When people are mean, it tells a lot about them. Most meanies are jealous, often unhappy. I think you are very creative and I like the pace and editting of your videos. You just keep doing you because obviously you do you best and we love you.

I have learned through the years that most the time when people are talking bad about you and saying bad things about you and just being nasty, they are just miserable with themselves. They have nothing better to do than to try to find somebody they can constantly talk about to make themselves feel better. So don't worry about it, I think you're doing great I love your videos and I've been watching you for 3 years now and will continue to watch you and I'm 64 years old and I don't care what anybody thinks about me.

The story of how you met your fiancé is very similar to how I met my husband. He always said that we met that night because we were “meant to be”. Ironically enough, this happened in Orlando as well. We have been married for 23 years. I wish you and your future hubby much love and happiness!!

Sara Jane, my Mom told me years ago that those who talk down others do so because of jealousy. They talk down others to make themselves feel more important. They have no clue that lifting up others is what will really bring them joy. You are a joy bringer. I'm glad you no longer let the downers of the world bring you down with them.
I would love a wedding planning video! My hubby and I got engaged and married 6 weeks later so we only had some family there… no rehearsal, no reception, we literally got married, ate cake, and left for our honeymoon. This was 13 years ago. We’ve talked about doing a vow renewal since our wedding was so tiny so I would love to see your ideas! I’m sure many others would love to see your ideas as well even if they’re not planning a wedding, I’m sure it would be useful for any planned event! ❤

As far as those mean comments, my advice (from someone who is old enough to be your Mom) is to totally ignore them. Those people are toxic and unhappy with themselves so they have to cut others down. They don't deserve a second of your time or a single thought from your mind.

I married my Prince Charming 40 years ago next month at a very young age of 18 - just because we were in love, and he is 4 years older than me - so we met with some resistance from family and friends but Thank goodness we didn't listen to them because we are still on our honeymoon. He is truly my best friend and I pray that is the case for you and your upcoming marriage. My Grandmother used to say, "If you can't something nice, then don't say anything at all" and I still hear her saying that to this day even though she passed some time ago. I think that people should get back to that old rule of thumb! Why is it so important to hurt others? I think it is to make up for their own unhappy lives. "I'm Rubber, your glue is also an oldy but a goody! If everyone would just treat each other as they would like to be treated, this world would be a much happier place. Yes, I am a pageant girl from an early age, but I really do want world peace, lol.... Keep doing what you do and ignore the haters and meanies! What inspired me was when you were talking about dating and how guys should treat you. I love that your fiance CALLED you and not texted PLUS about what you said about a guy pursuing you. Great video, but most powerful when you shared the story about the negtive (nasty people) and you said what you learned about really pushing it into a 'does --not--matter' space. It is an ongoing battle to fight being emotionally hurt when people don't like you/your work, but you sincerely sound like you learned a cosmic life lesson. Be true to yourself...the rewards and dedicated follows will be there.

I do miss your DIY's that is why I subbed to you in the beginning...It was your wedding ideas...and I got married last July and used a few of them. I am a crafter, so I do understand how difficult it can be to provide content and also having to be in the mood to craft is something we have no control over. So I guess we will just wait for the time and enjoy them when they come. I think another helpful part of being successful on YT is having a good personality (you do) and being pretty (you are). That is so great that you donate a lot of the clothes from your videos to local high schools! I worked as a teacher's aide at a high school for about 5 years and I saw the need for some of the kids was great. One of the teachers set up a secret santa project at Christmas where we school employees could buy gifts anonymously for students who would otherwise receive nothing. The thing they needed most was usually clothing. It was rewarding to see how much of a boost these kids' self-esteem got when they wore their brand new clothes!

When you talked about trolling it just made me so sad for a moment. I am 71 years old so I have seen trends and behaviors change over the years. Have we always had bullies, absolutely! But not to the extent we have them now thanks to social media. Don't get me wrong, there are so many fun and positive things on the internet. I mostly love social media. But it is a culture that is accepted by many now that meanness is acceptable and to some even admired. When you are anonymous you can be mean without any consequences. So it is a cowards way to feel important by putting other people down. You are so positive and uplifting. I really enjoy your channel. Your influence has a far reaching good effect on many people. This was such a nice video. I appreciate your transparency. Your comments about the DIYs made me laugh a little - I stop trying a long time ago. Also, appreciate your honesty with dealing with difficult emotions, especially feeling incredibly hurt. We all go through painful times in our lives but really aren't taught how to deal with those emotions. Social media has brought out many positive things but also much hate and rudeness.
