You mentioning speed and then slow songs having melody.
Megadeth has a ton of melody, even more so than Metallica does.
It's the small nuances and melody beneath the "visible part" of the songs that make the songs so great.
About the drumming. Lars can't even tune Gar Samuelson's kit, let alone play it or try to play like him. He was just a one of a kind drummer.
who cares who has the most melodies exactly ? does that really matter?
@@jeremy9951 : Agree!
Major respect to Metallica, but I’m a Megadeth guy and always have been 🤟🏻
Hell yeah 🤘
I can agree for the same respect for Megadeth but have been pulled to Mettalica 🤟🤟
I’m a Megadeth girl too, Sistah. The speed gets my blood pumping. Metallica is cool, but Megadeth just does it for me.
Yaaasss! I'm not alone! Hi, beautiful! :D ♥
fucking right
@@HalfLifeSistah
HalfLifeSistah - I love that you enjoy Megadeth. I’ve been a fan since ‘85 - just ignore that Metallica fanboy next to you lol - Megadeth won the war.
Dystopia is epic and puts Hardwired to shame.
Says the Megadeth fanboy ? Man I won't judge you at all from one comment, but you must be at least 40 years old but still that comment reflects a stupidity that is beyond this universe, imho. I hope I'm wrong to think that.
The irony that when Metallica play TFH live, they always skip the good parts in the middle, basically making it back to The Mechanix again.
I'm sure the reason they don't play the middle section is because it's just Sweet Home Alabama haha
Yeah there's a cool video where Dave says Lars told him to slow the song down so to mess with him he played Sweet Home Alabama in the middle and Lars loved it.
why they skip that solo?
It's giving respect to Dave, just that😊
Thrash Metal is my favorite music, and I love both Megadeth and Metallica. And Megadeth's songs connect to my "frequency" like nothing else
The speed, the progressions, the timing changes, the riffs, the melodies... They are unique in an eccentric way!
Dave's music must come from another dimension..
😈✨✨
You can say, that Megadeth is progressive Thrash Metal.
Well said
Dave Wrote the Riff so technically he wins cause without Dave there is No Four Horseman .
Obviously, but this doesn't mean that people can't prefer The Four Horsemen to Mechanix.
Jérémy Dave and Both versions win and the listener Wins .
@@danielcastro7104 four horsemen is far Superior to mechanix
poop head Agree to disagree as a guitarist on 23 years I’d much rather play Mechanix on guitar, To each their own if you know about opinions .
Metallica has always been mediocre to me and I cannot stand Kirks sloppy playing .
Dave and Jeff Hanneman are some of my favorites to play there shit .
It shouldn’t affect the preference of people because Dave wrote the riff you know
Keep in mind...this is still by and large mostly Dave's song. That being said, I like Metallica's lyrics better but I prefer Megadeth's overall sound and speed
I do like the slow part in "The Four Horseman and the solo Kirk played in that section. We all know Mustaine wrote the main riff and is a pioneer behind the some sick soloing using the amazing hammer and pull-off stretches. Dave Mustaine was shredding way back then. A Metal icon indeed.
He "wrote" the slow part too, he said in interviews that he just randomly played that riff from a lynyrd skynyrd song during a jam, that being said I also do prefer the metallica version because of the lyrics and the slower pace overral
@@MiloTheWizardI am aware of that, but Kirk wrote the Guitar Solo played during that part. I read in an interview that he wanted to play something slow for a change because at that time everything on that album was super fast.
I like Metallica but Megadeth has a harder edge with their songs
Heather Hallacy i like both alot
I like them both but Dave makes Metallica go for the ditch in my opinion but that's just me 💀
I think it should really be dave and david vs mettalica. So many line changes and Megadeth is just dave and whoever he's playing with that decade.
"There are two ways you can hear this next song, there's our way and there's their way, for those of you who think this is their way, this song is called The Mechanix". DAVE MUSTAINE
Lars probably wanted it slower because he couldnt play it the way Dave wanted.
