    It’s a good set to have on hands Dspiae is getting their name out there with their products already seen a lot popping up. From sanding to vice and even the electric grinding/ rotary pen

      I'll take a look at their rotary pen thx.

    Got a set of these, kinda wish they came in a slightly different range of grits (eg. 600-1500) since a metal file will take care of the lower grits just fine and the higher grits I'll probably only need for select few glossy parts. Otherwise, great value - much more so than that sad bag of Godhand sponges which I also got initially

    JFC, I'm literally on the market for sanding sponges because I have the SAME infini set and want to replace them xD Been eyeing the DSPIAE for a minute.

    Mann....this is what I need haha. Have both of them for customizing kits. (Scribing, armor plates) etc. They did the work what I wanted to see. I didn't regret much of these sanding sponges.

      yeah they have proven the test of time. Having different thicknesses and being able to cut them into smaller parts. I love these!

    Could you compare these to Infini Model’s sanding sponges?

    • @TriloGStudio
      @TriloGStudio  6 місяців тому

      To the giant ones directly, i woulf get both sets. The infinis have there place and it depends on the kit your working on. The Infinis are softer and work better for like, lets say giant tubes. Maybe something like a car models roof. These Dispaes are a lot smaller but they least give you different levels of "bend", and you can cut them to even smaller sizes

    Hello bro so basically the 5mm size is good on flat surface?

    • @TriloGStudio
      @TriloGStudio  11 місяців тому

      almost, the thicker one bends a lot less. But if you want to use on a flat surface, you want to use a hard sanding stick such as a metal backed one.

    Did you really just say “very aesthetic”? What aesthetic. That’s like saying “very color” or “very smell”. “This food is very flavor”.
    Alright, bye.

    Can i start sanding with 1k grit?

    • @TriloGStudio
      @TriloGStudio  3 роки тому +2

      honestly yes. If your just trying to take care of nubs you can actually start with a file (but be careful). What ever the task your attacking, you'll see if you need to increase the grit. And for the look your going for, you'll know how high you'll need to go.

    So how long have these sticks lasted you? Looked at this sticks a little while ago.

      So far I have made about 3 highgrades with them and have yet to throw any way. The grits seem to be holding up well so far. I'm sure they will eventually dull out but it comes with a good amount for each grit with is great.

    Do you think buying both sets is necessary? Which would be a better buy?

    • @TriloGStudio
      @TriloGStudio  3 роки тому +1

      It really depends on you and what your looking to do and at this price, it won't hurt to buy both. But if you know you only need a certain size, I would seek an individual option.

    these are just rubbish sanding sponge . styrofoam sanding paper is not for regular gunpla nub mark removeing . when useing styrofoam type sandpaper . you will end up with a small pop , and it never go away no matter even keep sanding it with the styrofoam one . if you want a perfect sanding out come . you need a paper base sandpaper . so it is not just these sanding sponge are rubbish. the company is also rubbish . but when talk about god hand . it is a good company . they offer both paper base and styrofoam one . that can help you doing better sanding job

    • @TriloGStudio
      @TriloGStudio  2 роки тому +6

      I'll have to disagree. As explained, these come in different thicknesses, thus each have a different level of "bend" to them. So you use the one that works best depending on the curved area. I've had more issues with God hands sponges since they are all soft and only come with one type of backing.

      @@TriloGStudio nope. you never can clean the nub mark with these kind of sanding sponge . if you polish the sanded nub mark . you will see it is still a small pub on the surface . soft-base sandpaper have lot of disadvantage , it can only make the beginners feeling good . get the hard one . soft base one can never get the best result . and buying pre-cutted sand paper is also a wasting money movement . get the best brand and product line sandpaper . cut it yourself into the perfect size for the specific requirement . it is cheaper and more . you will get the best sanding result . i have lot of original sanding paper from different company , i cut it myself , and i make my own backing either . do it yourself is worthy !

      @@benho2588 sounds like you don't know how to use them. Literally countless UA-cam videos showing that you can remove a nub with a sanding sponge. I've done it myself plenty of times.

      @benho2588 Рік тому +3

      @@notsohandyandy well ,maybe my comment was a little over and mean . for most of the model kit fans , sanding products like Dspiae's are just fine . it is efficient and easy to remove the nub marks with an acceptable outcome . but if you want it to be perfect , you gotta use the traditional ways like sandpaper with hard backing . for us who had played model kits for
      decades , we prefer the sandpaper with hard backing method rather then the soft backing one . of cause we still use the soft one for the curved surface . but we use the hard backing one first to kill the nub marks , then refer to the soft one to sand a perfect curved surface . after all , having fun is
      priority !enjoy your hobby !
