i have just been experimenting with something of the same idea. i like the picaro's holster instead because it has a weapon core that can play well with memento. i also like running and gunning the build with a lady death which makes up for the lack of firepower early on in the stack building. my skills are shield and artificer hive that makes the shield nigh invincible.
I think what he ment is that even tho he has blue core the pacaro has the red core on the attribute but ur right u cant roll for red core to have double red but u can have red while having blue core
This is amazing. I've only till now been using a 4 piece striker with Zero F's and Memento but only with the last 2 having a blue core. I realize now that this has its limitations. Oh and I'm also at expertise 10 in all the gear and guns.
One among the best build for every situations and challenge, i'm just shock that I didn't make a build like this for the last 5 years , I was playing div. 2 just being an hard head only using red. striker parts,just changing the reds to the blue striker build open the whole game for me ! The Seska holster with a blue and 2 red CC and CD is a rare bird but necessary !
I've been using the same build with striker and a set like this with heartbreaker, it's just really easy to run through solo content without dying using it. useful video.

I need a recommendation on doing a tank build for those using demolitionalist as special, assault drone, and a turret. Need a high crit chance and high crit damage with high armor regen as well for the tank build. I use a assault rifle and smg. Currently starting to play division 2 again. Left off at level 33.
I just put that build together and im liking it.. it seems like the more armor you have the quicker u can build up your stacks.. i been living under a rock for far to long with the memento back pack. Now im bout to work on maxing it out.. im sitting on 1.8 armor
striker tank build is great. I run mine with similar logic but I use Cathasis head for more sustain, and a Gropo chest with unbreakable talent, for more CHD and survivability. pretty smoothly running heroic with two directives and nothing can kill me unless its me being an idiot face tank a group. Skill wise I use shield on q and revive hive on e, but switch to something else when in group. This build does lots of damage thanks to striker stacks and high CHC&CHD, you shield is pretty much a wall thanks to 1.7M armor
can i use this build for group play as well or would you say the capacitor build you put out a few days ago would be better ? I'm currently a striker with a memento and Fox pads, just returned to the game a few days ago and i want to start doing legendarys and stuff but i feel the capacitor build might be better ?

I have similar striker build but for mods I've been using protection from Elites Do you think it's better or just go with crit dmg? I have been using Banshee skill but will try with Turret or decoy this time

Nice Build. Navy Rain has been running a couple of Striker build variations but invests in PFE modes Depending on Legendary ( 3 or 4 modes). Really important to pick up those Memento Trophies...especially for the bonus armor. Other variations I have seen - Feneris Chest and Zero F's when running the Scorpio.
legend runs or the 100th floor clear in summit. sometimes randoms are just there for summit so might get lucky and see if they can switch their target loot to AR so you can have a better chance to get it. unless they also dont have it then its just pray to RNG that it drops on the 100th floor clear
First and only time I did summit, legendary floor 100 dropped Bighorn. I had also just returned to the game, if you are taking RNG conspiracy into account.
How did you get the armor core attribute on the striker gloves and knee pads? I wasn't able to do that. I can only find or craft them with weapon damage
@McGuns17 That was my first thought was to recalibrate to armor but when I went to transfer the core attribute, armor doesn't show up as an option to transfer over. Any ideas why?
Is there an immortal build to do Legendary, Raids and Incursions or at least close to one? I know back in the day it was possible. Now it seems like you need an all Red Core and a Run & Gun play style to complete end game content.
There is no such thing as a "Immortal" build in the game, any build can get you killed. All the titles you see from youtubers saying that I guarantee you they never ran a solo legendary with that "Immortal" build lol. Anyways, this tank build you see me using it's my best tank DPS build I use to solo legendary and I have proven it many many times with actual gameplay.
As a returning player who hasn’t played in a few years, what’s the best way to farm a gear set. Also, what difficulty is best for decent drops when target farming?
If you feel comfortable with the game and not die a lot use Heroic difficulty for higher chance of better loot. But for most return/new players I recommend challenge difficulty to farm gear to get a build going. you can get the same quality gear on challenge but the chances of better quality or lower than Heroic. Also best place to farm hands down it's countdown game mode
I am running same build its nice perfect for legendary its gives me out 700k damge full memento. I use 1.7 mill armour 5blue n 2 red.i gets extra 10 percent from memnto.its very balanced build.but have to play smartly and patiently .target enemy one by one .

