Book Lovers!!🎉 I need to reread it after hearing you gush about it. That book was my gateway back to reading romance and I haven’t regretted it ONCE. The List of Suspicious Things sounds like it’s right up my alley!
Hi Lezlie! Instead of a reread, I would recommend Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez. And I think you would absolutely love Suspicious Things. Thanks for watching 💕
Agree 100% about the writing in All the Colors of the Dark! I had to reread so many sentences in the beginning!! The structure was so off. Thank God after a few pages, it was easier. Such a good book!!!
Very interested in The List of Suspicious Things, thanks for the reviews. I’ve had a hard time finding AMAZING books the last couple years so I’m excited for your recommendations.
I also really liked Book Lovers. Cool that you met the author of The List of Suspicious Things! I plan to read it, but have been trying to find it at a good price. Also, can’t wait to read All The Colors of the Dark!
Recent favorites were The Collected Regrets of Clover, The Lost Ticket & The Lost Girls. Yes to Jennifer Hillier. I've read the two you mentioned plus two other books of hers. Yes to romance. Adding The list of Suspicious Things to my TBR.
I am really intrigued by The List of Suspicious Things. It sounds like one I’d enjoy. My top 5 of the second quarter are, in no particular order, Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez, Funny Story by Emily Henry, In Defence of the Act by Effie Black, Ship of Destiny by Robin Hobb, and Someone You Can Build a Nest In by John Wiswell.
Hi Sarah! So two of your faves I loved, two I intend to read and I’ll have to check out Wiswell. I really hope you get to Suspicious Things soon, I think you’ll enjoy it. Let me know! Thanks for watching 💕
I am NOT a romance reader either, but happened upon the audiobook of Abbey Jimenez' Just For The Summer while looking for something to listen to while crocheting, something that didn't require a lot of attention. To my surprise and delight I loved it! Was not at all what I expected. Now maybe I'll have to try Emily Henry as well.
@@readingwithavengeance Thanks to the recommendation. I will try it. Also, loved the audiobook readers. I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much without them. Especially the guy.
I get tons of reading done in summer because it's too blasted hot to do anything else! Until now I would never consider reading Britney Spears, I will think about it. Romance, yuck, lol. I'm on hold at the library for All the Colors of the Dark and looking forward to it becoming available. How exciting for you to meet Jennie Godfrey and be at the Women's Prize...so jelly. Love your blooper opening BTW.
Hi Donna! That’s a good point about the heat. I used to use the bitter cold or snow as an excuse to stay in and read guilt free and I thought I’d miss having the weather “force” me indoors. Turns out the heat of the South does the same thing! 🙌🏼 Thank you so much for watching 💕
A romance! Help, an imposter has stolen Heather 😂
😂😂😂
Hi Andrea! Thank you for watching 💕

Hi Cynthia! I’m pretty sure both books will be faves of the year. I hope you can get to them soon. Thank you so much for watching 💕
A new favorite I just read is an older book, The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens. So good!! Can't wait to dive into more from him.
Hi Terry! I’ll have to check that out. Thank you so much for watching 💕
Great wrap up!
Thank you! 💕
Can’t wait to read The God of the Woods! Heard such good things, and I loved Long Bright River.
Let me know what you think!
I loved it!!! The cover is such a perfect fit! I’m going to meet her on the 24th at my local B&N
