I guess Your advice applied to all of Preferences. Regional cumulation You can use regional cumulation so that materials originating in one of the following countries can be used as if they were materials originating in the country of export: Group Countries in the group 1 Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar or Burma, Philippines and Vietnam 2 Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka The origin of the finished product will be the country in which the goods were last processed if the processing was more than minimal. If that processing was only minimal the origin will be the country who provided the most customs value of the materials used.
The certificates you need for most products are the same. However depending on the restrictions certain food products might need extra certificate like phytosanitary certificate, pesticides test report etc. Pls speak with your freight forwarding agent regarding this
Hello Nisha, I am Abhishek very informative videos, thank you for such videos :) . I am planning for a new start-up. I was wondering if you have any idea what is the tariff for Indian snacks ? I tried looking on the website you mentioned but I can not find 'snacks' when I search.
Hello Abhishek, You will not find by the word "snacks". Mostly Indian snacks will not be displayed there. You will have to search by the type of product and go with what closely matches with ingredients in that. Eg. It might be under Section IV (Prepared food stuff). And then you have to search for sub categories closely matching your products

Hi Nisha - great video I am a manufacturer of a wide range of frozen foods and snacks in India. We are currently exporting in Canada and Australia. Looking to enter the UK market. Is it possible to get an appointment with you?
Hi Nisha, If I want to export a food product that contains some milk-based ingredients, can I export that to the UK? Because I came to know that the UK has banned products that contain milk-based ingredients.
My concern is once the items are here how we find distributors don’t want my thousands of pounds sitting in warehouses Is it really worth importing? I’m planning to import the classic fruit juices cartons from Pakistan . I see them in the desi grocery stores but still reluctant. Only distribution part scares me off
Hi, you have to 1st try and speak to distributors to see if there is an interest for your products. After which you can get pre orders from them, so you wouldn't end up with excess stock.
Hi Nisha Thanks for informative video! I’m new start up and still struggling to understand do I need take any certification to import sugar coated saunf and namkeen? If you can clarify I will really appreciate this? Thanks Supriya