2 golan , 1 belstone , Emperor's kneepads , 2 bulwark + NBBP . Technician , kingbreaker /vector for perfect flatline/flatline and spotter on the chest . All attributes to crit . Skills vary depending on content and solo or group play . My ONLY NBBP build🤣🤣🤣 .
Fenris offers more damage for the ar then ceska even with the loss of crit chance, since there's many blues in this build. Thats my only improvement to this build type.
The amount of damage these enemies take is starting to make me not like this game and I’ve been playing for years. But I get one shotted holding a shield by a shotgunner. I almost deleted the game yesterday.
I FEEL THE SAME...even on challenge or hard their doing too much dmg, no matter how much armor you have. I got back in GR Wildlands and GR Breakpoint , as in those games i can play tactical on hard core difficulty and is fair play the dmg i am doing or enemies.
Is this gonna work for new and returning players with low shd lvl and low expertise lvl? EDIT: Tested it and it’s actually insane 😂 but with my low lvl expertise and shd I think I’m too weak to do legendary solo 😢
I just wanted to copy this to finally make through legendary missions, but it have no power. It eats up the ammo while its too much time to kill the enemies. So i changed it, first i threw out the chest piece. U aren't really go over 100 on striker so its basically just a loss. Instead i put in a fenris w obliterate all red. Chc&chd. Now the max weapon damage 1,1m intead of 500k. It gives u the kick u need. 65% from striker, 25 from talent, 25 from chest pieace, 10 from the attribute. Now i have a tier6 shield, 5 armor, 2 weapon and 2 tech. I've tried out with 4 armor to increase the weapon damage furthermore, but its just not enough in tight situations. But for heroic, i made a 3 armor, 2 tech, 4 weapon version and it turned heroic into story mode😅

for the peeps saying "expertise level grrrr" expertise doesn't matter. i made the exact same build at no expertise just proficient and it still slaps enemies across the face. you just need to know how to play to its advantages and disadvantages. if you're using expertise as a copout sorry to say you just need to get good

Not trying to say anything bad but with high stats I can't get in the damn door. So unless someone can explain why all build vids don't work for me. Can't say how many builds I've tried to be disappointed. It hard out here for solo gamer

