Not sure he was asked to leave but he didn't particularly like the direction the music was going becoming more guitar based and punky , although I have all their albums I didn't like Always outnumbered never outgunned and The Day is my enemy has it's moments but not their best, No Tourists was better and Invaders must die was a return to form with nods to their rave roots but The Prodigy Experience was for me their happiest album , it just compels you to dance.

Kudos to Liam even at this time he needed two racks of 3 Synths on each with a mixing desk and probably 2 hardware samplers must have cost a mega fortune in 97 and now you produce all that on 2 or 3 Midi keyboards and a decent Mac... Analog over digital all day long but back then forget about effect it must have cost a bomb to buy. My set up was fairly basic in 1999/2000 but was still a 6 grand set up, cue rolling eyes.. ..
I was at this gig... He was either dancing in the crowd or climbing up the scaffolding to the balcony . There's footage somewhere of him running through the lobby during the set 😂
