Dear Sangah, so many times your wonderful videos trigger fond old memories with me.
Many, many years ago when I was still in high school, Pearl Bailey and Cab Calloway were doing a national revival tour of "Hello, Dolly!" and came to the Shubert Theater in Boston before making their way to Broadway. My grandmother, at the time, was a physical therapist with an office on Boylston St. about a block away from the theater. She was hired to be Miss Bailey's personal masseuse during her stay in town. Long story short, we all got to go to a performance and met Miss Bailey after the show. That was a pretty memorable night. Thank you so much for helping so many of us rekindle fond memories of our pasts while making new ones here with you. I'm sure I speak for many others here, as well.

"Hello Dolly" was one of the very first songs that I played, on the piano, that wasn't classical music. I also played "Mame" around that time, too. But, uh, I HAVE to admit my rendition of "Hello Dolly" and your jazzy rendition, didn't sound anything alike. The phrase "comparing apples to oranges" certainly comes to mind, after hearing you play it, Sangah. 😉 You are so gifted as a pianist that I cannot imagine anything but perfection whenever you play a song. I want to close my eyes and let the music transport me. But. then, I also want to keep my eyes opened so that I can catch your expressions and just to view the overall setup, i.e., the lighting effects, what you're wearing, your hairstyle, etc. My solution to this dilemma? Listen to you play it several times. Sometimes with my eyes opened; sometimes they're closed. One of my favorite visuals, that I truly enjoy,, is when you flash that lovely smile of yours, at the very end. Priceless!!

Very uplifting, jazzy version of a classic Sangah. You just took me back to earlier times of great musicals, but when I hear this song, I always think of Louis Armstrong. I really enjoyed this more upbeat and faster paced version of the original song that he did. Of course, your impeccable playing and left hand work with your own spin on it make this version unique, enjoyable, and memorable. Whenever I hear this tune in the future, my mind will take me to you, this rendition, and how you turned a classic into a Sangah original. I love how you’re always able to reinvent songs from the past, making them something new and special. I especially love how your playing evokes warm memories of what I believe were simpler and more nostalgic times; it’s incredible how your music and talent are able to trigger so many memories from a persons life - it’s like magic. So now I have two heroes of Hello Dolly - Louis and Sangah. Wonderful performance my dear Sangah. ❤️💕🥰
