Great reaction 😆 the jazz break always makes me think that she's going through the Tokyo airport jamming with her headphones, and someone stops her to get photos, and that's the music playing and the announcements, etc. I see it vividly. Of course it's also a comment on red carpet or press events and the paparazzi.
I’m also convinced she just likes to periodically remind us that she can speak at least some Japanese. Idk if she’s fluent, havent bothered to check. Wouldn’t surprise me tho!
@@lasernikixcex she's not fluent, but she does incorporate a little simple japanese in her music. Honestly, Im not a fan of some of her pronunciations haha.
"I just gave them props for like.... jamming out!" When did they stop doing that? It just shows how versatile they are. They can do pretty much every genre, from metal to experimental jazz.
Wouldn’t be a Poppy song without a cut to something off the wall! Always love the flexing of the bilingualism too XD gotta remind us at least once an album Sometimes I think she puts genres and motifs into a bowl and picks a few out and makes it work no matter what it is! Today it was metal and airport ambiance!
The Ghostemane x Poppy song isn't great but I unironically liked Poppy's older stuff and I absolutely love Ghostemane, so maybe he'll get her to drift more to the "darker" side 😝

Poppy is one of the most underrated musicians in metal right now. Her stuff is amazing

Poppy is gaining new ground in the metal scene
Gaining? She kicked the door down and strode in like the queen she is from day one.

This had like 4 different subgenres of metalcore and then fucking elevator music
Isn't metalcore a subgenre?

"Say Cheese"!
thx Hoopsick!
All I can say is jaw dropping cereal killer music!!
Very late to the discussion, but Poppy's drummer is Ralph Alexander, and his stuff is sick!
Matt Mcjunkins from A Perfect Circle is the bass player.
I don't know why, but I like it.
@@fluxx2384 Well, that's an interesting guess. I might be well-disposed towards this consideration.
the whole EP (NXT ep or Eat) is so good.
Poppy directed hydrochloride by ghostmane id love to see a reaction to that music video

Try her album I Disagree
Musically very nice bit the voice ruined it for me :(