The difference that each version makes is that one became an icon, Metallica's. That's why it is more digestible and longer, with more long solos, one that has the flavor of Dave and another the flavor of Kirk. Simplemente el TFHSb Is exceptional.
Tornado of Souls! Sistah you’ll love it.

Do good mourning black friday next.
Also keep the intros long as you want. They give a proper history to what shes going to hear
Tomorrow is Black Friday...
She's gotta hear Tornado of Souls!
overrated
Kasperr
Neither are overrated. They both deserve 100% of the praise they get.
Emperor Alvis yes
eneidvaddeu agree, almost as overrated as Metallica as a whole. I guarantee neither hetfield or Hammett cannot play Tornado of soul solo without mistakes.
For me it's the Four Horsemen all day, but IMHO it's not a real fair comparison simply due to the fact that one is much faster and shorter and thrashier than the other (even though they are basically the same general songs). I think it just depends on your preference. Dave's version definitely has more of that punk/thrash vibe going whereas Metallica's version is a much more refined masterpiece, let alone much longer and has more solos. It's sort of like comparing a Mercedes to a Dodge IMHO.
True, and Dave has a lot of punk (especially Sex Pistols) influences musically and lyricslly
This was great! Though I’m more of a Megadeth fan I like the four horsemen more. Another one to do a VS on would be Megadeth’s Hangar 18 and Metallica’s The Call of the Ktulu. They both have a riff that Dave wrote. The opening riff to hangar 18 is the same one in the opening riff in Ktulu and later repeated in the same song. She will go absolutely ape shit over hangar 18. Brace yourself!!!! Better have that bucket of ice nearby. 🤘🏻🤯
Hi, Sunshine! I'm glad you enjoyed this reaction :D
I'm afraid to listen to Hanger 18 :-O ♥
Yea alot of riffs and maybe songs got ripped off from Dave. When Lars, James got stupid, money hungry after getting contract, money, fame, legal counsel available on first contract.
Dave wrote a lot on the first album and a couple on the second.
The Meltdownz 4 songs I believe on kill em all. 2 on Ride the Lightning
troy baker
There was also one on Master Of Puppets. Leper Messiah.
Plain n simple, Dave Mustaine is a song writing legend, waiting very patiently for Good Mourning/Black Friday
I love that she picked Megadeth! That’s the spirit! Mechanix is 150 miles an hour for the whole song. There is something to be said for sheer adrenaline!
@Wolfkain: Song by Anthrax is called "Metal thrashing mad" on their first album "Fistful of metal".
Thanks! Had a brain fart there lol 🤷♂️
Mechanix existed before Four Horsemen ...
Alan Gregg How when Kill Em All was releases in 1982 and Mechanix was released in 1985?
Alan Gregg Also Megadeths album which the song appeared started production in 1985 so there's no way that song was released before The Four Horsemen
Ethan Cano mechanix was a song dave had in his band panic, which was years before metallica
@@acecano1113 mechanix was in Daves first band "panic".
Metallica performed mechanix live before he got the boot.
Dave wins either way, they are both his songs

Oh yeah! I’m on your wife’s side here dood 🤘🏻😄 Megadeth all day everyday! It’s got to be the Jazz flavour Megadeth has fused in that sped up.. Real music enthusiasts for Megadeth.
While I will always give Lars his due as a solid recording drummer... Dave did have a much better drummer for his first and second outing. You can't go past using a Jazz drummer when speed and technical ability are required and Dave made a fantastic musical choice when he hired Gar Samuelson!
You guys definitely make the best reactions videos.....really really!!
Oh wow. Just found your reaction videos and now I'll be lucky if I do anything else for the next few days. Thanks for sharing your passion for music!
🤗
That was a sweet comment! Thank you and enjoy!😃🤗😘💖✊🏾🤘🏾
Not really fair considering that Dave was not allowed to use a lot of material due to legal conditions. Mecanix was a weaker song...still love it though. Most of the lead guitar riffs were Dave's on the first Metallica albums. Rhythm was written by James. I only like the 80s Metallica albums, straight thrash. Kirk is still one of the greatest guitarists around and was the first to contact Dave to heal the rift between the two bands.
