I just tried this for the first time. It was kind of a hassle but I got them full using the flame king. Then for a week I kept smelling something in the shop. Today I filled some Fuel Keg bottles with their filler. I picked up the Coleman bottles and one was almost empty. Another was no longer fill. , So never will I refill the disposable ones
They say NOT to refill them. I know people that do. I researched it & they gave number of reasons why . That's why they make the refillable canisters. They😮⁸ are way over priced.
I just tried mine on 3 empty 1 pound tanks and nothing. Great pressure from the 20 pound tank and then when I hooked up to the 1 pound tanks zero propane flow.
Whoa, that's weird. I wonder if it's an issue with the adapter or the tanks...were they nice and cold? That helps with the flow, in my experience. I usually have good success; I did have a tank, one time, that only partially filled. Hopefully, you have some success, to make purchasing the adapter worth it.
@@rudybarrera6273 You don't have to, but I believe it helps with speed and filling more fully. Something something physics...🤣 Thanks for the question!

@@AreWeThereYet-2025 Oh, man, that sucks. The valve on them must not have closed properly somehow after. Brutal!

Do you have to freeze the small tank or does it just help?
