- Cessna T337G Super Skymaster Takeoff C-FJIL of Discovery Helicopters Ltd is seen taking off from CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. I was super happy to catch this aircraft as I haven't seen a Skymaster is a long time, and never a T337G before!
On another note, it looks like my spotting trip to Europe may be coming together for this summer! So if anyone else has any must-spot airports to visit, please let me know.
almost a combination of a WW2 and modern plane, certainly striking in appearance!

pressurized skymaster. theyve always had a distinct and unique sound so i could always tell it was a skymaster just by the sound.
They're always interesting ones to see, love the unique design. And you're totally right about the sound, it is definitely unique as well!

Awesome, very nice! Europe sounds nice, I can't recommend anything from experience, but Schiphol, Frankfurt and Zurich seem very nice, judging by videos. Looks like you've got some research to do!

Absolutely gorgeous airplane. I assume it was a good bird? I heard they have rear engine cooling issues.
@@UncleSlimJimmy It can. We had the rear "cowl flaps" rigged to open extra wide and never close.

I never got any bigger than a 152 or 172. Being a twin are these a lot more difficult to fly? Still inline thrust as opposed to over the wings...

I don't know if you're into gliders, but if so you must visit the worlds busiest glider field, Oerlinghausen (EDLO) near Bielefeld: goo.gl/maps/oao0g.
Some 25,000 glider launches per year (plus just as many powered aircraft takeoffs). Particularly busy on summer weekends with lots of thermals. Up to 5 winch launch lanes operating simultaneously plus aerotow.
