  • Better known as Alexander the Second of Russia, Alexander the Liberator was an emperor known for his reforms to Russian government and society, particularly his emancipation of the serfs, alongside his less peaceful achievements. Despite his reforms, he was unpopular among some Russians and suffered many assassination attempts until one succeeded. Alexander’s humanitarian reforms and policies changed Russia in drastic ways, and although many were done away with by his successor, Alexander III, his legacy had a resounding impact. Well only what peasants dont have money and place to live. Well manifest give them right to be free but without they land or something so serfs get back to owners because they promissed them money. Serfdom as it gone only after WW1 because empire collapsed. But Alexander second whas one of the best Tsars. Well Nikolas second want to give more rights to regions but it whas to late.. the same as gorbachev want to give more democracy to soviet states but then people feel not so tought hand they run away.

Maf Choiaqo That was not genocide. That was one chapter of ethnic cleansing amongst many Caucasian tribes that had going for centuries before Russia had control of the Caucasus. Also, a lot of the Circassians tribes were encouraged to come back during the 1870s to the 1880s.

The narrator needs to learn how to properly pronounce "reform". It's distracting and irritating.
