I made one for my boyfriend for Valentine's day and he loved it!! it had everyone in my family practically begging me for one! I also love how it's so easy. I'll be making more in the future! 😊 Thanks!
Great pattern and very easy to follow. However…I did not measure or count, or sew well and the result is absolutely hilarious. I only wish I could share a picture of my ‘owl’ here, I haven’t laughed that hard in ages. Thank you for your awesome videos.
Thank you for spending so much of your time and effort to put this up! I just made my own and it's so adorable. I can't find any other loom knitting channel like yours. thank you! ♡♡♡ also can you make more of these stuffed animals?? there so cute!!
Thank you for the video. I am new to loom knitting and this is my 1st non hat project. I appreciate the work put into it. As a newbie, I had problems with switching colors, it left gaps, I felt like maybe a detail was missing as I am not sure why it kept happening, so I ended up cutting and tying. Attaching the wings also seemed to leave out details as well. My end result didn't turn out as nicely as the example, but I am still proud of completing this project as I made it for my 18 month old. He loves owls. Thanks again!
Thank you for your feedback Emily! We'll try to give more details on this kind of things in the upcoming projects. So glad to know you made one for your son ^_^
I know this is just too forward to say,but I am going to say it anyways. I love you. Lol. Oh w"owl"!!!! can't wait to try this. I have fallen in love with owls over the summer. And I see them everywhere at work with fabrics. I am hopped up on eagerness, now. Thank you. You are the best.
Wow ! Wow! Wow ! I loved how you had done your Owel , thank you for being so dedicated in how you took your time and showed us how to make this owel , so cute , I am so excited to make one , . . When I was watching I thought of fall and pumpkins with this , even tho it is just January, . Do you also make squirrels or can u show us how to make a cute one? Also . Thanks again
Bonjour waouuu j'adore 💕 trop mimiii 💖. Je viens d'avoir un tricotin. 😊 Est je vais essayer de faire se magnifiques hiboux 🦉. Très très bien espliquer. Pour les débutants comme moi.. Merciiii à vous. 🥰
I have watched a lot of your videos and have so far found them to be the easiest to follow I made one of your little kitties and gave it to someone since then I have been asked if I could make more. I was wondering if I would be able to sell these kitties - just the kitties not the actual patterns. I am in the UK. I would love to hear from you
I need to make smaller size owls for children’s hospital. Do you have same pattern only using smaller size looms and #4 yarn. This has been a request from the hospital. Anxiously awaiting your answer. Love all your videos.
I love it! Do you have any recommendations for storing this project or knitting projects in general? I want it to be a surprise for my sister at my nephew's baby shower, but my projects always get fuzzy no matter where I put them. It looks so nice right now! How can I hide it but keep it this way? Thank you so much!
This is so cute! I love the colours, but it is so big! When I started I thought that it would be about 25cm tall but it is so much bigger...Also, this is a very clear tutorial compared to others. Finally, my paintbox wool seems to be to fine/thin. What brand is yours?
Super cute! But i still have a question. How did you attach the wings? Did you nit them around the wing or make them together on the other together with a knot of the two strings you had over on the, so it goes nowhere? I hope you understand my question... English is not my first language.
+Jennifer Miller +Stephanie van der G. yes, we first tied the 2 pieces of yarn on the inside, to hold the "wing" against the "body". After that, we sew across the top (in the same way we sew the eye to the body)... but we didn't show that on the video, sorry
I have a question. I am planning to learn loom knitting because regular knitting doesn't come easy to me. I just wanna know if learning to loom knit makes learning to crochet and knit with needles easier
The pegs on r loom appear closer together then the space between the looms that perchased @ Walmart. Which made my Owl look different. Where can I buy this tight spaced loom?
leo84881 I KNOW! I had the hardest time with this! I didn’t know it was knit purl knit purl change color and do it again. Soo did the whole body without purling and realized it afterwards.. I don’t want to start over
I’m so upset with myself.. I finished the whole blue and white part of the body without purling because I only read, “do two rounds of white then blue and keep doing it until 22cm”.. I didn’t realize you had to do round...purl..round...purl in each color... I was almost done.. I don’t want to restart. Idk what to do!
Don't worry, you can work the whole body only with knit stitches. But you better alternate rows of knits and rows of purls while working the wings (otherwise they will curl).
Malia Muniz I had to restart because it didn’t look right at all at the end. The , “loops/holes” were too spaced out so if you put the cotton filling inside you will end up seeing it pole out of the holes.
Restarting the body again.. idk what I’m doing wrong but as I get farther into it I’m realizing the spots where I changed colors are looking weird and not watching the pattern of the rest of the body. I’m doing exactly what the video shows and putting it to the side and switching back and forth :(
Did anyone else notice that age switches to a 36 loom without letting us know? I noticed the color was different and counted the prongs when she wrapped them
she sells many patterns very inexpensively on etsy. I personally watch the video in full the first time writing the pattern by pausing, etc. I LOVE her videos, she is awesome!

