@@bobbytables464 Even the bubblegum pop had "EVERYBODY DIES" on it's MVs. There was definitely foreshadowing. though we didn't think she was going to go straight up metal
Oh man. THIS is your first time with Poppy? Well you got the heaviest of the heavy. Poppy used to be a pop star who turned full metal Glad you like her. Check out anything of hers
Yeah this was my first time with poppy but I love her so far I listened to a couple other of the newer songs as well. Do you have any suggestions on what to listen to next?
I HAD THE SAME REACTION HAHAHAH Poppy emerged as a character. And she used to make pop songs, some even criticizing the music industry (and celebrities in general), and now she releases heavier songs like this. I really love Poppy's concept. You should watch her first videos too, they are awesome and creepy
Thank for the reaction!! You definitely need to react to her other new song called “EAT”. I suggest you to react to her Grammy live performance of that song if you want!!!
Holy shit, for a first time intro to Poppy this is awesome! I'm kinda jealous haha. I subbed for more reactions to her work. Her previous album I Disagree was incredible, and it has about six amazing music videos for the songs. React to them all! Also X, Scary Mask (ft. Fever 333), and for some culture shock go back her bubblbath and poppy . computer eras and her old youtube videos (trippy af).
@@CoreySladeMusic her music to sleep to and read to are pretty good relaxing instrumentals. she has quite a catalog...im not really into her pop music but she does have some that i can listen to. her progression is incredible. the opposite of selling out.
Discovered Poppy about 18 months ago with "concrete", and loved how the music has developed...pretty funny when you compare it to the older stuff like "moshi moshi". Yet to convince any of my peers to take her music seriously. :)
dude i got the same reaction as you when i head this - just internalized ( because i was in public listening to this ) - anyway your reactions are so entertaining - keep it crazy, unpredictable and heavy. cheers from singapore! (:
I randomly came to this the other day and I gotta say. You're very underrated for being a reaction channel/covers. You're always 100% on everything and That's what makes you great man. Also watch her old videos where she just says "I'm poppy" . I believe she was being forced to do everything by her manager and an abusive relationship. She's very underrated. I'll be on this train with you \m/
@@CoreySladeMusic that’s impressive man I feel like that came off as trying to be rude but that’s not what I meant usually you’d have at least couple by now no matter how good the video is
I love that THIS from all the songs is your first experience with her lmaooooo
Lmaooo from what everyone’s said this is by far the heaviest and I LOVE IT
listen to her discography, she went from bubble gum pop to holy fuckin shit metal.
I’m definitely going to be listening and reacting to a lot more poppy
The bubble gum had razor blades in it.
You should do your research on her! She was basically a puppet when she was releasing bubblegum pop
@@bobbytables464 Even the bubblegum pop had "EVERYBODY DIES" on it's MVs. There was definitely foreshadowing.
though we didn't think she was going to go straight up metal
Only Poppy herself actually produced this! She's such an inspiration for me.
She's definitely VERY talented and diverse. I'm loving her so far!
but who composed it?
@@Thom35UO She did
@@jagp135 are you saying she composed the guitar parts?

Every time I listen to this song that "ding" feels personal... lmao, it's like she's saying "fvck you and your expectations!"
When the heavy metal hits hard
yes
You have to listen to "Time Is Up." Both the video and song are so underrated.
I'll definitely check it out!
the moment your face melted, gold
Lol it was insane
you could react to "Lazzaretto" (think i spelled it wrong) from ghostmane (poppys fiance). Poppy was the director of the video. :)
Really thats awesome! I'll have to add that to the list
Nice one this guys first listen is her heaviest 😎
You’re a cool dude👍 More Poppy, man.
