    How much is your salary?
Make it public the the income of the Church in offering and tithe.
Does Church offering and tithe belongs to the Pastor or the Church?
If it belongs to the Church where do the pastors make their money they use in building mansions and buying jets?

Christians should give above the law ABOVE THE LAW NOT below the law, therefore if the law was 10% then Christians should give above 10% whether split in 100 places or one place.
Tithing would mean to put the 10% in one place, so to GIVE in the new testament you split it into many places obeying giving ABOVE the law.
REMEMBER "The tithe is the Lords" not any Churches or Cult. The tithe is the Lords for you to give above the Law unto the Lord by Faith.
Even carnal men can tithe unto the Lord to Charities because all the wealth of the earth belongs to the Most High.
The difference between the Old and New Covenant is that in the NEW covenant the Lord removes all differences between Tithes, Offerings, and Firstfruits and Alms etc. All are OFFERINGS nevertheless the Lords weighs the heart to know if he/she gives a worthy offering or not.
We say we live in the dispensation of Grace and seedtime and harvest yet we give less than the Old Covenant? ABSOLUTE NONSENSE! Do we give less because we are poorer than those in the Old Covenant or some say they were for Jews ... however, Malachi says "Will A man rob God?" A man any human being with flesh and blood: will a man rob God?
Some say Tithe have only planted fruit crops and farm produce: Do we still live under seed time and harvest and why do we still give Offerings and Charity today?
Some say the Tithe was a tax by the Children of Israel to God as ruler: Really is our tax today more spiritual? Why do we use offerings in Church then?
Notice I have mentioned only converting the 10%TITHE into giving in the NEW Testament dispensation as a minimum giving and not controlling where and how it is given as I am not an advocate of giving the 10% constantly to the same church week or month after month.
But Christians total giving should be above 10% per income thereby living above the Law in grace.

If I may suggest another 7 keys to tithing...
    1. Understand there is no such thing as a biblical tithe on earned wages.
    2. Under Mosaic law only items of the land could be received as a tithe - only produce and livestock.
    3. Mosaic law is no longer in effect and neither is the system of atonement at that time according to the Christian faith.
    4. Abraham's tithe was a one-time event and only involved spoils of war. There's no biblical evidence that he tithed from his own wealth, ever.
    5. Malachi 3:10 was an indictment to the Levitical Priests, not even all of Israel.
    6. Tithing under Mosaic law was compulsory. As such, cannot be considered giving or an act of faith.
    7. There's biblical evidence that money was used during the time of Mosaic law. It just wasn't acceptable as a tithe item as it wasn't God made, it's man-made.

The Tithe Dies in Acts 15.
I do not understand this constant digging up this “Dead Horse” or patching an old wineskin. The tithe is not in or required by the New Covenant we have as Christians. The Church (means “Called Out” assembly, not a building or temple) in Acts 15, this was decided by the Holy Spirit that Gentiles (that is me and all the non-Jews) are not under any of the Old Covenant. We as Christians are to support missions, by example, we are to support an elder that teaches and preaches, Remember that Paul was a tentmaker by trade and supported himself sometimes. We are to support those in need, we are to give not the 10% or the 23% of the actual OT tithe that the Jew is required to give, but to give 100% of our time, money, goods, and life. Generously and freely giving happy to give not under law or rule.
We do a lot of things out of tradition and convenience. The fans like this tactic. The church attender can check that box and move on with their life. Followers know that Jesus does not come by on Sundays to count nickels and noses. Someone will have to explain why we in America have churches on every corner and homeless in the streets, widows no one cares about, orphans without homes, sick with no caregiver and the lost stay lost while we squabble. We have leaders that fleece the flock to promote more programs and buildings to keep rich preachers and their lackeys in positions of power to lead sheep to strange practices that divide the flock.
Jesus called us to be Salt and Light, to take up a cross and follow Him. Wash feet!
If all the fans and sometimes visitors, tire kickers and " fair weather Christians" did not attend or give (and most of these don't give) could your building keep the bills paid? Keep the doors open? If so, You may be a member of a social club not a Church of the New Testament. Love your enemies, forgive them, Love your neighbors, serve them, wash the feet of your brothers and sisters. Luke 14: 33 In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples. “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out.
“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

Well take the converse of your argument. If nobody donated money to the Churches, would churches even exist? Tithing seems like a pretty good way to keep the word of god alive and well. How could missions be formed and Churches pay the rent if everybody thought like you.
And if you ever try tithing and I suggest you do. I can truly tell you out of my own experience it unlocks supernatural abundance and things just start happening for you even material wealth will come your way much more than the tithe itself.
Pastor Jerry points out many parts of scripture that recommend the tithe, you say it's a "dead horse" Can you point out a particular book or scripture which supports this assertion?

@@valiken1 the whole new covenant is focused on giving on the principle you cannot out give God the tithe is to support the priesthood and the temple we don't have temples we don't have a priesthood we're all royal priests if you want to go back to the old covenant then go be a Jew whatever but don't drag old covenant rules into the new covenant they don't belong we don't need them we have perfect liberty and perfect law of liberty read first John and relax

@@SonnyReeves Well like I said, I'm totally willing to entertain the idea that what you are saying is true.. But:
      1. Can you give me some scriptures in the New Covenant which support this idea?
      2. What happens if we stop tithing to the church? How will they survive?