Thanks and keep doing what your doing!

Just started today and got both wings done!! Can’t wait to continue! Thank you so much for the video!
Edit: did the eyes today! Will start the body tomorrow :)
This is really awesome! I'll attempt a Hedwig version (from Harry Potter) and I think it'll be even easier because less color changes.
I would love to see! I will do smaller versions for nursery donations
That is adorable. I can't wait to make a couple for Christmas gifts.
He is so adorable. I love him. Thank you for making this video.

What thickness of wool do you use? Going to get supplies tomorrow as I'm going to make this for my niece for Christmas x
I love your videos. So easy to follow, thank you for that 😃. Do you have anymore loom knit animal videos/patterns?
her channel has a toy section of videos

Love your site for loom knitting. I have looked everywhere for a loom dinasour.
Can you make one? Please?
Love this! Will you be doing any other animals? I have made the octopus & bunny a couple of times.
Love your work... Could you please make video on how to make donut keychain??
Cool I love ur videos! Jesus Loves All Of You!!! :)
lindo.
+Rita Cassia muchas gracias :)
Super cute! But i still have a question. How did you attach the wings? Did you nit them around the wing or make them together on the other together with a knot of the two strings you had over on the, so it goes nowhere? I hope you understand my question... English is not my first language.
It looked like maybe she just tied the two pieces of yarn together on the inside. But I would probably sew across the top of the wings to keep secure.
+Jennifer Miller +Stephanie van der G. yes, we first tied the 2 pieces of yarn on the inside, to hold the "wing" against the "body". After that, we sew across the top (in the same way we sew the eye to the body)... but we didn't show that on the video, sorry
+Tuteate Aah thnx, no problem i'm happy that i asked my question and know the answer now. I will make one too, its so cute! :D
+Jennifer Miller Haha you were right, thanks for the answer! :)
Stephanie van der G.
can you please tell me what size yarn to use? these are simply adorable and I want to make one this weekend

wow
what brand of yarn are you using. I love the look of it!!!
Can you please give us a link to the pattern?
great video:) what kind of yarn did you use?
When you do the body, 2 rows. Do you mean knit, purl, knit & purl? Or Knit & Purl then start on the next color?
leo84881 I KNOW! I had the hardest time with this! I didn’t know it was knit purl knit purl change color and do it again. Soo did the whole body without purling and realized it afterwards.. I don’t want to start over
question, the yarn I have is size 4 do I have to use diffrent yarn.. should I double it?
when you say 7 cm and that you did 8 rows is this inicluding the cast on row ?
I’m so upset with myself.. I finished the whole blue and white part of the body without purling because I only read, “do two rounds of white then blue and keep doing it until 22cm”.. I didn’t realize you had to do round...purl..round...purl in each color... I was almost done.. I don’t want to restart. Idk what to do!
Don't worry, you can work the whole body only with knit stitches. But you better alternate rows of knits and rows of purls while working the wings (otherwise they will curl).
I made the same mistake and just realized it! Did you continue the same as before or did you start over?
Malia Muniz I had to restart because it didn’t look right at all at the end. The , “loops/holes” were too spaced out so if you put the cotton filling inside you will end up seeing it pole out of the holes.

Give the link to buy same machine for knitting.. Plzz
Can you please make a dragon with wings? Nobody out there has any good ones! Thanks!
I was just wondering Iwan to make a really small owl how many pegs would I cast on for the wings
nicky mitchell
Have a 36 round loom and I have a 30 loom can that work.
Okay so I don't know what to do. Every time I try to do a wing in the end it falls apart. What can I do to help fix this?
You need to remember to pull the wool tighter when you knit it on the loom. Also, so the edge more times so it won't fray.
I have a question what does working two pairs around mean I am a little confused can someone helped me to understand it?
Erin Seidemann it mean one knit one perl ❤️
Did anyone else notice that age switches to a 36 loom without letting us know?
I noticed the color was different and counted the prongs when she wrapped them
Can you make more stuffed animals?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰
how many rows is the owls body total?
p.s where r the dresses for the dolls, thanks Tracy.
Could you tell me the pattern for this please. I find it easier to read a pattern as well as watch the video. Thanks
she sells many patterns very inexpensively on etsy. I personally watch the video in full the first time writing the pattern by pausing, etc. I LOVE her videos, she is awesome!
I was wondering what weight yarn like a 5 I am using a 4
Timothy Nevins did you ever find out what weight of yarn to use?
what kind of yarn do you use.?
what do you you mean wen you say work 2 pairs in rounds
I have the same question
Does it have 2 b thick wool xx
can i use a rainbow loom
Can you tell me what size the second look is I think I missed it
Should say loom
Janie Clemens it's a 36 peg loom
could you show us how to loom knit an animal lovie?

Thank you!! I made it already and I love it! I used a 5 because that’s what I had. Would love to see more videos of loom knit toys or characters.
