Just need clarification. Did you connect directly to the Move via WiFi and myDMXgo? I couldn't see if you used any other connectors to make this happen. I don't wanna pay more for the ILS Version.
Thank you for the video. This is great. Can we install a Flood Light ILS? If yes, what brand and model would you recommend for a medium sized stage theater?
Great video by the way. Can you spotlight with the moving heads for example can I control the areas of the dancefloor where I want to move the spotlights too.
DJ Barry B The Starving DJ yes you can. I recently messed with it and found more ways to customize it. I can show walk you through it if you need. Shoot me an e-mail: info@djbombos.com if you want me to do that.
Hi, love the video. I have bought the gigbar move after seeing the video. I have a question, does it turn as soon as it is plugged in or is there an on switch.
Jayman Enriquez it’s not that hard. I’m familiar with the settings and I’m not running complex light shows. The app is always open on the tablet and all I have to do is tap, scroll or swipe to make any changes. It helps to plan ahead and have an idea of what you’re going to do before you do it.
That sound at 14:04 is the motor slipping cuz it’s trying to move too fast. Huge design flaw in this unit. I have two of these and they do not like to move fast or smooth. Way too dim as well.
What settings do you use to connect the gigbar move to mydmx go, I tried to do it like you did, but it doesn’t work, can you do a step by step video on how to connect them?
You have to be on the MyDmxGo WiFi network. Sometimes you need to go into the app and Refresh it but I believe what is blocking you is you may not be on its network.
@@jojobombos3908 Thanks for answering, i got it to the same network, but my problem is the configuration, i added the chauvet Gigbar move, but i only get the moving heads to work only with white light, I can’t change it, and the other lights and laser on the right side of the app, i can’t get them to work. How did you configured them, or do you have another video showing how to do that
@@joaquinreyes3399 in ‘Live’ or ‘Fixture’ Mode? “Live” gives you a few options but when you go into “Fixture” mode, you can tune the light to exactly what you want it to do. I’ve been meaning to do another video to show how that works but time keeps eluding me.
Thanks for this video, I have exactly the same setup that you have with the (ADJ DMX Go, Chauvet GB-Move & Light Rider App). i had tried this app three months ago and was having issues with getting the units to work correctly. Since then i have been in touch with light rider and they say that they have fixed it & have sent me a updated SSL file for light rider. So if you light rider app is working correctly with the Chauvet GB-Move then it's good to know. i have noticed that the movers that you have make the strange noise at times like mine like they are getting stuck. I agree one hundred % with your comment about the cable it seems like a industry standard that all lights come with the minimum requirement cable. (i also own two Chauvet GB-2 as well) Absolutely love them.
DJ Lopes_com thank you so much for watching. The only difference is that I’m not using the ‘light rider’ app. (I understand that they made it and ADJ either bought rights and copied it) but I’m using the ADJ DMX Go app and I got it to work. Try that and let me know if it works.
The whole time I was using the app to run the lights in real time. Are you talking about recording a show and recalling it later? Yes, you can do that. And, you don’t even need the app to have it on SoundActive Mode.
tried the gigbar move for a few days now, still trying to get the strobes to work lol but loving this product. One of the main probles tho is that its not super bright so when in a venue that already has lighting it get over powered a bit
Great video. I am in the process of getting one and I already have the MyDMX Go, so your video was a perfect way to showcase this functionality. I was a bit leary about the possibility that MyDMX Go would not have individual control of each light, but you have demonstrated that it does!.. Awesome. I have other lights as well, but this will save a great deal of time in setup and teardown. Since you have some experience with this, it would be great if you could do another videos showing how you may set up your MyDMX Go programs for weddings...first dance, cake, other dances, etc.
Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback. Yes, it can control each fixture independently. I’ll definitely put out more videos highlighting programs.
Great walkthrough, thanks. I already own the GigBar 2, but was thinking about picking up the Gigbar Move as well as the ADJ MyDMXGo, but I've heard very mixed reviews of the MyDMXGo, particularly with it dropping wireless signal. (I wish it had a built in ethernet port so you could attach a dedicated wireless router to it instead). Anyway, have you had any problems with your MyDMXGo? And does the footswtich that comes with the Move work well? I always found the footswtich that came with my GigBar 2 very unpredictable and unreliable, especially if other wireless devices were in the area.
pjmuck when a light fixture has been patched in correctly, I have not had any issues with the MyDMXgo. No drop in signal or anything of that sort. I only tested the foot switch a few times and it seemed to work perfectly but not in a room crowded with hundreds of wireless devices so I can hardly comment on that. I’m pretty happy with the Move paired with MyDMXgo.
I wouldn't recommend it for a place of worship. It may look unsightly. That's one of the cases where you want those fixtures separate and mounted in not so obvious places.
These lights are not bright all. After seeing this fixture at a few events, I immediately went and built my own using a FX WASH and two Chauvet 260 Intimidators. I put it on a gravity stand with a gravity TBar. The Gigbar move is a great all in one idea, but the fixtures are introductory and not easily controlled.
Can't believe the bag still has the foot controller on the OUTSIDE of the bag!! HORRIBLE. The pockets rip and TEAR. Why don't they make it that the foot controller and go INSIDE the bag???
@@jojobombos3908 yes sure ...firstly the moving head are way too weak and uncontrollable on remote or footswitch without dmx or going round back of fixture and one of the reasons people bought the gig bar was to avoid using dmx...ease of use - second you cannot turn off the strobe on remote even though there is a button for it so its manufacturlly flawed - and this was something that you could do on the gig bar 2 and irc and its actually important as some people can have reactions to strobe lighting . 3rd its over priced and 4th the bag is under more strain than kim kardasians bra and will stay together about as long... so gig bar 2 good idea worth the money and fit for purpose but this is actually rushed to market and a terrible blinging waste of time. I think the diming did not work correctly the footswitch was actually better than the gb2 and it was slightly brighter but all the dsp on back pointless as no dj is going to interrupt his set go behind to adjust settings mid set - it needed to be controllable more on a remote or footswitch - without needing to use dmx - So its all to much blinging and no singing...and its overpriced not as good as gig bar 2 and that is why I think its the worst fixture i ever bought

