Find tithing one time in the New Testament. In Mathew 23:23 Jesus called tithing the LAW. He went to the cross to free us from the LAW. Practicing the "tithe" which no Christian has ever kept no not one is a SIN. JESUS CHRIST said it is finished!
@@jakecurry4270 so you take your tithes to the temple in Jerusalem and give it ONLY to the Levite priests? The law requires that. No one but a Levite priest may receive a tithe, and they can only be received in Jerusalem. Do you keep the law? Or do you let man's traditions over-ride God's Word?
My suggestion is that the giving here is freewill offering n not tithing. Therefore Christians should be encouraged to practice giving offerings freely.

The tithe robbers are still stuck in the Law. The Law and Prophets were until John (The Baptist) - Luke @ The Law didn't end with Jesus Christ death. For the Law was given by Moses, The Law ended with John and Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ. - John @ Jesus Christ ministry didn't start until John was in Prison. Now when John was in Prison, Then Jesus Christ came preaching the gospel of the kingdom. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, Mark @ Therefore, Every thing that Jesus Christ told you including "YE PAY TITHE...THESE THINGS YE OUGHT TO..." Is the Gospel in Grace and Truth. You gotta come out of the Law. God got rid of the ordinances and nailed them to the cross. But he didn't get rid of the tithe. How do we know? The preacher completely missed the point: he conflates giving, offering WITH tithing. The old covenant saints were commanded to pay 10%, but we belong to a better covenant with more precious promises. GIVING IN OUR GENERATION IS NOT TIED TO A %age. The preacher failed dismally to defend the 10%. New covenant believers do the Word naturally because we are born again of the Word. But those of the old had to be moved by law (regulations). Apostle Paul and Christ Himself, including the other 3 Apostles, never taught on tithing (10%). Malachi has nothing to do with us.

It is now the Spirit of Tithing. Hebrews 7:8 Jesus "receives tithes of whom it is witnessed that HE LIVETH".
Do we then nullify the law by this faith? Not at all, rather we uphold it.

Tithing is different from offering and sowing of a seed because sowing and offering are not commandments but they are willing.
