  • Madhura Maanasa - Modern Tranquility is a Modern Luxury home in Bengaluru, nestled in a residential area between the city's IT Hubs.
The Architect and her husband, an IT employee, collaboratively envisioned building a home that is deeply rooted in the idea of catering to family members of multiple generations while also creating a space to which the greenery accommodates and nurtures life vastly across different spaces of the home.
A balance of privacy and connectivity to the context is maintained through the large windows on the elevation which also draws in ample amount of natural light throughout the day and cuts down the energy used in artificial sources of light and ventilation.

The kitchen and the island in it is the best part of the house.
I wonder why families are having a maximum of only ONE child nowadays? So, kids don’t fight about inheritance in the future?
    Master bedroom looks very cramped!

YP score 6.0/10. Great house. Looks very nice.
Step design is never safe. I see living floor has steps which breaks spaces nicely but being a small overall area, it didn't sit well with elevator entry area which is narrow and seem to be unusable. No railing at the beginning of stairs is also not safe, it could have something by the wall for the support. Kids bedroom is good with 2 floors, but somehow feels conjusted. Masterbedroom looks very narrow both at work area and at the bed area, could have tv mounted to wall seamlessly to create much open space overall. Dining space is small as well but fits 4 seater table well. The colors used are well thought which opens up the space.

All good designs are against using double height unless you have larger floor area. 70x50 is large enough to have double height butt are you open to consider having 15 feet floor height? Tall ceilings makes space look twice that is. When you have 15' height floor you do not need double height living and you can leave more space for balconies and stuff. Also to consider is having a cutout at dining area.

Not an architect or construction expert, but have house with double height living room. It makes us feel great and proud of the house, adds something emotional or I don't know what, but it feels good. The house feels larger as well.
If it's technically possible, I would say go for it even if it costs a little more.

Good, but seems every idea and money has only been spent on living and front room. Not making fun, narration was more like SCHOOL ESSAY WRITING😂

Even Budha himself would differ from your above views as he was rebellious against superstitions and rituals/customs of his time then. I do not know why people consider their own feet that plays such a vital function in lives as a mark of disrespect when it is not even touching the statue or anything directly. Just curious to know how did you travel by flight over India, if you had before? Do not create unfounded fears in people please !