I love Metallica. Spent endless hours in my preteen years learning guitar and mastered Metallica. I moved up to Megadeth and fell in love. Giving me hand cramps and twisted fingers.
Speaking of similarities >>> My Last Words from Megadeth or Hangar 18 vs Call of the Ktulu (also involving Dave Mustaine)
Please keep up the great reaction videos :)
Love youre channel!! You’re chemistry together!!! Youre open minded comments. Keep up the good work. 👍👍 Thanks.

The explanation of the two songs and the history before the reaction is spot on! Great video, guys!
"you're thrashing all around" is a line in Metallica's song Whiplash. Probably written in 1982... maybe.
both are great. I liked the four horsemen solo best but the speed, aggression, and adrenaline filled mayhem of the mechenix makes it the best for me
I'm no Metallica guy nor Megadeth guy. I like both bands equally. lol I wonder what that makes me 🤔

I love this video so much I could pee. This is a GREAT back-and-forth between these two great songs. You both had a bias towards your favorites, and you were both 100% correct. This was amazing to watch & listen to.
Thank you, sugah😃🤗💖✊🏾🤘🏾
You got a new subscriber here! I love you guys!
Both are great, Dave's is more raw but I love the lyrics to Metallica's. So for me they are both great, a tie.
okay but you left out that Dave Mustaine had no family, and he saw Metallica as his BROTHERS... "brothers" who didn't even have the NERVE to say, "Hey man, you are gonna need to get some help with the drinking or we can't keep you in the band" and offer him some support/help. just woke him up one morning, kicked him out and sent him packing. no explanation. also, "Brothers'', who when Cliff Burton died, did not even have the DECENCY, (as Cliff passed not long after Dave got kicked out) ... to CALL HIM, even out of respect of the relationship they all had at one point and SHARE with him the bad news, while THEY had each other for support. No, Dave found out from a 'music Journalist' that one of the guys he saw as a *Brother* was just violently killed, and not one member of Metallica ever even contacted him. NOW, do you see why it led to such a dark, bitter, angry place for Dave Mustaine??? oh, and just so you know... it was DAVE, who first came to a place in his life and reached out to Lars to tell him that he FORGAVE HIM for everything.
Yea I said they did him dirty, but revenge is toxic and eats away your spirit. Thanks for adding the family part because even though they were only together for a couple of years, at that age it would seem like a long time. Dave would have benefited from a better support system but Lars and James had too many issues of their own.
Sorry but it was Dave's own fault.
@@cavemanbricklayer4008 mustaine buried his own career with metallica
@@cavemanbricklayer4008 I don't give a fuck about some lame urban legends
sure it was all his fault, i mean Dave was a mess of a drunk right?? well then WHY didn't they throw out *James Hetfield* when he became a 'raging drunk addicted to pills'??? did they wake him up, kick him out without an explanation and get a new singer? oh noooooooo..... they saw him through rehab and all supported him to a full recovery... awwwww how nice of them. what is that? oh they were famous then and needed James signature voice? sure sure, or was it that they were 'in the money' now and had to get their 'cash cow' mended?? @Wolfkain, i do understand that they were much younger and less mature, but for crying out loud even THEY have come clean and said it was a horrible way to treat Dave. i think pretty much anyone his position would have developed quite a bit of a major sore spot there.
My favourite YT couple doing a long overdue 'vs reaction' of these two songs. Was ace to see your reactions. ☺👍

Hi, Jooohhnn! ^_^/// Thank you, Sunshine! 😀 I appreciate you🤗😘😘💖🙆🏾♀️
You're both very welcome! Great when Wolfkain gives you a run down of the history of the bands, songs, albums etc...
He is giving you an history lesson in the evolution of one of the greatest movements in music!
