Hi Ben thanks for the video, definitely haven't put much thought into rod tubes but that was helpful. Anyway I had an idea for your beers with Ben at the end of the video and that would be to be to take from Tom Rosenbauer and do a "fly box" Q and A of like 3 or 4 comment questions. I have appreciated that you try to make the beers section more conversational and that's got to be challenging week after week. I know that get bored talking to myself on the river after some time, but I guess I am solving all the worlds problems each time I go fish. Anyway keep up the good work. (Insert fishy closing here like tight lines, keep it buttery, scale you later)
I have a very old Fishpond 3-rod carrier that securely holds 3 4-pc nine foot rods in aluminum tubes, with two exterior pockets that hold reels, complete with a long looping shoulder carry strap and a short handle. Not only am I a badass in airports, I am one very efficient mofo. 😀
I think I checked my phone like 10 times to make sure I didn't hit pause. Also I was just thinking about how you should make a video about rod tubes. Glad you got my telepathic message ✌
I went out to a bay the outher day with a 9wt fly rod and caught a 23.5 inch speckled sea trout, or a spec if your a person of culture. Hope everyone gets on some good fish soon!
Gee, they sure do offer some nice stuff now. My Ol' Gramps stuff I inherited I thought was pretty up town with the cardboard tubes inside hand stitched leather. Lol ! Sure do enjoy our cold snacks together. Be Huge. I've learned plenty. Thx.
I don’t have a Sage 4-piece but I put my Redington’s in a Sage case to look cool in the airport. I like the idea of the cork handle protecting the tip top. Good idea. I have to go somewhere in May but not sure where to hit where the streams aren’t blown out. Maybe the Eastern Sierra or Uinta Basin.
I don’t know if you check messages from older videos, but why avoid two piece rods? I prefer them and won’t purchase a rod with more than three pieces. Four or more piece rods seem to cast clunky to me. Just wondering. Love the videos and appreciate the tips and tricks.
Hi, Interesting video. I'm looking for shorter rod tubes for mutiple rods in 4-5 sections, both spinning and boat rods, but struggle to find any. You have two here that looks interesting. Can you please give me the brand and model names? Thx
This may be a noob question, but when you fly, will airlines give you a hard time about carrying on a 4 pc rod tube? Or are you better off checking a case like Orvis sells?
@@sabiangriffin3713 Yes they do. I have three of their rods. 2 fly and 1 casting. I just never see them used by anyone else locally or see them talked about in any of the popular YT fishing channels. Decent rods for decent prices
Did you actually get a legit tenkara rod instead of the overgrown pool cue you used in the “cane pole” video? You might actually enjoy fishing with it. STAY HUGE
Holy sh*t, are we getting desperate for content? I apologize in advance, but if you can figure out how your “fly pole” goes in your rod tube, then maybe you should stick to shapes & colors, and leave the big boy stuff to us professionals.
Ben, your Hugeness. I have grabbed myself a beverage(s) and saw your new boat vid and wanted to show you some thing that may be of interest to you for that sick tornado anchor. It's a pulley block that prevents your anchor rope from twisting on it's self. Been using for 5 years and dig the scat out of it. www.zigcollc.com/pulley check it my man. See you on the C.
"Just got skunked, now I'm gonna put my rod away and have a beer". That hit me hard lol
I felt attacked
You made the 8 minutes! Best part was the HUGE logo for about an entire minute at the end.
Liked this video because I am in fact watching on the clock at work.
Never in a million years would I have thought I'd be watching a youtube video about fly rod tubes... yet here I am. Subscribed.

"Grab yourself a beverage"....Its 7 am - Dammit I'm in!
Don’t forget, you can always throw out the Tenkara rod and reuse the rod tube. 😉
I usually just throw all my rods in pieces in my trunk . 10/10 can’t wait to try these techniques .

Every time you start a vid that why I find myself at 8 on Monday morning seriously contemplating cracking a beer
I watched this video while my co-workers were sharing a presentation displaying their pets.
Thank you for being there for me.

It's cute that you pre lift your beer can tab so we don't see you struggle to crack your beer.
Details.
Can't be a big time youtuber without people pointing out details. #itgotaresponse
I don't even drink and I enjoy the beer at the end... Stay Huge..er!

