not that I have not gotten good at thumbs upping videos thanks to this channel. But this time, instead of at the end after watching, I did it at "Mirri the cursed! Wait, it's a 'she', right? Yeah"
Man, I'm so excited for Aurelia 3! She's going straight into my Isshin deck, and she will be the first target of any tutor effects I cast. Soooo much value!
Fun game. I always enjoy you commentating your plays. Very enlightening on new cards i havnt considered in my boros desks. Looking into fighter class and Showdown of the skalds now.
After taking your aurelia deck and putting baeloth/noble heritage in the CZ, i managed to outrace a buddy on korvold treasures WHILE HE WAS TAKING MY HERITAGE COUNTERS. The deck is super fun.
When you were talking about fogs at the end, which others would you consider? Comeuppance maybe? There's that new one from Karlov which looks hilarious, but it does nothing if it's a one-on-one.
Take the Bait still fogs in 1v1. It prevents combat damage to you for the whole turn so even though you goad them into attacking you again the damage is still prevented in the extra combat.
I switch between comeuppance and settle pretty regularly. Settle is better positioned right now because of how much protection and indestructible you see these days, but I also dont like giving them anything back when possible. Dawn Charm is also solid and very flexible. Generally I try to run teferis plus any one of the above.
I think the trample that Aurelia gives might be the most important part of her text. There are tons of red creatures that have situationally huge p/t but no trample. Good home for Hamletback goliath
Fyi, Ludevic triggers when any player aside from the controller loses life during their turn. So just losing 1 to crack a fetch or shocking yourself will trigger an opponents Ludevic
If you want a really fun +1/+1 counter deck, Lae'zel/Noble Heritage makes for some interesting politics. My pet card for that deck is Scholar of the New Horizon
@@CommanderReplay the wildest thing about it is it can be put on any creature you control, when I first started using it I thought it was just artifact creatures.
Sees CommanderReplay Aurelia vid: Excitement
Seeing its not Aurelia the Law above: Slightly less excitement
Yeah I did think about that. Sorry for the let down. She'll becoming real soon though, Ive just been dying with health stuff for the last 2 weeks.
Since magic has gone off the deep end with the Universes Beyond stuff, they should do a Mortal Kombat set
Im hoping for the 1990s New York Yankees. Nothing is out of reach at this point.

Lol yeah I made that mistake once a really long time ago :)

Oh yeah seems insane in that deck. She will be very good across the board.

@@mn6334 Ohhhhh I misssed that!
@@CommanderReplay Dawn charm! So versatile. Thanks for the reply!

Angelfire Ignition would be such a flavor win in this deck. haha
It's pretty strong, too.
Yeah its a sweet card. Probably just need to jam it into more decks randomly.

Good game pj
Good Game. Happy I didnt die to your stupid token thing ;)
Semesters End is a very underrated board wipe protection spell.
Indeed it is and fits perfectly with what were doing :)
You could’ve used fetch lands or shock lands to draw a card at your end step from Ludevic. The trigger only cares about ludevic’s opponents
hope u do nelly borca soon
Scavenged Brawler is an all star in my Megatron deck
Yeah its a cool little card. Trying to use the ability on Ashling but it hasnt come up yet.
