Hey tj , you can get a USB adapter that’s 3 foot long and route the cable to the glove compartment or the center console. So when you plug your phone to charge or use Apple play it’s close by at the same time you can hide and tuck the cables away. That’s what I did on my set up. As well certain Best Buy’s have a auto installations, you can go there and find a universal stereo adapter that will hold it in place. The rx-7 is one of a kind great job 👌🏽.

legit the only problems i have with the fd are those headlights as a man who loves pop ups those bucket lights just dont look good at all and dont fit the car would be more sleek with the pop ups and me personally would have had a duck tail spoiler which is the best spoiler (in my opinion only spoiler) on a fd but hey its ur car not mine and i love seeing how passionate u are about this car much love from Iceland

The best place I have found to get a box for the radio is your local audio place. They can usually either give you one for free or you can buy it off of them for pretty cheap!

I just put that exact head unit in my '93 RX7. I ran the USB extension into the glove box and put a 64GB USB drive on it with a huge library on it. Way better than car play or android auto. I have no idea why people use those.
Been waiting so long and talking to everyone I know about this white rx7. Most of my fam and friends don’t even know what I’m talking about. 👌🏽the perfect car.

He didn’t really, he got the basics, door speakers and interface, he can always get some subs and amps later right, I don’t see him blasting music any louder than the door speakers will go anyway.

I think the front bumper looks dope, the only thing is the feed side skirts dont flow well with the front bar. You need a more aggressive or bulkier skirt to match the look of the front. But that’s just my opinion. Still love the car though!

Don't know if you noticed but 6 X 9 speakers fit perfectly in the two panels above the rear bins.
Convert the lights behind the dash gauges to LED, you can keep the same dash module and have the lights upgraded!!

I dig the front bumper. I think it’s because it’s so aggressive that when you start to move away from the front and towards the side and rear end it doesn’t flow, but overall the car still looks great.
I hope Daniel is going to Hawaii with you guys... he deserves to go after taking care of all of the cars & paint.
Heads up for you Teeg, there's an update on the Sony site for that head unit that makes the startup warning message go away automatically after a few seconds. Makes it so much easier to get in the car, plug in your phone, and just go. Also the new iOS coming will allow you to use nav apps other than Apple's so it won't completely suck to navigate with

okay you seriously disappointed me on this video not for the video quality and not for the content that was what you bought..... kicker these days is the bottom of the barrel AKA you're kicking yourself in the butt right now for the sound quality that is going to have....
Like go with component sets of like a Clarion Pro Audio or like Focal .... I mean kickers like Walmart level I think you can even buy him a Big Lots these days... I mean they might be a step up from pyramid but that's about it

Just so everybody knows, the colors of the wires for radios are not ALWAYS the same. Sometimes they do vary, always use the wiring diagrams for both the stock harness and aftermarket one to be sure

I got that same Sony unit for my daily, love it kind of want to get another one for the show car.
I got a multi-interface usb snap in mount for the usb made it look super oem all you have to do is drill a hole somewhere and push it in, I believe you could get one to go in place of your cigarette lighter as well if you don’t wanna drill into the dash.

Got the same radio in my brz, only issues I had was usb would get loose with the extension, with bumps, to fix this I used electric tape to tape the usb extension to the usb and I have no disconnection issues now, keep up with the vids 👌🏻👌🏻
I actually really love the front end of the Rx7. It’s really aggressive, but it sets it apart from other ones which makes it very unique.
You can get the plastic trim so it fits flush at any audio shop or ebay amazon!
PERSONALLY i think you should get the knight sports front bumper. Because you can have part of it painted and other parts carbon.
I really wish these guys who go all out for the car, lack in the audio, still a really sweet car
Hey tj I'm 16 and I have replaced my headunit from stock to after market. Replaced my speakers and added a sub to my 98 nissan frontier. I want to build my truck more it's just that I don't have the money to build it the way I want and the paint is peeling really bad. I love watching your videos and your videos about the brz have made me want one really bad. And I think the fd looks great and I'm so excited to see the finished product.

Dude. This head unit is crazy. It's on android, looks pretty stock like not flashy, has apple car thing and android auto too I think, and takes only one din slot in the back (even tho the front is 2 slots) so it fits in everything.
