Sadly my beautiful Mum lost her battle to cancer. This is why I have not been uploading much!
As much as it destroyed us loosing her so soon , she is resting peacefully now! I’m proud of her and her battle, she was so tough and such a loving person!
I am doing ok now and I’ll be back into the swing of things with UA-cam! She loved watching my episodes so Ill continue these in her memory! Love you Mum!

When mounting the aerial to make it cleaner I suggest drilling a hole in the back of your hoop and running the cable through that, you can add a plug into it so you can take the bar off easily.

There’s a massive amount of room about 2 inches away from that glove box above the heater box high ,dry and leaves you a glove box for your gloves 😜
Yep, just pop the glovebox out and there's a spot for a bracket on the dash bar. That's where mine hides on my Patrol

Mounted my UHF head unit up behind the glovebox, on the metal dash rail, heaps of room without sacrificing room in the glovebox

My two cents worth, I reckon the lights look ideal, understand why you cut the grille but comes across to me as butcheress, something I didnt expect from you.
Need to get me one of those magnetic mic mounts, my GME XRS (gift from my kids in 2018) came with std slotted bkt.
Mounted my unit in centre console (primary unit) along with my old GME 6300 (secondary unit) which I use as a scanning unit whilst on tracks.
Just loving the appearance of this rig, hope rig meets with your expectations on the pending trip.
Thanks for the feedback mate! The grilles are only worth $50 or so and I wasn’t worried about damaging it at all, I was just making sure that the arial was not squashed! I really don’t like when the arial runs down under the grille, I think it just looks taccy!!

Not flush cutting cable ties is no good, get yourself a set of angled side cutters so they don’t leave a sharp edge

The suspension is honestly amazing! Everyone who rides in it always mentions how good it drives! Even my mates with patrols are so shocked by how it drives!! Highly recommend!

Awesome mate thanks for the reply I’m sold been looking for any info on people running that setup and mixed reviews some say it’s great some say it’s no good and the super flex arms cause the car hop and float around the road and pulls hard to one side under braking
