I hope the veiled statue means something in the Final Shape…I don’t want it to be just for decoration or something. 😂
Given we know Clovis used one to stabilize Exo minds, if we don't find out what the statues are supposed to be it will be a pretty big disappointment lore-wise.
I'm pretty sure that this veiled figure has to mean something. They got introduced with shadowkeep and were there for almost every expansion..I think that it is some kind of worshipped figure. I don't know if it is the winnower, but it exists, it MUST.

The lore is the witness went to school with this THICC big tiddy girl who always wore a semi see thru table cloth. Years on year later he's still simping on her and made statues. True story

5:50 what if it wasn't an accident that Nezarec was revived? The Traveler seems very particular about where and when it takes action, so it seems strange that the revival of Nezarec would've been overlooked as a possibility. Plus, it looks a lot like the Traveler's beam of light went directly through Nezarec.

There's no way the Traveler used the beam on the Witness's ship and "accidentally" hit the one Disciple that we were already involved with from Season of Plunder and even before that. Plus, the "key" is facing directly towards the portal. There's no way any of that is coincidence.
@@ChristopherCosta918My guess is that the traveler was teaching us how prismatic works, because the encounters of root of nightmare are all about using light and dark buffs at the same time to make progress.

The Fallen ships always reminds me of Captain Harlock's Arcadia ship, I wonder if the artistic directors got their inspiration from there
there was a time really really early in the planning stages for Destiny when the player characters were more anime styled, like their previous game Oni. I wouldn't rule out anime inspiration, you could be right.

What if the statue is the one "friend" of the witness of the precursor race who escaped/left instead of merging with the rest to create the witness... there are details of "it" he, she or whatever they're race is....

I honestly think pvp in most games are inherent boons to player retention more than regular play would ever be.
It’s true, every time I come back to the game it’s for the pvp, then I get sucked into everything.
Veiled statue was at the Venus raid being worshiped by the dark vex. It was making people crazy And talking to them in the deep stone crypt. It’s also the statue where we first talked to the darkness directly.
Like I said originally, from the pre-released art and all the data mining I could do as well as slowing up the whispers of the darkness… veiled statue is the gardener Who lived inside the traveler and is being pursued by the winnower.
It makes it seem like they were a couple and something split them up and she was either confined to prison, or escaped him and confined herself so the final shape couldn’t happen.
The traveler is just a super big ghost that can draw para causal energy And draw from other dimensions.
I think bungie rewrote it into a mess where the witness takes a lot of of the characteristics of the original winnower, The traveler rather than just being a guardian took on a ton of the characteristics of the gardener…. But then the terrible writers realized there was way too much lore concept art showing how different these primal forces are from a pissed off alien.
Venus raid? Vault of Glass? I don't think so.

@@Spahkitoo many of the OG team left or got kicked out. there was a vision for the story but too many of the people involved now just want to make a game instead of making the best Bungie game of all time.

Just want to point for small discussion but the white or silver colouration on Dissonance is similar to the ruins on the throne world and considering both correlation to the lights effect on these structures. Though it could just be coincidence with aesthetic or logistic reasons for a crucible map

I got attached to that character all the way back to Beyond Light, and have been rooting for her redemption ever since. Glad to know she didn’t see the wrong fate through.

When they introduced the Disciples with Rhulk, i thought that all veiled statue are former Disciples who fused with a pyramid ship as a power source(their faith in the darkness).

There are indeed some ways we could unlock ftl travel, de already know that the planet we lost were "teleported" trought the use of the darkness and lore related To the hive (mostly oryx's son) point out To their ability to "cut trough reality" wich could hint toward ftl travel ,that and all the portals and teleportation we already use

Bungie changes on a whim, but the original story was the gardener was the woman who lived inside the traveler. But it’s in the iconography everywhere and statues the woman with the veil over her head is often worshiped by the dark entities.
I think the veil is actually a prison, and the traveler is a key to unlocking it or something along those lines.
But the woman in the concept art inside the traveler the gardener at some point split from her mate the winnower. He’s been using his pitbull to chase them down ever since.
The pale heart is really her or where she lives….
Then again Nezerec was completely destroyed and was originally supposed to be a bad ass human from the Egyptian days who took a bunch of light wielders on an intergalactic voyage…. instead we got some weird tormentor who is turned into tea.

Almost every prominent female in this game is gay. That’s not a coincidence man, as bungie’s woke writers are in full control of the story. You really think it’s a coincidence that all of a sudden bungie’s vidocs were slathered with far left gender language?
The story has been trashed for a long time now. The great writers that started this game are all gone, and the feminists and activists took their place. We all got called dumb and bigots for pointing out the truth that far left activists took over the game, and now look how far the lore has fallen.