I can't reminisce and listen to anything Metallica did post-Black album, and the same with Megadeth, post-Cryptic Writings.
😊😊👍👍
This was fun....i hope you do more
Gonna be real here. Megadeth any day of the week. Dave Mustaine is just a badass. He had every song he wrote stole by Metallica, kicked out of his only "family" 2600 miles from home when they were just about to make it big. He had to get a bus home with no food, money or water. Then he had to spend about 6 years making band meanwhile watching his from friends become the biggest band in the world. I think most people would kill themselves years before he started megadeth
Mustaine was a drug addict and causing trouble on the road.
The others did what they did for the good of the band, whether it was right or wrong, it was on Daves head.
Dave whinging about Metallica blowing up while he crashed and burned is also his own personal problem, not metallicas.
Metallica don't lose any sleep over it, and I don't think dave does now.
Untrue. The song “Rust In Peace” was actually written when Dave was in Panic.
Zane problem is Ulrich and Hetfield are spoilt little rich kids and Dave came from the street where you have to talk with your fists. not get mummy to fight for you.
Michael Boyle Did you know, that Hetfield dad left and his mom died when he was a kid. Did that happen to mustaine? Go listen to Dyers Eve and read the lyrics dumbass bitch
Get over that.. dave did it...
For those of you who are new to our channel, we have time codes in the description ;)
That intro though! lol
I have a couple comments to make, first of all it was like a 24 hour bus ride they sent Dave on after kicking him out of the band, it was from NYC to LA on a Greyhound bus, to add an additional insult to it they then call up Kirk Hammett of Exodus at the time and flew him out to join the band, so Kirk was probably in New York before Dave even got back to LA, second I agree with Wolf about Metallica's early albums, for one the band as a whole had a level of cohesion in it that, due to Dave Mustaine's control freak attitude, Megadeth didn't really attain until their album Rust In Peace, not that Megadeth's earlier albums weren't great, they just didn't have the cohesiveness of the early Metallica albums, probably due to the the personnel changes and addiction issues within Megadeth and competent was probably the best word you could have used to describe Lars' ability on drums. I would really like to see SIstah react to some Tool songs, I would recommend starting from the beginning with them and take her through the evolution of the bands sound, say a track or two off each record starting from the Opiate EP, and by the time you make it to the end hopefully the new album will have been released by the with you guys mixing in other bands in between, I would recommend the tracks Part of Me and Jerk Off (live) off of Opiate and go from there
Tool is so overrated, their riffs are pretty repetitive and the voice is great for about an hour and then starts to get old quickly after that. Sistah, you had no bias listening to everything at once, and the Music speaks for itself. Megadeth is the greatest heavy metal band ever!!!
@@michaelhassler7446 I like a couple of tool songs, abit too slow for me
First time seeing this channel, already know i want to hang out with these folks

She REALLY needs to hear The Day That Never Comes by Metallica!
I go with Megadeth, always. Four Horsemen is awesome tho. You need to react to Tornado of Souls by Megadeth, it's my personal favorite and has the best solo of all time
Yeah, Mechanix too, 4 horsemen kicks on album, Mechanix destroys everything live :D, pure raw energy.
This debate will go on til the end of time. I was typing this long ass comment , but I KNOW everyone already either knows , or quite possibly it was already posted somewhere below. Great video though . Great idea .
Great idea, great intro, great reaction, great video.
Love both bands, but I'm with ya on this one Wolf.
Oddly enough, I've been in bands that have played both "Horsemen" and "Alabama" and I never flipping realized that.
And since you mentioned Vai...

That last solo is so good. Like you said just showing off. Gotta wrap it up in a fashion worthy of the song up to that point.
"Battery"
"Fuel"
"All Nightmare Long"
"...And Justice For All"
"No Remorse"
"Ride The Lightning"
"Hit The Lights"
"Blackened"
Can't wait for you to do those in due time. I've lost track if you've reacted to any of those yet. But I don't care xD
Mustaine did get credit for that song though and he's listed on Ride the Lightning for some things too i belive.
