  • How to Cook Shrimp Laing
    Taro leaves cooked in coconut milk with shrimp.

    2 oz. dried taro leaves
    10 pieces shrimp
    4 cups coconut milk
    3 tablespoons shrimp paste
    1 piece onion, minced
    5 cloves garlic, crushed
    3 thumbs ginger, Julienne
    6 pieces Thai chili pepper
    3 ounces pork fat
    Ground white pepper to taste

      Pareho tayo. I tried cooking this at hindi ko na take ang sobrang pait na lasa ng gabi. Sabi ng friend ko dapat pinapakuluan muna ang dried gabi bago talaga iluto sa gata ng halos 3 hours. I did it and it was really good.

    Hindi pa po ako nakatikim ng shrimp laing na recipe 😁 ! Huhugasan ko lang ang hipon at ilagay sa kumukulong tubig at asin lang ! Tapos babalatan ko pag naluto na at isawsaw sa suka na may sili with rice! Susubukan ko po din yan! Thanks po sa recipe!

      mindheartJamsoul Hi, dun sa Filipino store na pinupuntahan ko ginagamit nila frozen spinach. Nilalagyan lang nila ng hiniwang maliliit na gabi para lasang gabi din. It’s not the same pero pwede na.
