I made a short list of ROBLOX games that you can jump into and have fun right away. I weeded out many of the games that I enjoy but coming up with a short set of standards:
1. This game has no long term grind
2. This game isn't too complicated
3. This game's monetization practices aren't too intrusive
Some of the games shown may already be familiar to you, in future videos I'd like to discover more. This is by no means a comprehensive list.

0:36 - game is called noobs in combat. It is a board game startegy and very fun. I have it played it for at least 2 years and got endgame ages ago but theres so much content i still come back to it, such as pvp.

I couldn't recommend At Odd's End more, it's got such a tightly knit community, the lead dev is VERY active and I've met him at least five times online just this week, and there are very many community factions being made. He has a lot of content planned for the game, as well

Really can't reccomend game. Owner killed me when I didn't attack or nothing when I had stuff on me, (lost it all) and at the start of the game there is no substance at all

A game i recommend is called combat initiation, and is modeled after old/ retro Roblox style combat, but with a few tweaks. The ways you can play the game is also t infinite and there are even secret attack as/ secondary attacks you can do with each item, and each item has a different ability you can use. It’s like a team based game where you go to different worlds/ old Roblox maps to fight npcs with different abilities and cool bosses. 9/10 recommend it if you’re bored.
It is basically ULTRAKILL but in Roblox
Combat Initiation kinda gets stale after a while in my experience.

I would also recommend entrenched.l, like centura. If you need to be an officer rank you do need to grind but tbh it not fun. It has a smaller map I like
A game i can reccomend is Take and Hold, its fun and rather simple, doesnt really have any grind either, you just spawn in with one of 3 regular classes, kill/heal some people, eventually spend some cash you got from murdering/healing people on a special class that you can use for the rest of the round (or one life in some cases), repeat until the end of the round and then restart once the next round starts

Also Naval warfare Is a good one, it's like trench war but there are ships and planes, but there are coins that require waiting, but u can just afk those
At Odd’s End is legendary. We took a 20 man fleet into blue’s spawn and lost, it’s life changing. Thanks for the suggestion.

I really hope some kid that’s used to playing clicker simulators and crappy games like that can see this video and want to play these games. I hope that hypothetical kid enjoys the experience they have in these games and plays these games instead. A few games I can recommend if you enjoy shooter games are: Trenches : Beta, Arms of solitaire, Dummies vs Noobs, Dead Ahead, blood and iron, zeppelin wars, airship assault, bionic warfare, and energy assault. Some bonus older classic games I used to play are Pirate wars, Train Wars, and Blimp wars, and call of roblox. Thank you for creating this video, I hope that this helps people that want to find good games, find them easily.
i have a list of games now, but o boy, how many roblox games i lonst and could never play again, anyways a good one i know fron that list os arms of solitaire

Love this video, it's always great to get recommendations on new games to play. If you ever do another one of these, I would definitely recommend Phighting to cover, it's genuinely the highest quality game I've played on Roblox lol

It is a class based team fighting game with classes being inspired from old roblox gear.
The teams are max 5 players each, and the rounds last around 5 min. But what sells the cake is the personality of all the classes. subspace is the mad scientist that focuses on aoe damaging and has a supportive role. Slingshot is a catboy that really likes to train their legs to the point where they can walk on air, and their personality is very playfull and a bit cocky, they act as a mid to close range class.
Katana is a melee class that is quite the silent character however is quite strong.
There are more phighters(i spelled it right) in the game but this comment would be go on forever.
And one last thing, the ost is perfect.
I was looking for this comment after project remix was mentioned, PHIGHTING is such an amazing game
True, but it got too many players to register on this list.
The TV show broadcast on Project Remix is *most likely* a reference to Splatoon, where after rounds (or the beginning of rounds) two announcer people will speak and stuff, really cool IMO!
I really recommend playing AI wars too :) it’s simple, 2 sides the red and blue team and reds are the bad AI while blue are the good AI, it isn’t pay to win and u can get started from the start and it’s just super fun
Blood and Iron. Game can be confusing at first, but once you get them controls, it's basically scuffed Warband, and the community is fun (sometimes).
Combat initiation would fir nicely on this list too, and I think it is gaining popularity now. Takes inspiration from both classic roblox and ultrakill.
I'm so happy that Project Remix got mentioned! That game is hella underrated.
I reccomend dummies vs noobs. It's a wave survival where you can pick from 6 different classes to fight the enemies with other players. The game is very fun and requires no grind at all whilst also being very challenging with alot of different play styles like engineer, medic, sniper, melee and much more.
You should play and put Guts and Blackpowder into a video, it’s a Napoleonic Wars zombie game where you and 19 others have to escape and survive there is 5 (I think) survival maps and like 2 endless maps (like cod zombies without the windows) it is really fun and you don’t really have to buy the other weapons in the shop unless you want to waste money cause they are garbage
I also recommend playing Wave swords bots game, it has a variety of fun replayable modes. It’s kinda dead but it still gets updated and a couple people still play it, and also bleeding blades & blood and iron are fun too

never forget item asylum, it has infinite replayability because of all the randomness and the only thing you can to grind for is cosmetic emotes and tags, which you can't buy with robux.
Of course, it’s way too popular for a video like this though lol
item asylum and allusions are great games.
item asylum's community is equally as random so i stopped playing it
im not sure if this is also a problem for everyone but the servers get smaller quickly so i have to keep server hopping which is time consuming

