I am thanking God he gave me the ability to differentiate a symbol from actual human conflict. A flag is no more than a symbol, while those dying on all sides of the war are ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS. Do something to stop the killing if you want to impress me. In the mean time, just watch the comments section fill up with people who are thrilled that a skirmish over a symbol was won by the "good guys". The vapid and simple-minded will find comfort in this unimportant event while deaths continue to mount in the wars.
