    Hello Chazz
    I have a MK4 09 Estate and I do my own work with it too can I have dome to fuel injectors with remanufactured ones working good so far after almost a year, i the way i have done them not quite the way you have done them, (i did not unplug the battery or remove fuel pipes for the pump and unplug the fuel pump cable or the injector wire harness neither) all you really need to do is take off the injector plugs and leak off pipes from the injector, unbolt the fuel in pipes enough so you can get the injectors out then that's that.
    i have to say I am glad you are helping the community with your videos
    One thing which is very important to mention is that make sure the copper washers come with the old injectors or you are going to have a big problem and make sure to buy OEM leak off pipe washer or o-rings because you may brake the old ones, I have replace all four injectors and the washers too when needed not all at once. that's that really.
    I am not having a go just tips and additional advice from first hand experience at the same engine
    Thanks

    Thank you for the exchange guide, it was very helpful. As far as the mechanical part. I am about to change the injectors as well, but this time I'll buy new injectors. I do hope it will improve my engine's running good.

    I have just bought one of these cars. I have just learned they have a wet belt as well as a cambelt. Have you changed your wet belt s or had any trouble?

    Did you need to code these in, mine is injector no 3 went into limp mode as it was stuck open, put half a litre of two stroke oil into a tank of diesel which freed it luckily

    The pipe that you couldn’t get past is just a breather just file enough of the bottom edge to remove injector….just at the bottom 👍🏼

      Done the wet belt to chain conversion on mine. With a water pump and coolant flushing, it took me most of the weekend, but it was well worth it.

      @@bartoszk4812 is the engine louder? Like more noise or anything?

      @bartoszk4812 Рік тому +1

      @sheffielduk3428 Now that you mentioned it, I remember that it was louder from around chain area, but I only noticed it with the bonnet open, having my head close to that side of the engine.
      We have two Focuses with those engines, both retrofitted with chains by me, and we haven't noticed that they were louder afterwrds in everyday use. They are not very quiet engines.
      I used to have Mazda 6 with MZRCD 2.2 diesel engine, and sometimes I looked at the dash to make sure it started 🤣

    Only plug and play? Not necesary coding?🤯

    • @KJanar
      @KJanar 2 роки тому +1

      Unless the Mk4 is reading the injector codes automatically somehow then you should code them. That's the case for mk3 atleast. The codes I think determine the performance of the injectors so anytime they are rebuilt, become of age or get damage the pressure and flow value change and the engine runs bad. So for all those occasions you need to bench test them, get new codes and reprogram.

    • @ChazzCoombes
      @ChazzCoombes  2 роки тому +3

      Been advised that these did not need to be coded, the car so far runs fine. Will keep an eye and see how it goes. Bit so far so good

      thanks for the explanation. I think I should change them because in the mornings when I start driving in low gears it seems to suddenly turn off. It only lasts 2 or 3 minutes, then it works perfectly. I put 4 new heaters but nothing, 0 faults in diagnosis
