I dropped 7000 gems on this box, emptied it once. How does Konami expect new players to even get a glimpse at the other 38 boxes? The system was barely feasible in the past, but it's starting to get out of hand.
starting? Sadly I've been at here for too long, no characters left to level for gems, events that last 2-3 weeks only give out 500 gems or less, core staples locked behind huge pay walls... I hate-play this game half of the time.
It went out of hand more than a year ago. For me, it was Karma Cut that made me realise how expensive is to get 3 copies of a UR/SR staple from an effing mini box while they released moooore UR/SR staples in both Big and Mini Boxes. The grinding wasn't worth it.

Getting cards you need for a playable deck is ridiculously expensive in DL. After playing MD I'll never go back (unless they make some big changes). I've spent just $80 on MD so far and Im way better off than I ever was in DL.
Yeah, there is no way a f2p player can keep up with duel links weekly boxes that power creeps the older boxes. You just can't stay relevant in rank without spending money.

@@nikolaseschholz bro, why do you spend your UR energy if you can search it from secret pack? 3 Endymion=90 UR energy. I only spend my UR energy for card that only obtainable from master pack, like chicken game, upstart, etc. You must be God if you can find them by opening Master Pack lol
Ok, recommendations for Duel Links content:
-Can't miss with a good tournament highlight reel
-Challenges like winning with spicy streak builds or commenting on submitted replays sounds like fun
-You playing against the champ of a MW with one of the top 32-decks chosen at random in a Bo3 (thug finals)
-What will it become series, where you run through potentially good decks in DL and then show the Master Duel current build (kind of what you did on your Cyber Dragons video - I wasn't really thinking on going into MD and that caught my attention as a DL player)
-Join a tourney in disguise and then comment out your run
I always enjoy your DL box opening videos, but what you're saying about it not being cost-effective makes sense too.
I support ur decision to not buy any more packs if ur doing that. I’m still watching ur streams. Konami is outta pocket for picking yours.

I'd like Duel Links ladder gameplay back the most. I enjoy tournament final videos but prefer watching them live on Twitch. What I miss the most since MD release is gameplay streams and videos, and full coverage of the MW.
I love duel links, but there needs to be a crafting system for older boxes. An example would be to give dream tickets up unto like feb 2021 for disenchanting a similar rarity in feb 2022.

It took me 9999 gems to get 3 Manju. Reset after I got the first one (100/180 packs left), then reset and dug for the other 2 copies.
I had 9999 saved with extra gems in my gift box because there's been nothing worth getting, but I know most players aren't in the same boat.
I enjoy your duel links content (the duels, decks, meta weeklies and pack openings) but I completely understand not buying into boxes anymore if it's not balancing the checkbook with the views from here. Duel links or master duel your content is amazing and I love to watch it. Keep up the great work Dkayed and Gia!
To be honest, I enjoy this dudes presentation and comedic timing more than box openings. So if he wants to cut back on giving Konami money I don’t mind. He can still duel and win with the cards he has.

$270? For that amount you can get Elden Ring + other FULL games KEKW or enough gems to build like 3 (maybe more) fully optimized decks in master duel. Also, commenting over spicy win-streak replays sounds good to me.
Seriously, this game is so expensive if you want to build optimized decks. Master Duel is way better.

Both manju and trishula were at the bottom (last 3 packs) for me.
Odd-eyes and the field spell is in last 12 packs that i never bothered to get
And nekroz sr searcher is in last 15 packs that i need to get ,
So yeah it's not conspiracy it's truth for many people like me.

I am done with duel links due to the fact I am no longer interested in it, the meta is heavily weak and the ban list still have many cards on the list that should had been taken off the list by now.

I stopped trying in this game. I just play for fun now. I don’t bother getting to KOG anymore. Furthermore, the ladder system is so broken to the point where the game makes you lose on purpose. Komoney knows you’re winning so you gotta lose because you need to keep playing. I could be on a fine winning streak and the next think you know, you start bricking hard and somehow your opponent top decks the exact card they need to out the board. Don’t even get me started with the “disconnects” when your opponent is at legend rank 5 and you lose because of a poor “connection.”
Hope that konami can lets us exchange card within the box. For example, such as card that have been ban can be exchange with other card that have same rarity.

Master duel is good game i know but some of duel links players don’t find it is good game to spend time on it is just like the pro players only game
we are the anime lovers we just play duel links to chill and enjoy the music / sound / charcters and some easy duels
would love to see thise stream and content again
The less people spend money on Duel link the more Konami has to make the game cheaper to play
they probably won’t care because they want the game to die it’s obvious they don’t want to invest time into DL because they’ve got so much money off that already so they’re moving on to MD they’re trying to kill DL that’s why the bad ban lists and huge amounts of money needing to be spend to get three copies of a card. They want our attention to go to MD now so people spending less money on Duel Links won’t matter because they don’t care as much about it any more we would have to hit both MD and DL
What company in it’s right mind would say no to more money? It’s in their best interest to keep both games up and running especially since, and idk if u noticed or not, but MD isn’t doing as well as it did when it came out. Still pretty good, but they can’t leech on it for long especially since it’s built the way it is.
Most thing they could capitalize on in terms of spending is the missing cards and I doubt it will make such a huge difference in revenue because crafting exists and people who are waiting for these cards will probably craft them anyways, or just throw a bunch of gems getting specific cards then dipping. Konami’s best case scenario is keeping both games alive and well.
Idk how a game company would kill it’s own game in a way Konami is doing. If they wanted DL dead they would’ve just killed it then and there instead of taking whatever route you’re suggesting. Whelming events is not how you kill a game from a company standpoint.