I found sad how the game that is about "build diversity" has only one universal build that outclasses literally everything, same with the exotic weapons. Why even bother to do other builds when striker is just overall the best option with memento.
Great video, but useless for me and my mate and many, many other new and returned players. We don't have the Momento or St Elmo's, and it's not for want of trying. For example, a week ago me and my mate ran around the map set to Heroic and targeted ARs and backpacks (BTW the Summit is a complete waste of time for farming - killed 2 Rogues and both dropped Purple Targeted loot, this on Heroic!!!). In 3 hours I got 3 Chameleons - he got nothing - in fact over the last 3 months since I have returned to the game, I have picked up 12 Chameleons - must be a sale on at Massively Incompetent. I also spent 20 plus hours over 3 days doing the Summit's 100 floors to get the exotic chest - so pissed off I can't remember its name, only to get it dropping like confetti in the open world game later - same goes for the Liberty Pistol!!! These 2 items should not be in the open world loot pool. I also have 12 BTSU Gloves and loads of other stuff I'll never use. And to add insult to injury, when running around on an Heroic map, when I open chests - weapon and gear - 9 out of ten times I get Purple items, and in the various tunnels, ALL items picked up are Purple - outrageous! Compared to three years ago, the game seems to have got worse, regarding the developers contempt for players, especially for players like me, who are strictly casual - 10 to 15 hours a week, if I'm lucky, and I play solo or occasionally with one friend. ALL Exotic weapons and gear should be in the open world loot pool - and if you are required to grind the Summit's 100 floors to get the exotic chest piece, it should be excluded from the loot pool. To give players their lives back and not have to spend hours and hours in massively boring grinding, when an Exotic drops it should be an Exotic chest with, say, 6 unique items - 3 weapons and 3 gear, and you choose one piece - and NOT 6 Chameleons with slightly different stats. I can see why Div 2 is in the state it's in. After watching the Project Resolve video with that poor woman sitting next to that idiot, Yannick, I could not believe his level of unpreparedness and sheer incompetence - he's got worse over the years. If anything or anyone is to save Div 2, it's people like the woman in the video - sorry, can't remember her name. She was well prepared, very professional, and on the ball - all the things he was not - and one could tell she was not happy with his performance, another point in her favour. Enough ranting and bending your ear. If things don't radically change after 6 Feb, I'll be back to Elden Ring - hopefully the DLC is not far off, and any other game that's worth my limited time. I would honestly run countdown to get the St. Elmo’s. Put it in the chat that you are looking for the weapon of choice and if your group is cool enough , you should be able to get it in a few runs.
Get off your high horse. Why should the game cater to you because you "casually" play 10-15 hours in a week? Just like anything, videogame or not, time and effort is required. Not a single other title of similar nature such as Destiny 2, Warframe, Path of Exile, Diablo 3/4, you name it, function the way you so desire. It's your own fault and issue you can not accommodate to play and put in the proper time, as has anyone else to ascertain these amazing builds that /required time and effort/. As a returning player, with a full time job and proper time management to balance my own life, alongside videogames, like Division 2, I came back about a month ago, and since then, I've gotten 3 St. Elmo's amongst 16+ Chamelons, with various other exotics with many duplicates. It's part of the game, not meant to be a charity event. The loud minority gets louder
I would suggest resetting the difficulty and changing it a few times and resetting the game, maybe verify install files...shit like that. I can't remember the last time I had a purple drop playing on challenging or heroic or legendary. The game is a lil buggy though as of late. Was doing Summit legendary and it was hard as it should be, died and re spawned and it was as if the difficulty changed, mowing down enemies and purples dropping.
Tbh. The builds only matters so match, its depends on difficulty. Deepends on how u position yourself as a character, it depends on patience. Every characters perception is different vs as how the play, as an operator in this game. Oh yeah...and expertise level. Make it make sense. You cant win vs my argument fully, and if u claim u think u, can ure full of shh

Bro you have too much armour if you want a decent build 1.3 mill base armour is plenty also your expertise level is really high which helps make game easy😂😂 in summary this is NOT EVEN CLOSE to best build🤷♂️
@@McGuns17my expertise is 5 so you have 10% dmg and armour more than i have🤷♂️ my build lol CTAR with in sync my main Pestilence lmg striker drone or assault turret, crusader shield now i am running 1.5 mill armour but only as watch is level 700 and 3 bits of armour at expert 5. Armour is striker obviously mask chest red cores gloves knees blues cores but would swap one of these to red at lower level than you but higher than me prob exp 10 Memento and holster is either or Petrov def 10% lmg dmg or FORGE 50% shield health which helps at start of legendary until u have memento stacks if u already have stacks Petrov holster survivalist or gunner i use at start survivalist for less elite dmg n also rock minus elite dmg mods put lmg ticks on n enjoy lol
@@McGuns17 6 months ago i was doing legendary with 1.1 mill armour but they have changed something n its not poss to run that low armour high dmg build anymore but ye at your level you could add 7k+ base dmg for 200k less armour which if you fully uprated your armour would be back at 1.5 then u could add another 7k+ base dmg and literally melt everything with ctar famas or tactical vector🤷♂️i been playing division since first game first day so i know a thing or three lol gg

The red core was took ot by massive and it won't be fixed so its either blue core or yellow core
@@callancalvert5344what? We did 8h of Raids yesterday and everyone was using it with red and blue core on it.

