I miss old school monster hunter sounds even down to gathering items and using potions.
Maybe they'll add an option in wilds to choose between the new and old sound effects
Punishing draw is so much more fun to see than Crit draw. Also had a good giggle when your weapon power went down as soon as the quest ended.

Kirin is such a cool monster. Hands down one of my favourite elders to fight. Really hope capcom puts him in mh 6

Great run BTW. I'm still in awe when I see hammer and GS players prediction skills in older games.
the difference is one is mobile and deals 800 damage and makes you dodge attacks. while the other just counters attacks and deals 9,000 damage
@@DESMal the health pools are completely different in these games, rise monsters have way more health than most 4u
@@beannibba the only reason they had to increase the HP pools is because of the shear amount of damage skills the hunters have
MH3u, MH4U, MHGU, all have almost the same HP pools for G rank monsters give or take 1k, then e look at world and rise where all of a sudden the HP pools get a fat x10 or more becuse suddenly the hunters are able to deal 10x damage even faster because they shortened all of the animations.
@@DESMal if the health and damage increased by 10x each then it isn’t any different from this
@@beannibba there is a difference. not only in how it's dealt but also the feeling of how much damage you deal.
Crit draw was very mobile. requiring you to dodge hits.
Modern gs is just use wirebug every 5 seconds and and deal big damage.
it's different gameplay (At a fundamental level, I know there's more to each side but that's just the jist of it)

Old World Kirin for me is so much harder than Worldborne's Kirin. Worldbornes is way to easy.
