Enjoying your channel so far. As an Emergency Department Nurse and Adventure bike owner - my advice to you is to get a large enough ADV jacket, so you can wear your puffer underneath. That way you get the crash protection from your ADV gear in the event of an off, and your non bike gear is protected. You are living on the edge if riding riding in non CE rated gear. I am regularly riding in single digit temps in Northeast Vic and that system works well. Keep up the good content.
Thanks GanGoz, it's a bit hard to see in the video but we do have CE rated motorbike jackets underneath our puffy jackets. They're summer jackets because we're planning to be in warm weather for most of the trip, which are great in the heat but need a little extra help in the cold lol
Thanks Mark glad you're still liking the vids :-) We figure there's no way to avoid things going wrong sometimes so we try to treat it all as part of the adventure.
Hello Tina and Jason...well you both are doing very well on the bikes, just a reminder on Corrugated roads, get up the speed to ride over the bumps....The underground hotel....no way for me...I am claustrophobic I would be freaking out...I just got back from a ride up to Leigh Creek, Lyndhurst and Maree....from Adelaide over three days....Stay safe.... If ever you come to Adelaide you are welcome ...David...Adelaide..Tiger 900GT....
Hey David, thanks again for the tips we're slowly getting the hang of it, although I don't think we'll ever find corrugation fun. Haha definitely wouldn't recommend the underground hotel if you don't like small spaces. Glad to hear you can still go for rides down there too with everything going on, we're a long way from Adelaide atm but will let you know when we come through SA 👍
I bet the bitumen is always welcome when motorcycles are the mode of transport and how the red earth gets into everything doesn't surprise me either. Unfortunately there are people who don't look after their pets and have no idea what clean means. I always welcome spring mainly for the warmer weather, so I understand how much Tina is so looking forward to staying up north. Looking forward to the next episode. Stay safe and well 👍❤🙂
Thanks mum, yeah we always gets excited when the road turns from dirt to sealed, unfortunately it turns back to dirt shortly after a lot of the time lol.
When did you do this trip. Just curious seeing as all of NSW is locked down and Qld is closed to NSW.?. I'm itching to get out for a trip if there's a way.
Yeah we didn't realize how lucky we were at the time. Things seem to be heading in the right direction down there though so hopefully won't be too much longer till things get back to normal 🤞
OMG the more i watch the more i love you to guys... so good
Thanks Darryl! 🙂

Thanks for coming over Louis, hope you enjoy the videos (and Angular tutorials :)
Great to see you guys get toasted... 😁
I have seen that green bike avatar before somewhere.....on AHN maybe?
Haha cheers Marty 🍻
It warms up quickly out there.
Yep it does, daytime temps warmed up after here but mornings were still pretty chilly for a while
I never realised how big the underground hotel was. Cheers.
Yeah we were surprised by the number of rooms too.

I so agree with not staying in a grotty place! It just makes you feel angry and spoils a place. Goodbye shit! Loved your porridge. Stay safe. 🧡❤️
We like to rough it but that was pushing it a bit too far! 😂 Thanks!
Need to find out more about the under ground living experience, would love to try it myself ❤🤔
You and dad should go for a road trip and check out the place when things get back to normal 🙂

It was from the start of July when regional NSW was still open and the QLD border was only closed to Sydney.
@@TinaandJason Yeah, just noticed the date in the description of your latest video. You guys timed that just right, lucky buggers.

@@TinaandJason For the vaccinated anyway so I may not be going anywhere just yet LOL.
Don't you just love the duct tape good for everything lol live the underground motel and someone had a big hangover lol and yes Tina hates shit
Haha yep it's the most used (only used!) tool in our toolbox. It wasn't too bad of a hangover only four drinks, but yeah we're light weights now 😅
Wingh wingh wingh
Plenty more where that came from 😘
Boring
Thanks for watching. Now you take care and have good day ☺️
