Sgian Dubh Knife Review. It is making a comeback! Is this historic Scottish knife still good?

I would be honored with your subscription. I love a good knife, and hope you do too! Not only that, I am a fan of history. The Sgian Dubh combines both of those elements beautifully. It is pronounced "ski inn do"
This knife is making a comeback as a useful tool, rather than the decorative models worn with Scottish dress. You will probably know this knife as the "sock knife" when wearing a kilt, however the history and use of this blade are much more interesting. Getting back to the roots of the sgian dubh, or black knife, has led me to appreciate Scottish history and how cultures across the world developed their own knife styles.
Overall I believe this is a great EDC and trail knife, however it is a little small for a bushcraft knife. That said, the best knife is the one you have on you.
