Best tips, are the best.
Problem with me when comes to Mp3 encoding mine are all different from 320 to 256 in more older songs
I hear that! I take some time to cycle out less than 320s whenever I come across them. It's not the cheapest method...but I try to make sure my whole library is up to snuff whenever possible
Do you run your tracks first in PN before Mixed in Key, or vice versa?
So I'll go from download to PN, saving the new processed file in a unique folder. Then, I drag that folder into MIK before adding the song to my Serato library
Ok, that's what I do as well.
Lately my tracks just sound too bright--not sure if it's my new DDJ-FLX10, or upgrading to PN/MIK 10. Serato is updated, firmware/drivers are good, Mac is new and just used for mixing.
May have to make a custom PN template and play with that to see.
Appreciate your reply.@@djshyneonline
That's what I would suggest. Start tweaking the PN template settings to your liking to see if the processed file sounds more in line with what you want it to sound like!@@jackiegerena3895
Do you enable Auto Gain in Serato? I always go back and forth. Wondering if it's needed given that I process all of my tracks in PN and MIK.@@djshyneonline
I don't see the harm in it. There are some deeper dynamics at play using PN, where as Auto Gain is simply a loudness stabilizer@@jackiegerena3895
