brings us both good news!! What are your plans moving forward then? It was so nice to hear from you 🤍
Yes, the lupron definitely shut down my system and I was having alllll the hot flashes haha. It was nice not having a period during that time lol! My period did come back just fine thankfully and I'm on vaginal progesterone and oral estrogen once I ovulate. That's my protocol for now until I meet with my doc if 3rd cycle is unsuccessful, I'm not sure what she will suggest or add.
@AngelinaJones hey Hon, sorry I'm just getting back 2 you. It's been a difficult few days. So my RE suggested I do ovulation induction(even though I o just fine on my own) with letrozole, hcg trigger, and iui. Thr goal here is supposed to cause more eggs to mature in hopes that at least one will fertilize. Its been unsuccessful. I've been spotting all week instead of my cycle coming on like normal, which it should have 3 days ago. Not pregnant either, bc I've been checking just make sure it's not a chemical or an ectopic situation brewing. I don't think it will happen bc as far as I know I still have thr elevated bcl6 in spite of no visible endo. It was my first iui. The whole of last year between my receptiva and the lap, I was just trying naturally.

@AngelinaJones what I don't fully understand is, if a person doesn't have endometriosis, how does Lupron help? I have cone across a few women on reddit who tested positive but no endo was found on lap as well. They go on to do Lupron anyway with ivf and find success. If endometriosis is fed by estrogen, which causes the inflammation, and Lupron lowers estrogen....where is the inflammation coming from if you dont have it, then, ykwim? In your case, I'm concerned if the Lupron is still working since your period has come back, which means estrogen will be building again....supposedly that flares the inflammation? Also, your doctor has you on oral estrogen? Did they explain the reasons for each step? I hope it will help regardless. It's just so confusing to understand what is really going on with our bodies and what the best course of treatment is. I don't say any of this to be discouraging, I'm sure your doctor knows what they're doing, I'm just trying to understand it all as well. I am also looking into resveratrol supplementation, which is supposed to help with endo related inflammation....I'm still confused about how I can have elevated bcl6 with no endo so I don't know if it's even helpful.