A game I recommend is decaying winter. I don’t know if it’s on the “popular” scale yet but it’s still really fun. It’s a team based wave survival game that may be complicated but you will get the hang of it eventually.
Just to throw another one in there Combat Initiation is mad fun. Its a small roguelike with really cool mechanics that arent too obvious at first but are pretty easy to learn. Very quick and repeatable gameplay loop with lots of fun to be had.
If you guys want a game like syrian shenanigans i highly recommend multitank crew 4, it's like syrian shenanigans but it's more focuse on vehicle's compared to infantry but i still recommend it.
Project Remix is great, i got straight hooked 3 days ago and i found my favorite nigh instantly. There's nothing that makes me happier than a good parry in a game.
Although Some of the support items are a bit strong, teamwork should be rewarded but not this much.
I'm refering to fae circle and stellar tune, both AOE heals with good range, you're quite sadly forced to either run them yourself or counterpick them because they're just that strong.
But yeah, Zero grind, dozens of unique weapons and abilities interacting with one another to form a very fun very chaotic game.
Syrian Shenanigans is a really fun game, there is a development studio ran by one guy that is working on a game like it.
Merc Fleet is also a pretty fun game. Movement shooter with a banger soundtrack and not too bad of a grind.
Centaura added a option in the menu to choose a different server and it will tell you what map they are playing so now if you have a couple maps you like you can just keep changing to those maps through server change in menu. also there is usually like 10 - 20 servers active so most maps are being played at any given time.

if you like games like centura or trench warfare, try a game call entrenched, its a ww1 shooter with different classes/weapons depending on which country you play as; all actually used in ww1; there are many maps based on real ww1 battles. it has different gamemodes such as domination and conquest, i hop on it when im bored and have a good time.
At Odd's End is based off an older game "A Pirate's Life" , which was a game part of my CHILDHOOD, and after it died i was devistated, and this vid has shown me HOPE to play it again maybe, even if just to re-live that feeling again
too bad it's dead now, not a single person online
I recommend Cold War, it's a war game set in the later 1900's (I think) during a conflict between PACT and NATO forces. There's little to no grind but you can buy upgraded classes for ingame currency (you unlock classes as you level up). The graphics are simple yet pleasing and the sounds are great too, there are only two maps currently but the dev team is active and is working on new maps, classes, weapons, and vehicles.
MTC is one of my favorites

A game like trench wars has the same look as naval warfare. It is super cool. It is basically just a navy war simulator with like planes and battleships that you spawn in

the game that got me into Roblox in the first place was Trenches by dynamic games. you do have to work to get new weapons but that's about it. you don't even have to be good at it, it's a simple 3rd/1st person shooter roughly based on WW1 with some historical accuracy, and the game has serious potential.
Multicrew tank combat 4(Mtc4)is simillar to syrian shenanigans but it's a little better in terms of realism and tanks,in my perspective the game isnt that grindy because almost every tank is unlocked to play but with a required score to spawn,it really isn't that hard to get score and you don't lose the score when you spend it on a tank,the tanks are balanced except for some overpowered tanks,for example the sturmtiger but it can easily be countered by dynamite,it's really fun with friends aswell for example strapping c4's on a truck and charging at the enemy.
I LOVE TRENCH WARS, I also play a similar game (in age) which I believe is called naval wars, it's trench wars, but with 3 markers, and you cross water to claim islands with planes and ships, Japan vs USA
bro is like those “top 5 roblox games you should play” but he is actually playing the games and showing gameplay,love the style!
If you liked syrian shenanigans you should definitely try multicrew tank combat 4, it's extremely detailed
I really enjoyed watching this!! Even more simple games you can try out are:

-MTC4 (some items do need grind but they are optional)
-Plane crazy (although has steep learning curve)
-Naval warfare
-Epic minigames

Even though hackers are very much present in Trench Wars, when theres non, it really tuns to a stress reliever for me with how possibly dynamic and all twist n stuff dat could happen ingame
I have two really good games that go by the rules you've given. Entrenched, it's exactly like the first game mentioned but just a lil different. And I don't remember the name of the second game, but I'm pretty sure it is called naval war something, ill see tho.
I would recommend Tiny wheels aswell, it is a simple drift racing game where there are only 4 controls : w,a,s,d. It drift automatically

You can press Space during the cutscenes in Project remix to edit your build, but that's all you can do.

