- This is a quick look at our 31st Delorean Time Machine Replica, this was a re-purchase and restoration of the 6th car we built for a customer who bought it from the Discovery Channel Show "AUCTION KINGS" back in 2011.

"You can only do what you can do". This phrase motivated me to build my own replica here in Brazil. It would be impossible to me to afford one of these here or even a clean Delorean, so I decided to pick a carefully selected regular car and make it up to look like a Delorean, using only the original chassis, tubuluar structure and fiber glass covered with stainless steel sheets. Sure it will never be as good as this one, but I can only what I can do. I'll have a lot of fun for sure! Thanks for showing up your piece of art.

So I was wondering since this 6/31 was built, how many original time machine parts did it have vs the newer ones and how do you think that effects the resale of your builds?

I am a fan and enthusiast of the franchise I got a hw delorean time machine hover mode of the 2015 version once I would get the part 3 time machines to complete my collection of movie cars and others to honor the handler clan's loving memory I know about the block universe and the multiverse.

One day I will count the wires and figure out how many miles of copper wire he has wasted over the past 31 cars making these project cars.
It has to be a big number.
It might be worth looking into an alternative, like a thin colored tube that resembles wire.

My most recent build vid is a flux capacitor replica and I purchased the solenoid labels from bobs prop shop. Superb quality. If you’re a prop maker check em out. You won’t be disappointed.

how does it handle the rain?
Does anyone ever swap out the weak engines in these cars and put something in with more grunt? Imagine having the horsepower to go with the awesome looks.

Yes, using a GPS, I think, I believe that he stated that the speedometer is also linked with the device behind the driver that measures your speed as well. I also think that it is linked with the flux capacitor also.

As cool as this is, do you ever feel guilty about taking away the originality of this rare car? I’m not knocking your work it is cool.
I think there are about 6500 deloreans or so in the world, and only a tiny percentage are modified to look the BTTF one, so i think its fine to do this to a delorean
There are only about 100+ “Time Machine” replicas out of the 9200 Deloreans made, or 6000+ cars known on the road, that is less than 2% of the cars, so, no.
Videobob Moseley it’s not the same for the Ecto-1, those cars are stupid rare.
I think the Ecto conversion is more forgivable just because most of the 59-61 Cadillac hearses are more or less destroyed anyways, so they need heavy modifications to even get them road worthy again