Can you do a video using the Pioneer RB-DMX1 on these lights. I would love to see if they work with it better or with the program you're using now.
Great video thanks for the detail and showing the DMX control
Thanks for taking the time to watch. 🙏🏾
I have 2 gigbar2 lights. I'm looking to get the ADJ GO. I have a Samsung S7 tablet. Have you had a good experience using the Samsung tab?
Nice video bro thank you. I use sound switch but liking that my dmx go.
You’re welcome bro. Keep the records spinning.
Just got this product, How do i turn on more strobes or strobe effect! Just a bit unsure how it works!? Thanks
I’m going to make another detailed video soon. I’ll address that

hi, i just got the gigbar move, do i need to buy the dmx before i can use mobile app... if yes, what model can you recommend thanks
Yes sir, you need to buy the ADJ MyDMX Go. It acts as a WiFi transmitter/receiver between your device and the Light fixtures you want to control.
I just bought my DMX go for my gig bar move. How does the sound mode work with the dmx?
Is this app part of the gigbar or is this seperate as I am interested in this gigbar so wanna know if I could also get it

Yes it does.
Are the movers suitable for a first dance light .. are they bright enough ?
They’re only 10 Watts. So definitely not the brightest but that’s going to depend on the size of the room and if the other lights are on or off.
Thanks for this video
You’re welcome
Thinking about adj airstream
how do u keep the rotating lights pointed towards the dance floor without using DMX?
totem mode
Also can you show how you fit the dmx to the bar ...... (I just got the bar love it but want to start to get into bmx)
Will do, watch the space.
Could you get mydmx to work?
I still can't work it 😞
I just got the gig bar do you think it’s worth dmx
Yes indeed, DMX makes it come alive and puts the power in your hands to customize scenes.
Just enjoyed the vocabulary here.😆😆😆
Can you still use the foot pedals to control how you set it up through the MY DMX Go?
I think the foot controller will still put the fixture in standby mode or turn it on even with the MyDMXgo but I have to try it out first to be sure.
Can it be used in a small church?
I wouldn't recommend it for a place of worship. It may look unsightly. That's one of the cases where you want those fixtures separate and mounted in not so obvious places.
Thank you !
what is the latest software version for this unit
Good video :)
andybelii thank you for checking it out
to connect wirelessly what device did you use on the rig?
ADJ MyDmxGo and the MyDmxGo App. It lets you connect the whole fixture to the dongle and then you can control it wirelessly using a tablet.
Do you think it’s worth the investment
The ADJ Airstream or the GigBAR?
what setting do you use on the gigbar 2
I don’t have the gig bar 2, but I’m sure you would still patch it in to the software/app just like any other light fixture.
I did the step by step and still can’t get dmx working at all. Frustrating have the exact same setup
You may need to power off and on again but it does work.