It's currently the only game with with no crafting system and the worst F2P and paying economy in a digital card game If that tells you something.
It's not worth your investment and it's more fun if you spend some money.

i think the way to make the craft system viable to duel links & konami it's to create a pool of boxes, maybe a legacy one and a standard, so, they can put the ... i don't know, maybe the first 25 boxes to the first pool we name "legacy" then just make that pool crafteable from the exceed of cards like we can see in this video. So, with this system they can add the craft system and let the newest boxes obtainable like we already have like new duelist, farm gems, events, etc ...

Konami should implement Crafting System in the Card Trader using the UR and SR stones.
So first convert to youe UR and SR cards from the boxes and then go Craft.
Hopefully they add the master duel system to duel links. Is that even possible?

I hope they attempt to turn this game around, man. Master duel ain't that impressive on mobile from what I've heard. And frankly I don't really consider it a mobile game if I can't stop playing at a moments notice. Which you can't do cause if you actually want to do anything productive with the game then you would be playing ranked.
Master Duel runs fine on my phone now. Initially it didn't run well but after the first update it's very playable. And I'm running a Pixel 2 XL which is pretty old at this point.
The mobile version isn't optimized well, sometimes the game disconnects, frame drops or worse blsckscreen during duel or not. (based on different reviews and my experience)
but it's playable, but for me, I've reached plat 1 and most of the time there will be a chance that the game suddenly freeze or won't let you scroll through card(and effect text box) search in duel and more optimization issues.
The device I'm using is honor 8x which is kinda old now but smoothly runs genshin at medium-high graphics for performance context.

@@dolebiscuit yes it will always vary but this is the mobile market and considering the fact that i can run other resource intensive games smoothly means that they didn't optimized the game well as also based on different playstore reviews.
it seems like the app wasn't optimized for mobile, like they've just port it right away and put a poorly designed graphic settings xd

Some of us for sure are gonna stick with dlinks, i hear ya about how konami makes those boxes a difficult rng experience. main boxes are brutal, , even mini boxes are tough on the wallet. i like this box for sure. Watching you buy these packs made me physically ill thinking about all the money I’ve spent on this game over the years, and all the extra cards I have that do absolutely nothing. I haven’t spent a penny on this game in a while and I won’t spend anything again as this game died a while ago.

Damn I've spent 300$ on master duel and have 10 decks and half of an Endymion deck, which is super expensive so spending 270$ for a few play sets of ur and sr is kinda ridiculous
a least u can make that money u spend it in 2 or 3 days of work , in Brazil the players have to spend half a salary (medium) to get the total of cards of the box . Konami needs to change the , dismantle cards for gems could be one goode option to start

It's not fair to be spending that much on cards even if they're more expensive irl but man I hate what I'm seeing right now, I live in Egypt a third world country a pack is 60 EGP each for irl cards so I never thought about playing or knowing the game since I was a child till I stumbled upon this game and I loved it more than anything, I got to play my favorite anime's game and find a one I can share with my bro who was studying overseas around that time, I remember a time when I got my first kog with one Shein and being extremely f2p I was so happy me and my brother started jumping around like idiots, and most importantly I found your guys' channel through this game, even though I can't seem to find joy playin it anymore I don't want it to die, earlier this year I said goodbye to one of my favorite childhood games Respawnables as they shut it down I don't want to experience that again please save Duel Links Konami
What's the point of adding metaphys support in this box when they utterly crippled it with the Aloof Lupine and Gold Sarc limit 2s?

I would not until we have proper crafting system in duel links. That is if people (not me) considers what duel links has right now as one.
Since master duel came out, I have had so much extra money to go out and do stuff. I didn't realize how much money I was spending on duel links and I don't want to know. It makes me sick. I've spent $40 on MD since it came out and I've got basically everything I want with more than enough gems and cards to build a new deck whenever I want without spending money.
R.I.P Duel Links. It's been a wild adventure.
It’d be cool if you could transfer like 5-10 URs/SRs for one UR/SR dream ticket for whatever box the card came from, it would get some whales playing again to see what new decks they can make by transferring their old dupes

I thought of coming back to duel links to play trains but its not worth the money time or effort and i have the complete deck in master duel so its a bit weird, why should i play an inferior version that costs me more? Just liking the format isnt enough.
