I have learned through the years that most the time when people are talking bad about you and saying bad things about you and just being nasty, they are just miserable with themselves. They have nothing better to do than to try to find somebody they can constantly talk about to make themselves feel better. So don't worry about it, I think you're doing great I love your videos and I've been watching you for 3 years now and will continue to watch you and I'm 64 years old and I don't care what anybody thinks about me.

My hubby and I got engaged and married 6 weeks later so we only had some family there… no rehearsal, no reception, we literally got married, ate cake, and left for our honeymoon. This was 13 years ago. We’ve talked about doing a vow renewal since our wedding was so tiny so I would love to see your ideas! I married my Prince Charming 40 years ago next month at a very young age of 18 - just because we were in love, and he is 4 years older than me - so we met with some resistance from family and friends but Thank goodness we didn't listen to them because we are still on our honeymoon. He is truly my best friend and I pray that is the case for you and your upcoming marriage. My Grandmother used to say, "If you can't something nice, then don't say anything at all" and I still hear her saying that to this day even though she passed some time ago. I think that people should get back to that old rule of thumb! Why is it so important to hurt others? I think it is to make up for their own unhappy lives. I am a crafter, so I do understand how difficult it can be to provide content and also having to be in the mood to craft is something we have no control over. Great video, but most powerful when you shared the story about the negtive (nasty people) and you said what you learned about really pushing it into a 'does --not--matter' space. It is an ongoing battle to fight being emotionally hurt when people don't like you/your work, but you sincerely sound like you learned a cosmic life lesson. Be true to yourself...the rewards and dedicated follows will be there.

That is so great that you donate a lot of the clothes from your videos to local high schools! I worked as a teacher's aide at a high school for about 5 years and I saw the need for some of the kids was great. One of the teachers set up a secret santa project at Christmas where we school employees could buy gifts anonymously for students who would otherwise receive nothing. The thing they needed most was usually clothing. It was rewarding to see how much of a boost these kids' self-esteem got when they wore their brand new clothes!

I would love a wedding planning video! My hubby and I got engaged and married 6 weeks later so we only had some family there… no rehearsal, no reception, we literally got married, ate cake, and left for our honeymoon. This was 13 years ago. We’ve talked about doing a vow renewal since our wedding was so tiny so I would love to see your ideas! I married my Prince Charming 40 years ago next month at a very young age of 18 - just because we were in love, and he is 4 years older than me - so we met with some resistance from family and friends but Thank goodness we didn't listen to them because we are still on our honeymoon. He is truly my best friend and I pray that is the case for you and your upcoming marriage. My Grandmother used to say, "If you can't something nice, then don't say anything at all" and I still hear her saying that to this day even though she passed some time ago. I think that people should get back to that old rule of thumb! Why is it so important to hurt others? I think it is to make up for their own unhappy lives. "I'm Rubber, your glue is also an oldy but a goody! If everyone would just treat each other as they would like to be treated, this world would be a much happier place. As far as those mean comments, my advice (from someone who is old enough to be your Mom) is to totally ignore them. Those people are toxic and unhappy with themselves so they have to cut others down. They don't deserve a second of your time or a single thought from your mind.

I do miss your DIY's that is why I subbed to you in the beginning...It was your wedding ideas...and I got married last July and used a few of them. I am a crafter, so I do understand how difficult it can be to provide content and also having to be in the mood to craft is something we have no control over. So I guess we will just wait for the time and enjoy them when they come. I think another helpful part of being successful on YT is having a good personality (you do) and being pretty (you are). Great video, but most powerful when you shared the story about the negtive (nasty people) and you said what you learned about really pushing it into a 'does --not--matter' space. It is an ongoing battle to fight being emotionally hurt when people don't like you/your work, but you sincerely sound like you learned a cosmic life lesson. Be true to yourself...the rewards and dedicated follows will be there.

That is so great that you donate a lot of the clothes from your videos to local high schools! I worked as a teacher's aide at a high school for about 5 years and I saw the need for some of the kids was great. One of the teachers set up a secret santa project at Christmas where we school employees could buy gifts anonymously for students who would otherwise receive nothing. The thing they needed most was usually clothing. It was rewarding to see how much of a boost these kids' self-esteem got when they wore their brand new clothes!
This is such a terrific video. You're so smart, kind, generous, creative, and real, and I'm so happy you have been able to make a career out of being YOU. I'm always so sad to hear about the nasty comments, but I always remember that those folks are really hurting, and for some reason they think that being mean to others will make themselves feel better.
