The first season starts off as hinata versing the opposing team including kageyama, kageyama realises hinata is a great spiker and can jump very high. They start fighting but when they meet karasuno high they changed and started working together to become the dynamic volleyball duo!

Here’s the problem with sports anime at least for me: you watch it then you want to play it and then every video you see all you think about is the characters 😩😩😩
But when you also watch the videos you realize this some real shit and you can’t just learn overnight. Sports animes really make you wanna do this you’ve never done!

I'm a Volleyball casual, so I only play with family and friends. But man do I love playing like a libero. Diving and running to save the ball is my favorite feeling in the game. I'm pretty short so I can't even spike, but I'd still love running and diving more than spiking anyways

When your body is that low its better to forcibly dive and have control than have a chance at losing balance and injuring yourself or other.
Its not necessary for the ball save but sometimes its necessary for the situation
as adam already said, rolling is the best way to land a dive. it makes it easier to get back on your feet and prevents you and your teammates from possible injuries. even if it’s not necessary in the situation, when practicing, rolling is a great thing to do to make it muscle memory in situations where it is necessary.
I love Noya 🥺 I’m also a Libero at my school so I guess that’s one of the reasons I love him so much

as a setter, i have some high respect for liberos. it takes a lot just being able to dig a hit going at high speeds that you have to hussle for. plus it takes a very tough mental fortitude.
