What's up wit the hate.Sure his voice isn't the same as back in the 80's and 90's but damn it still better than some front men today.i saw them at the Baltimore arena in 1990 or 91 at the Empire tour in their prime and it still the best concert I've been to to date..
Saw Geoff and his band last night 9-25-2021 in Clearwater FL and his vocals were Fantastic!!! The band was terrific. Geoff is great to his fans. Catch this tour. Almost 3 hrs.
Geoff has always been such a great front man. Besides being one of the greatest vocalist ever, you can see that he truly loves what he is doing just by the way he interacts with his audience and the smile on his face 🥰🤘🏻❤️ this is no cover band! Geoff and Chris were the true and only ‘Queensryche’
@@daviddaniel3996 Yep. Chris got married once, never got divorced, and his kids know their father. Can't fault him for that, and it's something that no other member of Queensryche managed to pull off.
Rock on Rockers while those who just sat and watched, well, just sat there and watched instead of picking up an instrument and at least try to rock like QR. rock on
WTF was that solo on Another Rainy Night and Jet City Woman? Stop with the guitar hanging below your knees, the walking around and doing "I'm a rock god poses" . It's totally interfering with your concentration.
Drummer is soooo behind the beat it’s pathetic. Um bro, this is a ROCK ALBUM. Ridiculous. Check out the first break in ARN (I mean the entire set is a mess) but the vocals are ON of course but it’s like the drummer suffered a stroke and just simply cannot keep up.
@@danstory4286 And? My comment is that he’s behind the beat. Try listening to the song vs stand the ground of what technology is being used. He IS using a click track. And he’s not very good at it.
@@anthemgunaether2914 Lol You're not getting it. The man on the click is the ONLY guy on the beat. Everyone else is off. I know this from spending countless hours on stage myself.
@@danstory4286 Ok. Try this… Tap along to the staccato piano notes (on the click track) to Best I Can at the intro. Keep tapping… And when the drummer comes in, he’s BEHIND the beat. The band doesn’t listen to the click (do you see headphones on the guitar players), they listen to the drummer. It’s not about being “right”. Just be honest… is the drummer playing ON those piano stabs (if they remained playing)? Or is he BEHIND that track? @@anthemgunaether2914 If the drummer is not on a click, then you're right. However, I can't stomach going back and listening to that trash. I will concede due to musical sensitivity.
This is a play-by-numbers band with no metal attack whatsoever. I’ll give Geoff benefit of the doubt, he needs a better monitor to know when he’s terribly flat.
Geoff sounds great. Band is iffy- three major flubs on the first song alone. When the lead guitarist played the solo- correctly- the rest of the band just didn’t seem to follow. Geoff’s voice deserves better players under it. Edit: you guys have had thirty years to learn the twin lead on “Thin Line”. Can you not get it to the point that it doesn’t sound like a junior high band learning their instruments?
For years Tate forced Queensryche play his strange and odd stuff... Ruined the Band almost, and now makes a living out of playing the classic Ryche stuff he denied to perform for decades... What a joke
My bros opened up for him on the joke "Mindcrime" show so I had to sit through it. The people saying this is great blow my mind. I saw the Warning, Rage and Mindcrime tours front row all three. They were my favorite band. He's a pathetic shell of his former self and should just pack it up. His voice is gone, the playing was weak as hell. Sad he's taking people's money for this.
what kind of F'ing fan are you...? ALL of their voices are gone.... they are OLD! hello!. hes doing the best he can and still out there giving it his all... so he gets an A+ for effort dumbass!
@@brucepk631 I don't pay money to see an "effort". Same with Dokken. They dont play the songs that are challenging to neither the singer nor the musicians. He became too controlling and they gave him his papers. Happens all the time. They are better off now with a band that plays what they want to play. One best voices of the 80's together with Dio, Hardford and Bruce from Iron Maiden🔥🤘🔥

Nice ! Thanks !
Give credit where credit is due. Chris DeGarmo’s timing on exiting Queensryche was pristine.
Gotta go there don't ya?
I think when DeGarmo left, it really hurt Tate. They were very good friends. And, they never captured that songwriting vibe again.
I'd say the demise of the band was because of Chris leaving.