No matter what the video--I'm up for the beer at the end!! Well done!!
Western NY Steelies are basically done the hendricksons are hatching and we just got 3 inches of snow.

Winds are low in my area tomorrow and I’m taking my new SUP out to the marsh tomorrow!! Super stoked
Ah bringing back the cane pole jokes. Also good job on F3T!
never thought of the triangle tube. hate when they roll in my truck. 8 mins like a boss.
Sweet catch at forty four seconds into the video!
I didn't learn a damn thing, but I got to watch a video on the clock and that's all that really matters.
Hey what are good fishing podcast listen to all hank patterson stuff can't really get into the orvis podcast any suggestions
Hey Huge, what is the fiberglass rod? Is it good for you?
This may be a noob question, but when you fly, will airlines give you a hard time about carrying on a 4 pc rod tube? Or are you better off checking a case like Orvis sells?

Did watch this on the clock at work, just fyi

Do you ever make your own rod tubes with ABS piping?
you should add the Simms Gulper Tube kinda looks like a rod holder
Another huge video
My main rod is a glass wonder rod 3 wt. Only a 2 piece, probably cuz it's ancient, but she catches me quite a few.
Not sure where everyone gets these you can't have a drink or beer before a certain time. Stop limiting yourselves!
Marty at Deep Bend is the man.
Coffee! ☕️
Ben!!! Where are the long sleeve hoodie shirts?!?!
Any updates on the hoodie shirts? (not the plastic feeling ones)
Hopefully available this week.
Can you do a video on different types of fly boxes
Eight minutes between beers? You could find a rod tube with the right inside diameter and use it as a beer dispenser.
Happy Huge Day everyone!
Today's not Sunday?
I HEARD THAT! THAT WAS HUGE!
To early for beer...damnit....
"How important is this? probably not very important at all..." (after making it seem very important).
I in fact did watch this while working and getting paid for it. How did you know?
Let's see some Atlantic salmon fishing
What did you name the boat and why did you name it Yeah, Buoy!
Do you ever drink good/actual beer?
Yep..I’m at work
🤙
Is that a St Croix tube? I thought I was their only customer, lol.
Saint Croix's got some good shit man

I thought we NEVER call it a pole...it is only a rod!
I had a dream last night where I told you you looked like ewan mcgregor. I don't know what that means, please advise.
Did you actually get a legit tenkara rod instead of the overgrown pool cue you used in the “cane pole” video? You might actually enjoy fishing with it.
STAY HUGE
It’s from TenkaraUSA and it’s the same one I used to float shiners under a bobber. Like you said, overgrown pool cue.
@@HugeFlyFisherman 😂😂😂 May this friendly banter help your algorithm.
Also let’s go tenkara-ing sometime. I promise it will be fun
mine is technically a tod rube
I caught a mirror carp. Kept it wet and released it without snapping for the gram. Who needs a yeti anyhow
Dude, both of those not a big deal are important.
My tenkara rod tube fits in the pocket of my float tube....
A rod tube by the bedside makes a swift self defense stick. Two make nunchucks. 🤙🏼
Is the guy at 0:36 Jason Statham?
What do you do with your EXTRA rod tubes???!
" . . Musta been a Tenkara rod, throw that one in the trash . ." Haha, classic.
tube rods
NEED A VIDEO ON BELCH (ERUCTATION) ETIQUETTE PLEASE! REMAIN HUGE!
Did I miss an earlier video or rant? Why "never buy a two-piece rod"?
day drinking with ben again...
Tubular video duuuude.
Buschhhhhhhhhhhhh
Gonna drink a lacroix does that count
whats the point of having kids if they cant row for you.
Carp about to open up then pike, then bass. About to take some time off work.
I didn't watch the commercials. Sorry, but when the commercial is pretty much touting unschooling, I'm hittin' that skip button
Holy sh*t, are we getting desperate for content? I apologize in advance, but if you can figure out how your “fly pole” goes in your rod tube, then maybe you should stick to shapes & colors, and leave the big boy stuff to us professionals.
*can’t
Quality of your videos has definitely went downhill...get back to fishing please 🥺
Eat shit, James. I’m doing the best I can.
There’s this cool button that says unsubscribe on it
Quality of your English grammar needs work.

I had a conversation about this product last week.
