    Thanks Nisha, like i said before, your content is on point and precise. As you share, I sit with my Laptop and type all your points. It's because they are all useful points. I'm currently in this stage of finding for the right supplier. However, i'm a bit of stuck where once you find the right supplier, what is the next step as in are we need to get the supplier to make small quantity with our labeling and brand and with that product do we find our dealers (Grocery shop owners or restaurant owners) or customer to test the market? What i'm asking how do we know whether our product works and what is the our first initial quantity we need to order to sell in the market. Also to know what's the best way to determine what is the market demand for the product with minimal costing before lauching the product. Thanks and appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing :-)

      Hey Prema...Thanks a tonne for your encouraging words :-) Not sure if you seen my videos "Choosing the Right Product" and "How to find your Buyers". Pls check them out.
      Regarding what to do next - My suggestion would be to see 1) If there is a demand in the market for your product 2) Are there any competitors doing similar products? If so, how are they performing?
      Before bringing the product, it would be good to speak to your local shops etc (whoever you are planning to sell to) and get some interest. Speak to your supplier and ask his minimum order quantity. Tell him you want to test the market 1st and ask him to send some samples to send to your prospective customers.
      If you have more queries, pls email me on nishamenon@nikasu.com x

    Thank you Nisha for the thought process to follow. Very useful.
    May I ask you what needs to be considered when setting up a business bank account particularly if international payments are involved? Also should one consider paying in GBP or in exporters local currency etc. Which one would be preferred over the other especially for import to UK businesses : Online banking / pay pal / high street banks etc.
    Sorry for asking an array of queries.

    • @NishaMenonBusinessTalks
      @NishaMenonBusinessTalks  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Joshy
      When setting up bank account make sure they have facilities for international payments to the country you are dealing with. Eg India. Regarding currency its your choice if you wish to pay in GBP or in local currency. And also depends on what the supplier agrees to

    Thanks alot for your video. Hope this content will be useful for all beginners. I have quick question, whether we can import greens,curry leaves & fresh vegetables from India. What kind of certificate do we need to submit to HMRC? What will be the import duty?

    • @NishaMenonBusinessTalks
      @NishaMenonBusinessTalks  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Shailaja
      Yes you can import fresh vegetables but curry leaves has restrictions. For fresh fruits and vegetables you have to register with Defra & Peach websites. Duty rate varies with product and quantity

    But mam if importer want to import 4- 5 product in one container then he / she has to find a genuine merchant exporter so that they don't have to contact 3- 4 manufacturers at a time ...am i right?

    • @NishaMenonBusinessTalks
      @NishaMenonBusinessTalks  3 місяці тому

      Hi Sachin
      Yes that's right. If you are planning to import multiple items, it's better to speak to a good exporter who can consolidate all these for you and then export. Or if one of the manufacturers is happy to consolidate all the items and export for you that's good.
      Wish you all the very best

      CFR means cost and freight. It means it's buyer's responsibility to handle transportation of goods upto port of importer's country. But there are not any insurance applied in the transportation of goods. Its my openion that deal in CIF (Cost insurance & freight) rather than CFR.
      I hope it's clear.