Good vid Gun’s , but the st Elmo doesn’t come from the police m4 nor does it come from the lightweight m4, it comes from the LVOAC from div 1 !
I get it but I meant the stats, it is the Police M4 of Div2 but with extra rounds and better mods. Compare them and see
I bet if you swap the pieces out for Heartbreaker, use a spotter chest with the linked laser on the assault rifle you'd be borderline invincible lol.

Yeah currently I have 3 different Striker setups on my loadouts. All for different purpose.

Striker gear always comes with weapon damage. I had to find them with crit damage and then recalibrate the core to Armor

No it does Not. It always drops with Core Weapon damage and you have to recalibrate it if you want armor

2 golan , 1 belstone , Emperor's kneepads , 2 bulwark + NBBP . Technician , kingbreaker /vector for perfect flatline/flatline and spotter on the chest . All attributes to crit . Skills vary depending on content and solo or group play . My ONLY NBBP build🤣🤣🤣 .

Fenris offers more damage for the ar then ceska even with the loss of crit chance, since there's many blues in this build. Thats my only improvement to this build type.

The amount of damage these enemies take is starting to make me not like this game and I’ve been playing for years. But I get one shotted holding a shield by a shotgunner. I almost deleted the game yesterday.
I FEEL THE SAME...even on challenge or hard their doing too much dmg, no matter how much armor you have.
I got back in GR Wildlands and GR Breakpoint , as in those games i can play tactical on hard core difficulty and is fair play the dmg i am doing or enemies.
Is this gonna work for new and returning players with low shd lvl and low expertise lvl?

I just wanted to copy this to finally make through legendary missions, but it have no power. It eats up the ammo while its too much time to kill the enemies.
So i changed it, first i threw out the chest piece. U aren't really go over 100 on striker so its basically just a loss.
Instead i put in a fenris w obliterate all red. Chc&chd.
Now the max weapon damage 1,1m intead of 500k.
It gives u the kick u need. 65% from striker, 25 from talent, 25 from chest pieace, 10 from the attribute.
Now i have a tier6 shield, 5 armor, 2 weapon and 2 tech.
I've tried out with 4 armor to increase the weapon damage furthermore, but its just not enough in tight situations.
But for heroic, i made a 3 armor, 2 tech, 4 weapon version and it turned heroic into story mode😅
Hey whatever works for you my friend 👍 and your build idea sounds awesome too. In my case as you can see in the video it works great for me as a fact I can get those 200 stacks a lot more often than you think.

for the peeps saying "expertise level grrrr" expertise doesn't matter. i made the exact same build at no expertise just proficient and it still slaps enemies across the face. you just need to know how to play to its advantages and disadvantages. if you're using expertise as a copout sorry to say you just need to get good

Not trying to say anything bad but with high stats I can't get in the damn door. So unless someone can explain why all build vids don't work for me. Can't say how many builds I've tried to be disappointed. It hard out here for solo gamer

