- This is Sean's 1/5 FG Sport really good dude i met at the spot today cool enough to let me film some of his cars/speed passes!! I figured i'd share with you guy's!! Shout out Bashers United!
Damn that's fast!!! What a machine bro! back in the day (The early 90's in my personal case! lol) i used to run Tamiya's of all different types, off-road, on-road, monster trucks etc and they topped out anywhere from 18mph"ish" to 30/35mph fir the really fast (at the time) Touring car racers (depending on the gearing etc) and generally ran 7.2v Nicad's or NiMH. These RC Cars of today are just crazy fast compared to what i had back then! The batteries, motor technology and radio systems have improved exponentially! Huge thumbs up for the video bigteedo111 !!
I'm in the same boat but I got back into it with my sons and it's crazy. Run times are so much better now too.

This thing is sweet but definitely needs better receiver, something with stability control/ gyro. Just noticed this video is fairly old so that may not have been a thing back then. :)

spaat L 12S was no problem for these tires and I also know a guy who ran 14S no problem over 100mph

Did this car have 2 gears or is it 1 gear n pinion its been a long time for me since 2001 i stopped running nitro n electric and also brushless motors were starting to pop out in 2001 left n right so i fell off these brushless motors do damage never had a chance to buy a brusheless set up there nasty😉