I've got one game that is really similar to Syrian Shenanigans with the same concept of combined arms warfare but with a bigger emphasis on tank on tank combat, Multicrew Tank Combat Simulator 4. Some of the most fun with and without friends, and has some of the most satisfying tank kill animations like cookoffs and ammoracks. Kind of a lovechild between Squad and War Thunder but in the blocky format of Roblox. Would definitely recommend you try it out and maybe even throw it onto a second installment if this becomes a series!
if you like to roleplay and also likes old roblox, i recommend "generic zombie apoclypse RP". the game has no grinding and also theres serious rp servers that block trolls, theres also Bulwark, a medieval pvp game inspired by mordhau that is VERY good
Theres also multicrew tank combat, its bit more realistic and it had modern tanks too
I would recommend "Take and hold" its a really good pvp and pve version of Dummies vs Noobs

i play multicrew tank combat instead of syrian shenanigans, i mean, you can also man a vehicle, with one faction in the game you can also make toyota technicals or toyota IEDs. or just go infantry, build up an SPG-9 or TOW or something and destroy enemies, or just do it with a hand held launcher, or just engage with enemy infantry

I prefer Trenches over Trench war and any other Trench warfare/WW1 esque game. The sometimes long drawn out matches in Trenches add to how fun it is. And also it feel likes youre making a difference for your team on Trenches, like when you build the main trench line for your team, or when you build a pillbox in a good position that kills a large amount of the enemy.
I recommend you to try Cold war, this game is about USSR vs USA, this game is really fun, they recently added cars with turrets and APCS as well. There isnt that much grind as well.
Btw, one of the best roblox games is called combat initiation, it’s ultra kill based and just has such a smooth, fun gameplay experience.

I’d like to say that multicrew tank sim is like Syrian shenanigans with more polish and is very fun with friends
i feel like another game that does fit here is Anomalous Activity, no grind required, super simple gameplay (phasmaphobia with guns) but unfortunately its kind of not optimized. There is a spin off that is much lighter but requires grinding to progress
literally play/played almost every game on this list and i can confirm these games are simple and fun
The fact i like about centaura is that u dont see ur kills,deaths or killstreak soo peoples wont flex it after match(ofc u can see from leaderboard but u would get shot from someone).
You should try isle. It is an open world horror game with a lot of replay ability. You can team up with others or fight them and get the many different escapes.
i love noobs in combat, when i started playing it i thought field gun (2nd starter artillery) was rigged because it cant attack and move at the same time and i didnt know how to use radios when i was new (noobs in combat is the game in intro)

Base wars was so much fun.
there's also a game i like similar to trench war called naval warfare which is as simple and fun as trench war, basically you just go across the map's sea, take island a, b, c, and then destroy their harbour.

guts and blackpowder is a napolic style game about you in the napolic times with zombies i mean sure there is a bit of grind but to expirience the full game you dont realy need to grind unless you want the small cosmetics or neat wepons

another game i would recommend is zeppelin wars, its a simple game that has little grinding and is super fun to play

a handful of small games that I like and are somewhat underground:
zeppelin wars - a remake of a classic roblox game its kinda hard to get into and now adays i kinda don't play it that much. is still some what fun basically the gameplay summed up is there are two factions air pirates and air patrol who fight against each other with planes and zeppelins i really want this game to succeed it has so much potential
noobs in combat - NiC is a turn based strategy game where you make your own army, super fun, super satisfying and addictive
cold war - a shooter thats kinda like syrian shenanigans except no tanks and super simple taking place in an alt history ww3 cold war gone hot currently two maps one in the ussr and usa like i said its pretty fun and simple
PURGATORY & neighborhood war - both are free for all shooter gun-fighting arena with very clunky awkward gun handling with a depressing atmosphere
PGTA (Pixel Gun Tower Defense) - tower defense with pixel gun stuff all over it, if you played pixel gun as an ipad kid and had fond memories i highly recommend this game, its kinda hard to get into but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy to manage
there are so many games on roblox i really can never understand people who always complain about how "old roblockz waz so gud!!!111! i like playing 0.06789 fps" and "there are no games on boblocks its over bacon bros" honesty if you look hard enough there are so many hidden gems that are worth giving a try.
Pgtd is one of my favorite games and is top two in tower defense with scp tds
Thanks for the games i was kinda getting bored of roblox. Also if ur gonna do another part u could also feature a game called Build to survive the robots! Its a fun game similar to the other build to survive games but you can also be one of the enemies (the robots). It can be a bit grindy unlocking new robots and weapons and blocks for being a human but it gets more fun.
Another game you could feature is Canterbury bus simulator. It is a uk based bus game where you drive buses in a place called Canterbury, which is a real place in the uk and i have been there a few times but the map on the game isnt that accurate to irl Canterbury. You unlock new buses the more u drive and is pretty fun.
One underated game I would highly recommend is Solar Conquest 2. It's a multi-player open world rts with base building and star ship dogfights.
It's so unheard-of that it only accumulates around 15 players at any given time.
SO much so that you can actually build peace whenever there's like that little people-
I’ve been playing it for a while, also it only has slightly above 1 million visits so that’s why nobody has heard of it

Try Middle Eastern Combat Simulator, it's a similar version of Syrian Shenanigans but has a uniqueness to it and mostly aren't free modeled

you REALLY need to see mutation its a game where you have to make your own build with 100s of armors and gear then fight the player controlled zombies which can mutate and make special zombies there are more zombie combinations than gear
Centaura is in the same universe as dead ahead, which is kinda cool, because dead ahead is a navy contuation.
