You’d be right. The good ones always have a story. It’s actually on long term loan from a good friend who didn’t have a use for it any more. At some point it’ll find its way back but not quite yet. It’s a sweet little motor. Thanks for watching!
Another nice video i had an old motor like that on my boat ran like a top almost better thanthe new ones always started and would run for hours.question how can you lose the board on a small boat 😂 stick baits are always good .i troll blade baits to youever troll them off planer board
I caught 4 and lost 2 fishing off shore with crank baits in all reality I don’t even have to use my boat if I don’t want to but I am teaching my son every thing to do to be successful on the big pond so he can know what to do once I. Retire from fishing .
If you’re talking about that little Honda you can check some of the local marine repair shops. They usually have a handful of small motors on hand or can watch for one. Also seen quite a few on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist over the years.
Seems a little noisy, but for convenience and simplicity, if I can find a good deal , it would save me the worry of my electric trolling motor losing charge in 4 to 5 hrs😢
Great Job on the Feesch guys! Fish the western basin Lk Erie. Deepest we get in 30fow. I would move the rod holders further forward on the boat to make it easier to land the fish. Here is a video I shot solo fishing during Covid. ua-cam.com/video/YpeWo7TiSEQ/v-deo.html I have upgraded the boat to a 1875 ft Impact and put a 9,9 Suzuki which so much quieter. Didn't plan on upgrading but got rear ended towing the boat on the way to fish. Make sure you have good insurance.
Stickbait Limit 👍👍😁 you guys are always on them
That was quite a morning! That stickbait bite is so cool.
Good morning from Cleveland I have been following your channel thanks for sharing
Welcome! Hope you enjoy the videos.
I'm guessing that little Honda kicker has some real sentimental value for you. It just keeps purring along.....sweet!!
Nice video!

Nice to work the stickbaits and figure them out. Good limit. Winds have not been cooperative much the last few weeks. Good luck guys!
Thanks! Tough conditions lately for sure hopefully we can get on some fish next weekend.

One of us is constantly setting it down in a new place. Hahahaha! Gotta give the blade baits a try that sounds wild.

Sounds like a great time on the water!
Where would be a good place around here, to pick that little trolling motor that you have, any thoughts??

It’s helpful when we’re trying to troll a little faster like with the stickbaits. Just be sure to get a long shaft.
Enjoying the videos! Are you guys running mono? If so, what pound test line? How far do you place the snap weight from the stick bait? Thanks!
Glad to hear that! Thank you! We are running a mainline that is 12 pound mono and we snap the weight on 50’ in front of the lure. Hope that helps.
Do you run a fluorocarbon leader? What brand mono? Thanks.
@@michaelprentice9779the mainline is Berkley Trilene Big Game and the leader is Berkley Trilene XL Smooth Casting. We don’t run floro.
I AM LOOKING AT YOUR SCREEN WERE YOU TROLLING THOSE STICKS A T 2.30 MPH?
Yup.
Do you run your electric trolling motor at same time? To steer the boat? Thanks
Yes, the bow mount electric is steering while the Honda is pushing.
Just wanted to know the distance from clip weight to lure?
We use 50’ between the weight and the lure.
WHEN DO YOU GUYS NORMALLY SWITCH FROM WORM HARNESSES TO STICKBAITS????
For us it’s beginning of August but many use only stickbaits all year with changes to the action depending on time of the year.

Thanks! And we’re rethinking the rod placement like you describe. We will see what next season brings. Might be an upgrade in our future as well.
Trolling motor is so distracting , I had to turn off the video . WTF 😅
Sorry about that. It’s the best we can do :) catch you on the next one.
PUT IN EARPLUGS DUDE!! DUH!!!
