The other one (the cover)was a tribute to George when he was posthumously inducted into the Rock in Roll Hall of Fame. The video includes his son Dhanni playing acoustic guitar.
If someone unfriends you for what you were explaining the hell with them. It's that simple. You work really hard on this channel Ace. Most of us appreciate it You're doing one he'll of a job. And STOP APOLOGIZING!
There is no need to apologize, these things happen --- we love your reactions and I'm sure most of us have your back and very much appreciate what you're doing. That being said, the best way to insure that you don't get anything less than the original version is to always opt for the one on Beatles channel --- you can't go wrong that way. Thanks very much --- truly loved your reaction to this great tune --- it is among the Beatles best. Take care!
George Harrison of the Beatles wrote this song around 1968. John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote most Beatles songs, but George contributed some gems to the Beatles catalog. I hope this rxn isn't blocked. PS. Eric Clapton contributed the guitar solo to this track. He worked off and on with all the Beatles.
You didn't get anything wrong. You're fine. This is a Beatles song George wrote and played lead on when he was in the Beatles and then he did solo later on and eventually after his death at his hall of fame induction that super group played it.
In the 60s, people actually thought music can change the world, so wrote and bought music reflecting that mindset. Whether it's true or not, I don't believe modern music is composed with that perspective these days. But I believe it can change the world. At least it results in better music. I hope that mindset comes back. Entertaining reaction as always.
There’s no such thing as George Harrison covering “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” because he wrote it when he was in The Beatles! It’s his song even if it was The Beatles who recorded it first.
Didn't see your other reaction, but I guess it was at George Harrison's induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: George wrote the song when he was with The Beatles; Eric Clapton played the guitar on this, studio, recording, which was unusual for The Beatles, as the band seldom used other rock musicians on their records. The guitar player playing the solos up until Prince's ending solo played almost exactly as Eric Clapton did on The Beatles studio recording. He was a member of Tom Petty's band I believe.
Love your reviews and your joyful, animated reactions. As I'm sure you know, back in the day we listened to the entire album on good stereo systems, using the album cover to roll a doobie. How about doing "Don't Let Me Down" live, thanks!
The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, recorded this song as a group. That is this video. George Harrison sang this song in concert after the Beatles split up. This recording has Eric Clapton on lead guitar. It might be a good idea for you to read up about the Beatles. No one can touch them.
But the one you reacted to was not a cover. George Harrison wrote this in the Beatles, he was a guitar player and backing vocalist. And he wrote several hits for them. He was the baby of the bunch. I'm not familiar with the one that you reacted to but if Prince was in it it had to be at least a quarter century later after this came out in 1968, written by George Harrison.
George sang lead and Paul did backing vocals on this one. And yes, George wrote some great songs. “Something” and “Here Comes The Sun” are among my favorite Beatles songs.
You really don't need to feel bad for the mistake on the version. Not a huge deal at all. I gave you a hard time but it really was meant to sound intentionally over the top. I hope it came out that way. You're not the first reactor to do that either, specifically with that song but also several other Beatles songs. It used to be really hard to find correct versions of Beatles songs on UA-cam. Most of the time, when people are disappointed about a version, it's just because they want you to hear the the song at its best (which is their opinion).
The first reaction that you deleted was not George Harrison. It was The Beats. The Beats are a Beatles tribute band founded in 1987 in Argentina. They are still active. There are hundreds (it seems) of Beatles tribute bands. None of them can match the real Beatles. Thanks for reacting to the real deal.
You keep saying you took down the original. No you didn’t you took down the cover honoring Harrison. The one you are reacting to now is the original from 1968.
No apologies are needed, we're all learning about music around here. And no insult to Prince, who was a very talented man, but in the other video he was simply copying the OG. Eric Clapton played lead on this cut from The White Album, improvising that amazing guitarwork in the studio.
Ace, if people have problems with what you do. They could start their own music site and allow the world to come down on them. Stop giving a fuck about trying to please EVERYONE
Great song, so what you found a cover first. I listen to a lot of music on repeat. I don't want you to get blocked. May a swarm of fleas invade the haters arm pits!👺
Since George Harrison was one of the Beatles I don't see what the problem is here! I missed the other reaction, sorry, but really what's the big deal? To those folks that can't keep a civil tongue, I say to them go watch a different reactor, he doesn't need you! There are plenty of us that love him just the way he is, don't you remember being young and unsure of things? A-holes!
I'd skipped the live George post you did. I was disappointed you did it instead of the Beatles' version. Paul McCartney has done in concert just about every Beatles' song that he wrote and sang, and a few of John and George's songs, and they sound pretty good. But if you are going to listen to these songs, you want to listen to the Beatles' versions. I don't see much point in watching the live version and then going back and watching the studio version. You want to experience the best version of the song the first time you hear it. I understand why you do the liver versions because of the copyright issues; I just don't have as much interest in listening to them.
I would love to meet your Mom and please stop apologizing if you don't know something! It took us years, even decades to gather all of the information you are trying to soak in overnight! And to hell with all of the naysayers, they should look for their entertainment elsewhere if they don't like how you run your show, but stop apologizing for things you didn't and couldn't have known! Does anyone else feel this way?
The other one (the cover)was a tribute to George when he was posthumously inducted into the Rock in Roll Hall of Fame. The video includes his son Dhanni playing acoustic guitar.
No apologies necessary. Those that were upset need not be mean.❤

