Always a good idea to make sure the fill plug is going to come out OK before draining the oil. You don't want to be stuck with no oil in and can't get new oil in.
The only wrong thing in this video is when he says " fill up until oil comes out". There is no deep stick or a level mark that say when is enough so you only have to poor 2 litres of 75w80 gl-4 fluid gear. For the rest great video it helps me a lot.
Turns out some C3 (at least the one I got working on) don't have that oil fill plug. Instead you get a plugged hole with no removable nut on it where the oil fill plug should be. That means you have to do it the "proper" way of draining completely and getting the right amount in via the breather port. Accessing that breather port is super easy, you have to remove the air filter box and you get direct access, which actually makes the filling part painless as well. Still it's bothersome to not be able to check the fluid level directly. As for those that tell not to use the oil fill plug: why? There are various manufacturer diagrams that clearly identify it as an oil fill plug. Why would it be there if it's not an oil fill plug? Does it give the wrong level? Or is there another reason not to use it?
That isn't the level bung, that is over filling the box with oil, they take 2 litres and should be filled through the breather port at the top of the box
