Thank you for sharing this. Yes, that is the First African Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia. I plan to visit for a tour one day. Many descendants of enslaved in Savannah come from Igbo in Nigeria or tribes in Sierra Leone, Guinea and The Gambia. The people mentioned were formerly enslaved and the church was an Underground Railroad stop.
The rice cultivation, sweet grass basket weaving, traditional food, are just a few of many traditions in that area still being practiced today. My maternal ancestors were sold from South Carolina which is right next door about 40 minutes drive. And yes, the church has Hebrew writing although many tried to debunk it like they always do smh.

Just to add one thing - Israel is located on the North East African Sinai peninsula. Europeans annexed an entire region with the Suez Canal and renamed it "the Middle East." There is no such place. Israel is part of a region that connects the continent of Africa to Asia.

Through out this war on Gaza I have been looking to see the black Israelites, and to hear and see how they have been treated. The ancient name for Palestine was Canaan after the son of Ham, whose name was Canaan. Ham was a son of Noah from whose lineage the ancient Egyptians descend from. Hagar, the wife of Abraham, was Egyptian and gave birth to Ishmael. And the Afro-Arabs are descendants of Ishmael. What we are referring to as Palestine/Israel was an extension of Egypt/Kemet, which is why it boggles my mind when people defend European Jews claiming birthright privileges and occupying the land over there.
