My mother had a string of pearls, you have to wear them frequently so they don't lose their colours (su oriente en español). Beautiful jewels, no doubt. I love the pendant with the irregular pearl and the double bow broach.

The very poor pronunciation of key words such as Baroque, which the narrator pronounces as 'barrel ' ( a wooden casket) makes this video such poor quality in terms of both production and conveying of accurate information that it should be removed from YT

Guess Marie was really into Pearls. I just can't see her being "O m Gott! I Love Peridots and Citrine!" Queen of France doesn't wear piss colored jewelry...But I dont think she was as fat 'Grabd' as History made her out to be. Especially with her adopted children, two being from Africa. I don't think 'Budget buying' was one of the things her mother the HRE taught her in preparation of being Queen.

That's what she did. She spent a lot on charity, on distributing bread and maintaining houses for the disadvantaged.
But it's not profitable to talk about this, right?
It's much more convenient to lie about her, as all the Robespierres did. They lied that it was her spending that was to blame for the financial problems, although what she spent on herself was a pittance compared to what France spent on America with its independence - billions. And it was the American Revolution that was to blame for France's poverty, not the queen. After all, America did not return ANYTHING to France, although they borrowed. But when did America pay its debts?