I'm like Sistha a Megadeth Guy. but i admit that the 4 horsemen is the better song.
Here's an Idea: OZZY vs RONNIE
Aaahhh, Senf! I thought you were on MY side xDDD ♥
This is a fantastic idea!
Ozzy Vs Ronnie is cruel and unusual punishment. How can anyone not choose Dio? But then, OZZY!
Great idea!
Dio was at his awesome best when he wasn't standing in Ozzy's Black Sabbath shadow.
Love Megadeth and Love Metallica, but show her some Metallica Speed! Disposable Heroes, Blackened, Dyers Eve, Battery, Damage Inc., fight fire with fire! Love the videos btw!
Dave WROTE the original Mechanix which is the main body of the Four Horsemen. Just saiyan.
Yes he did....but one riff doesn't make a song.Cheesy lyrics aren't good either....
+Henry TheEight
Oh my god, pretty much *every* riff in The Four Horsemen is Mustaine's including the Sweet Home Alabama break down ( the song by Lynrd Skynrd, but it was Mustaine who played it as a joke to Lars ). Have you even listened to the original No Life Till Leather Mechanix ?
It was not the lyrics which made thrash metal thrash, it was always the music.
@@sainandanramakrishnan4812 .... the lyrics are an important part of any song.....that's one of the reasons some bands are better than others, along with riffs, solos, vocals etc.
I've no liking for anything Metallica released after the Black Album (apart from Spit out the Bone),so i'm not a 'fanboy'....but speed alone does not make a good song.....
I found you guys through your Nightwish Ghost Love Score reaction and have been hooked on your videos since. I enjoy the fact that your approach is different from other music reaction channels; others just seem to be "play song" youtuber goes "ooh, that was good....well, see ya next time!" I love that yall give background information and analyze the songs and your reactions. Wolfkain taking the role of Metal Historian works out well in this format.
Having said that, in this video he mentioned that he felt that Metallica lost the "the song is a journey" attribute in their later works. I would like to see yall react to All Nightmare Long (from Death Magnetic), Halo on Fire, Murder One, Dream No More, or Spit Out the Bone (from Hardwired to Self-Destruct). IMO, those are their strongest offerings from their past 2 albums. Halo on Fire is my favorite of those examples and really give that "this is where the song wanted me to be" feeling by the end of it.
Also, to repeat everyone else....do Tornado of Souls. Favorite Megadeth song ever. Keep up the great work!
This is going to be AWESOME
I'm most definitely with Sistah on this. The Megadeth version is just a bit better. I like the lyrics of The Four Horsemen but the riffs and intensity in Mechanix is a a little something extra.
Can I make a request? Tomorrow is my Birthday and I got one for Sistah to check out.
The best is yet to come. Fast forward a some decades and check out Dystopia or The Threat is Real off the latest Album.
The Four Horsemen (9/10) is in my top 5 Metallica songs.
I can't say the same for The Mechanix (7/10) as far as Megadeth's catalogue goes.

And one more I forgot : Studio vs Live :-D
The best thing to ever happen was Metallica kicking Dave out because that action gave us on great metal band in Metallica and THE BEST THRASH BAND EVER in MEGADETH..... the one thing about Dave is that his writing along with Cliff is basically what put Metallica on the map after Dave left and Cliff died (R.I.P. Cliff)Metallica went to more Radio friendly style while Megadeth always stayed pure to their Thrash roots with the exception of RISK.
and super collider
You do realise metallicas biggest thrash hits have nothing to do with dave, cliff helped put metallica on the map with the harmonics and melodies, after cliff died they realised justice so thats wrong as well then they all chose to go someplace different, Megadeaths risk is much more radio friendly then the black album, load and reload, but no dave didnt put metallica on the map
Great video you two. Both versions are amazing. I'm proud to be a fan of both Megadeth and Metallica at the same time. It's sad that people have to argue over who's better. I love The Four Horsemen, but Mechanix is just better to me. Dave's vocals work better with it. But man, Metallica and Megadeth are just incredible. I would love to see more Versus videos with Metallica and Megadeth. Peace \m/
PS: I recommend Enter Sandman (Metallica) VS Symphony of Destruction (Megadeth)
I love Metallica's. It has story, desperate feelings, and the four horsemen is much more familiar with culture, just WOWarcraft.