I found sad how the game that is about "build diversity" has only one universal build that outclasses literally everything, same with the exotic weapons. Why even bother to do other builds when striker is just overall the best option with memento.
Great video, but useless for me and my mate and many, many other new and returned players. We don't have the Momento or St Elmo's, and it's not for want of trying. For example, a week ago me and my mate ran around the map set to Heroic and targeted ARs and backpacks (BTW the Summit is a complete waste of time for farming - killed 2 Rogues and both dropped Purple Targeted loot, this on Heroic!!!). In 3 hours I got 3 Chameleons - he got nothing - in fact over the last 3 months since I have returned to the game, I have picked up 12 Chameleons - must be a sale on at Massively Incompetent. I also spent 20 plus hours over 3 days doing the Summit's 100 floors to get the exotic chest - so pissed off I can't remember its name, only to get it dropping like confetti in the open world game later - same goes for the Liberty Pistol!!! These 2 items should not be in the open world loot pool. I also have 12 BTSU Gloves and loads of other stuff I'll never use. And to add insult to injury, when running around on an Heroic map, when I open chests - weapon and gear - 9 out of ten times I get Purple items, and in the various tunnels, ALL items picked up are Purple - outrageous!
Compared to three years ago, the game seems to have got worse, regarding the developers contempt for players, especially for players like me, who are strictly casual - 10 to 15 hours a week, if I'm lucky, and I play solo or occasionally with one friend. ALL Exotic weapons and gear should be in the open world loot pool - and if you are required to grind the Summit's 100 floors to get the exotic chest piece, it should be excluded from the loot pool. To give players their lives back and not have to spend hours and hours in massively boring grinding, when an Exotic drops it should be an Exotic chest with, say, 6 unique items - 3 weapons and 3 gear, and you choose one piece - and NOT 6 Chameleons with slightly different stats.
I can see why Div 2 is in the state it's in. After watching the Project Resolve video with that poor woman sitting next to that idiot, Yannick, I could not believe his level of unpreparedness and sheer incompetence - he's got worse over the years. If anything or anyone is to save Div 2, it's people like the woman in the video - sorry, can't remember her name. She was well prepared, very professional, and on the ball - all the things he was not - and one could tell she was not happy with his performance, another point in her favour.
Enough ranting and bending your ear. If things don't radically change after 6 Feb, I'll be back to Elden Ring - hopefully the DLC is not far off, and any other game that's worth my limited time. Always enjoy your excellent videos. Cheers, Harry.

I would honestly run countdown to get the St. Elmo’s. Put it in the chat that you are looking for the weapon of choice and if your group is cool enough , you should be able to get it in a few runs.
Get off your high horse. Why should the game cater to you because you "casually" play 10-15 hours in a week? Just like anything, videogame or not, time and effort is required. Not a single other title of similar nature such as Destiny 2, Warframe, Path of Exile, Diablo 3/4, you name it, function the way you so desire. It's your own fault and issue you can not accommodate to play and put in the proper time, as has anyone else to ascertain these amazing builds that /required time and effort/. As a returning player, with a full time job and proper time management to balance my own life, alongside videogames, like Division 2, I came back about a month ago, and since then, I've gotten 3 St. Elmo's amongst 16+ Chamelons, with various other exotics with many duplicates. It's part of the game, not meant to be a charity event. The loud minority gets louder

I would suggest resetting the difficulty and changing it a few times and resetting the game, maybe verify install files...shit like that. I can't remember the last time I had a purple drop playing on challenging or heroic or legendary. The game is a lil buggy though as of late. Was doing Summit legendary and it was hard as it should be, died and re spawned and it was as if the difficulty changed, mowing down enemies and purples dropping.

Tbh. The builds only matters so match, its depends on difficulty. Deepends on how u position yourself as a character, it depends on patience. Every characters perception is different vs as how the play, as an operator in this game. Oh yeah...and expertise level. Make it make sense. @@McGuns17my expertise is 5 so you have 10% dmg and armour more than i have🤷♂️ my build lol CTAR with in sync my main Pestilence lmg striker drone or assault turret, crusader shield now i am running 1.5 mill armour but only as watch is level 700 and 3 bits of armour at expert 5. Armour is striker obviously mask chest red cores gloves knees blues cores but would swap one of these to red at lower level than you but higher than me prob exp 10 Memento and holster is either or Petrov def 10% lmg dmg or FORGE 50% shield health which helps at start of legendary until u have memento stacks if u already have stacks Petrov holster survivalist or gunner i use at start survivalist for less elite dmg n also rock minus elite dmg mods put lmg ticks on n enjoy lol
@@McGuns17 6 months ago i was doing legendary with 1.1 mill armour but they have changed something n its not poss to run that low armour high dmg build anymore but ye at your level you could add 7k+ base dmg for 200k less armour which if you fully uprated your armour would be back at 1.5 then u could add another 7k+ base dmg and literally melt everything with ctar famas or tactical vector🤷♂️i been playing division since first game first day so i know a thing or three lol gg