This is a George Harrison song written when the Beatles were together. So it’s a Beatles song. Eric Clapton plays on this recording. 😊
And is not credited on the album cover notes.
This song always struck me as “next level” as Beatles songs went.
When I grew up, I found out why. Eric Clapton is on it!
Beatles Anthology 3 has George's demo for this song, and it's stunning in it's simplicity. Give it a listen when you can.
See the love that lies sleeping, still my guitar gently weeps.
Don’t apologize. That’s how we all discover music. You’re awesome
Don't sweat it.. great reaction!
Great reaction, grew up with the Beatles
Don’t let anyone bully you, the cover tribute was great but of course we love the original we loved for 30 years before
This *is* "the George Harrison one" (with the Beatles and Eric Clapton) and it *is* the original.
Many people consider this the best Beatles song. I’m not sure about that, but it’s pretty great.
Says so much about George Harrison that he reached out to Eric Clapton to play guitar on this song.
You didn't get anything wrong. You're fine. This is a Beatles song George wrote and played lead on when he was in the Beatles and then he did solo later on and eventually after his death at his hall of fame induction that super group played it.

There is a “live” version of The Beatles performing Hey Jude that doesn’t seem to get blocked. I think they are on The David Frost Show.
There’s no such thing as George Harrison covering “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” because he wrote it when he was in The Beatles! It’s his song even if it was The Beatles who recorded it first.
There’s an acoustic version by George on the Beatles ‘Love’ album. Brilliant!
Mistakes happen, wtf!!! You rock, brother👌👌👍👍✌✌😁😁
This song Was written and originally preformed by George Harrison while he was a member of the Beatles. Did you see a cover ? His son maybe
No apologies needed at all. We love your channel. No need for anyone to get angry. Simple direction is all thats needed. I like the tribute better.
Didn't see your other reaction, but I guess it was at George Harrison's induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: George wrote the song when he was with The Beatles;

no need to apologize! easy mistake to make! Just glad you are listening to this -
That guitar (Eric Clapton) and that BASS (Paul McCartney) just with this two guys a great band could be created!!
Wow, EC solo so good.
i am surprised to hear that the younger generation never heard the beatles before
You're only human, as are we all.
The Prince thing (great guitarist) but to me ,nothing but glitz and glamour.....................JMHO
Anything you can do to get more Beatles reactions is fine with me. ✌️🖖
Love your reviews and your joyful, animated reactions. As I'm sure you know, back in the day we listened to the entire album on good stereo systems, using the album cover to roll a doobie. How about doing "Don't Let Me Down" live, thanks!

It's not that serious...no one is mad. If they are that's their loss. 😉
No apologies necessary. I was not offended. Take care buddy.
You’re are listening to the original song written by George Harrison and recorded by the Beatles.
boss..that IS George Harrison of the Beatles

Also, Eric Clapton does the solo on this.
Don’t beat yourself up. I love your channel. I grew up with the Beatles, you didn’t. Very easy on UA-cam to get misled.
Nobody is mad at you. It was just a mistake. Shit happens.
You keep saying you took down the original. No you didn’t you took down the cover honoring Harrison. The one you are reacting to now is the original from 1968.
Eric Clapton plays lead guitar on this song.
I hope you reupload the old video, if you mistakingly thought it was The Beatles, just add a few seconds at the beginning explaining it
No apologies are needed, we're all learning about music around here.

Relax man, it ain't the end of the world.
Ace, if people have problems with what you do.