These two songs were precisely what prompted me to create a playlist which I called "MegaMetalldetHicA" - which you can probably guess is a hybrid of the two bands' names mashed together, and the playlist featured songs by the bands in alternating sequence.
The alternating/random caps are to reflect the logo (which I also mashed together), retaining the capital M and H book-ending the Megadeth logo, and the "lightning bolted" M & A of Metallica.
I opened my "mix tape" with Mechanix, followed by The Four Horsemen, and the rest of the mix just went randomly from there in a Megadeth/Metallica sequence of songs.
I could not even begin to guess how I arranged them, save for some special editing of specific songs that were cross-mixed with other songs...
If you're interested, I uploaded a sample of how I mixed tracks which were already previously crossover'ed with other songs on their original albums - for example, how Into The Lungs Of Hell fades out as the soft jazz intro fades in for Set The World Afire (Megadeth), or how Fight Fire With Fire is abruptly ended by the commencement of Ride The Lightning (Metallica). Back in the 80s, long before PCs and editing software, I had to to do some fancy editing to separate songs that crossed over one another in that manner, or that had abrupt endings. But the mix you'll hear in my video upload is the "cleaner" and more professionally-precise effort with the benefit of proper editing software (and years of experience, much of it gained by trial & error, lol).
The one thing I did not include in the modern mix is the repeated explosions at the beginning of Set The World Afire, lol. Perhaps one day I'll remix it to include that effect?
All this, all because of these two specific songs (Mechanix and The Four Horsemen).
:-P
So, for your listening pleasure, I present :
MegaMetalldetHicA :
INTO THE LUNGS OF HELL / FIGHT FIR WITH FIRE / SET THE WORLD AFIRE

Five Magics is Epic !
My Favorite is, Mechanix (demo) by Megadeth, its faster and heavier than the regular studio version, and Dave's voice sounds vicious.
I was a Metallica fan first but now I love them equally
I love both and keep switching back and forth between which one is my favorite lol. Really depends on the mood
They booted Dave out of the band in NY before they recorded Kill em' All (like you said). But he had to bus all the way back to LA...a WHOLE LOT longer than 4 hours!! Love you guys!! Really appreciate your channel and the backstory on the songs! A great versus!!
i personally think four hoursemen is better musically. megadeth is more thrash though so i'll probably always prefer them.
I Choose "Mechanix" and I think that will be what Sistah picks...@19:30 in
The 4 Horsemen can't keep up....
I just like Metallica's tone better
You guys are great!! I watch all your reaction to heavy metal, and it makes me rediscovering those old classics in a way I wasnt seeing it. if there's one thing l'm not a big fan of is your headphones, you guys need to get some real headphone to get the full spectrum of frenquencies, espacially the bass and mid-bass frenquencies.

there's something about the energy in megadeth's music that just sets them apart, for me. Hangar 18 next?

I AM WITH SISTAH
hey there. just became a fan like literally days ago when I saw ya'lls first video but I have to say I think this is pretty awesome. There are a lot of review/reaction videos so this is fresh when it comes to the vs aspect. And I love how Wolf gives history and backdrop to setup the vs. Continue doing what your doing...love it. If I have not come across yet a video of yours, let me know...but would love to see Sistah's reaction to Iron Maiden's Dream of Mirrors or Rush's Fountain of Lamneth and or Temple of Syrinx.
I actually believe Sistah would truely love Dream of Mirrors and maybe even cry from the beauty of that song. Dream of Mirrors really holds a special place in my heart and I can't always explain it lol.
