so you do or do not need to plug in your backup camera? (I have an upgraded factory backup camera - that uses the original cables). The backup camera works when I put in in reverse but if I manually choose the backup camera, it does not work.
Everything works fine on the unit but it will not snap into place in the dash. Either the bottom clips snap in or the top ones do. Once I push the clips in one one end, the opposite end pushes out. Same thing happens if I try to attach right side or left side first.
@sargenthp I'm not getting sound from the screen to my truck, I can bluetooth to intellilink and play music but when bluetoothed to the tablet I'm not getting sound from the tablet to my truck
@@pipeliner0346Do you have the little aux cord plugged in? Have you tried going to the "Console" and try changing the input to AUX from there? CD player is still installed, right?
@sargenthp yeah cd player is still installed, are you talking about the little pig tail? I tried plugging it in and it didn't work. I'll have to try to go to the setting and change the input to aux

This video is incorrect. The white RCA cable should be plugged in the top middle and the yellowish in the top right (looking from the back). I had the same issue.
The radio works and I hear the radio fine, but the volume doesn't work. I can't raise the volume or lower the volume. The backup camera does not work either. The camera is the original that the truck brings. I'm not adding anything. Just connecting the cables that the radio came with.

That would only work if you have a 3rd party camera, or figure out how to send power to the factory cam.

Factory back up camera not working any fix
Same. Followed instructions to change video format, still not working.
Most of the time console app works but after a while is fluctuates and freezes, touch and sound works, but screen is frozen.
We are having the same sound issue. We plugged in the AUX adapter, too, as someone mentioned earlier, didn't work.
Swap the white and yellowish connectors around. The video is incorrect.
