Im gonna look to see if you have done an update so I apologize if you did. But how do you like it? How is the online component?
I have yet to do an update on just this program, but we do like it. We only use the newspaper portion and no other aspect of the program. We had used the online version which I assigned as independent work, then they switched it, and she did not like the new update, so we went back to only using the newspaper.
I have used this company for years.. you might want to know what you have in your package before your video. It is a great product/company and you could have really helped a lot of parents that need this!
I'm sorry if this seemed like a negative review. This was a new curriculum and unboxing for us (which I mentioned in the video). I agree it is a great product and have spoken highly about it in other videos.
I hope my unboxing has brought this curriculum to families attention because I think it could be a great choice for some.
Do you feel the material was enough information? I bought 2 3rd grade social studies schoolbooks and an overwhelmed .
We are only a few weeks in but so far so good. There is more material available on their online platform if you want more, or keep it simple and use just the newspaper 😊
I will do a midyear update and will make sure I include this subject.
We have used this since September and have enjoyed it so far. Then we took a long break for the holidays and came back to find our unit gone. We were using the same exact one you are. Have you noticed any changes or had any problems with yours?

Yes, we are using the digital version. I noticed the layout seems to have changed too.
Yes big changes occured on the digital platform. I did not care much for the changes so we ended up moving to the paper version only.
I wasn't sure if it was only me seeing changes. I don't mind small changes, but to make big changes and then lose your work doesn't seem right. We may more to the paper version too. Thank you for responding so quickly.
Yes, wasn't thrilled to have a complete overhaul midyear. It would have been easier to deal with if we hadn't already built so much in the previous version!
Don't be fooled by the diverse imagery in their materials. Studies Weekly is trying to rewrite history.
It is a good idea to always be reevaluating curriculum that is purchased each year. This curriculum has definitely made some recent rewrites that anyone looking to purchase should review beforehand.