That whole album is awesome, such a great comeback. More Maiden to come for sure 🤟
agreed. Maiden holds a special place in my heart lol. and I may be a bit biased here but I believe Iron Maiden had one of the best live albums sound wise and balance wise with their "Live in Rio" set.
Thank you so very much!!🤗😘💖🙆🏾♀️
Iron Maiden already had the "galloping" rythym down to an art form by the time Mechanix was re-imagined as the Four Horseman.
So Lars and the boys can thank not only Dave Mustaine, but Steve Harris as well.
No one does it better than Maiden 👊
This isn't the same gallop as iron maiden. Maiden gallop is in a normal 4 count, whereas this gallop is set in a triplet. Two completely different things. Never heard maiden doing a triplet gallop, ever. Not once in their entire catalogue. Set in 4 would look like this -- l.lll.lll.lll.ll vs llll..llll..llll..llll.. -- Set in 3. Two completely different rhythms.
Up the Irons!!!! MEGADETH RULES!!!!!!!!
@@WolfKain up the Irons!!!
Play Four Horsemen on 1.5 speed with Hetfield's jaw strapped shut and you have Mechanix.
This reaction is interesting to hear because most people heard the Four Horsemen multiple times first and they liked it first, henceforth their judgment (including mine) is biased. Perhaps if Mustaine’s version was more ubiquitous first then it would be preferred by most people.
Dave had way more than a 4 hour ride home...they were in New York when he was booted. He had to travel back across the states to Cali.
Correction added to the description, thanks
Hard to choose from this. Love both
Wolfs evil look to sistah before that famous riff about to kick in. Priceless!!
I'm 47, I've been in debate about these two songs since forever and I will say what I always say. Four horsemen is better simply because James is a better singer (even back then) BUT everybody has their taste and that is cool.
James is not a better singer. I’m sorry.
It was actually a several day bus ride... with zero $$$ for food.
Quick info about the first song they played that was published was on an album of local metal bands put together by a guy I think was Brian Slagel called "Metal Massacre". The song had another guitarist Grant Loyyd given credit as well. The fist song was "Hit The Lights". Metallica is by far my favorite band but I must comment on Dave Mustaine. I respect the dude so much. Great song writer but also probably the most intelligent and articulate person in music.
When you think about, Kill em all is Dave Mustaine's first album. There is nothing to compare.
narvaizv 4 songs he co-wrote and he gets credit for it,so not even 50% of the album
Yeah cause Only Dave wrote Whiplash, Motorhead, Seek and Destroy etc 😂😂😂😂😂
The Hound Chicken Lover
Co-wrote? Wrong.
Most of the stuff he wrote were credited as his only in the early days. Only Phantom Lord had James listed as a co-writer.
+The Hound Chicken Lover
He WROTE Every single note of the 4 most unique songs on the album and all the solos. Other than that, Mustaine is undoubtedly the biggest influence on Kill Em All's speed metal sound.
"Not even 50%" ? Incorrect.

Do you have anything else to say that actually supports your initial claim of writing credits for a change ? Your most recent comment does not surprise me that you're natural at bullshitting.
Just going to throw this out here: *_Nevermore_* - _Born_
The guitarist/song writer, _Jeff_ _Loomis_ , audiotioned for Megadeth before _Rust_ _in_ _Peace_ , but was ultimately deemed too young to join the band at age 16.
Distorted80 damn man that sucks
Lyrics (themes), solos, speed - Metallica
Drumming, Vocal delivery (mostly due to poor production quality on Kill em' All) - Megadeth
In the end I listen to Four Horsemen a lot and almost never the Mechanix. Kirk's solos on this track are just stunningly good.
Great concept. I like that you guys did this video. There's really no competition in this case. Mechanix sounds like a demo version of Horsemen.
Iron Maiden - Hallowed be thy name............. please........
The covers would be fun.
It's Electric by both bands.
The live version by Megadeth and Sean Harris on vocals is batshit insanely great.
