I just can't see how anyone could say louis voice is fantastic. it sounds like nobody else's though . He sounds like his throat is stuck.the His diction is close to none at all but at the same time he performs and gets everybody to listen and enjoy. It takes a showman to catch the people's attention with such a struggling voice. I wish I had louis opinion about his voice. Dean Martin, Franck Sinatra and Bing Crosby had fantastic voices .

I remember years ago, when I was a young teenager, J.L.Hudson's would put on a summer show for the whole month of August every weekend. One of the summer shows I remember was Louis Armstrong performing on the Bob Lo Boat (paddle boat) up and down the Detroit River moonlight paddle. The performance was fantastic, everybody was singing and dancing just plain old having a terrific time. My parents loved Louis Armstrong. I have movie pictures of my mom and dad dancing there hearts out to Louis Armstrong's songs. What wonderful memories.
